Qualcuno conosce questa azienda? Io ne ho sentito solo parlare: si tratta di un piccolo costruttore che ha prodotto un SUV e una Spider particolari: massime prestazioni e massima personalizzazione sono le parole d'ordine
In particolare il SUV promette di essere il veicolo della sua categori più veloce: 280 Km/h per la versione da 450 Cv e oltre per quella potenziata!

Whats the fastest SUV being built today? Porsches Cayenne Turbo? The BMW X5 4.6is? How about Infinitis FX45? While all are mighty quick, with superb driving dynamics, they dont hold title to the worlds fastest SUV.

That honor goes to Fornasari, for their new RR450. SUV? Well, exactly how it should be classified is a difficult proposition. Its a three-box design on stilts, but theres an extra twist. Its overachieving engine makes it amazingly fast, no matter how you define it.

The Fornasari can be had with either a 450 or 600 horsepower 5.7 liter GM-sourced V8, connecting through to all-wheels via a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

Add this to the vehicles compact body, standing at only 173.2 inches in length, 81.1 inches in width and 64.6 inches tall, and overall light weight, has Fornasari claiming it to be the fastest off-roader in the world. How fast is it? Zero to 60 mph arrives in under 4.0 seconds, with a top speed of over 175 mph reachable.


Going into limited production later on this year, the Fornasari RR450 sports a low sloping hood, reminding that this is an Italian sportster. Also following this theme are low-mounted aggressively styled head and taillights.


The RR450s interior is a combination of sports and luxury, trimmed out in fine leather and aluminum. Its instruments are chrome ringed for a touch of elegance.

Santo cielo, questo affare gira da anni. Ne ho visto uno in autostrada due o tre anni fà.
Comunque non è un SUV: è un fuoristrada ibridato con un'auto sportiva.
Dal vivo è decisamente aggressivo, ma anche piuttosto posticcio.

Io lo vidi al Motor Show di Bologna credo due o tre anni fa. in quell'occasione la Fornasari espose entrambe le macchine presentate anche nel sito.

Direi di no.
Primo non dovrebbe fare qualcosa di simile a questo fuoristrada, perchè è tutt'altro che confortevole ed elegante.
Secondo, sarebbe bello che Maserati producesse un vero fuoristrada di classe, ma per due motivi non è il caso che lo faccia:
- Ora vanno le Suv, che sono più d'immagine e di lusso che da fuoristrada.
- Manca il know-how per fare una meccanica contemporaneamente robusta, prestante nel fuoristrada e prestante su strada. La Land Rover possiede questo know-how, ma ci ha messo decenni per arrivare dov'è. E anche lei si stà comunque spostando sui SUV veloci (vedi lo Sport).

In definitiva, e lo dico a malincuore, la Maserati deve tirare fuori qualcosa di più prestante di una classe M e di più elegante ed esclusivo di una Cayenne, ma pur sempre un SUV.

Comunque è vero che non è una novità vera e propria, ma è anche l'unico mezzo simil SUV italiano, mica poco
