E tra l'altro, sta permettendo alla precedente 1 di invecchiar piuttosto bene.

Per quanto riguarda i nomi degli allestimenti, sono degni di una Citroen .

Vi dirò, io l'ho avuta in prova per 3 giorni e rispetto alla precedente è un deciso passo in avanti in tutti i sensi ed anche come linea, ritornando alla mia, ora mi sembra vecchia e superata.

Ci posso credere, ma ad oggi per le poche che ho visto.....brutta era e brutta è rimasta...... Magari fra un paio d'anni diventerà solo "bruttina".....

Exclusive: U.S. BMW 1 Series to stay another two model years, there have been talks of next 1-Series M

Continuing our series of posts with our exclusive interview with BMW M-Division’s product manager for North America, Matt Russell, he talks about the 1-Series again.

Previously, Russell praised the success of the 1-Series M-Coupe and seeing as how we at egmCarTech loved it too when we first drove it, I asked Russell if we could expect a new M version with the next generation BMW 1-Series.
In his response and from what we know, the 1-Series five-door hatchback was fully redesigned for the European markets, however North America should not expect a redesign for the 1-Series Coupe and Convertible to pop around anytime soon.
“So far, the 1-Series five-door hatchback was redesigned for Europe and is currently on sale. As for the 1-Series coupe and convertible, they’ll continue in the US in their current form as we know them for another one to two model years,” Russell in told us in an interview. “We consider them to be in the middle of their life cycle, so because the 1-Series coupe and convertible are a ways away from being redesigned in the U.S.”

When asked if BMW will do another 1-Series M Coupe whenever the next-generation model arrives he said: “It’s hard not to talk about a successor to the 1-Series M-Coupe, but at the same time it’s hard to consider because it is too far away.”
He went onto say that BMW M engineers would love to do cars like the 1-Series M Coupe every year, but sadly, that’s not possible.
