Honda has confirmed that it will launch a hybrid version of its Jazz supermini at the Paris motor show at the end of next month.
The Jazz hybrid will share many of its components with the Insight, including that car’s 1.3-litre petrol engine-based hybrid powertrain.

The engine/electric motor mix is mated to a CVT gearbox and, like the Insight, the Jazz will be able to run on electric power alone in low-speed conditions.
The new model gets a few visual cues to make it stand out from regular Jazz variants, including revised headlights with a blue surround, clear tail-lights, a new front grille, different bumpers and flashes of chrome on the rear hatch.

The interior gets a single-colour dashboard and blue-lit dials and instruments. Leather trim will also be offered for the first time on a Jazz in Europe.
The Japanese manufacturer has yet to reveal any details on CO2 emissions or fuel economy figures for the car, which will go on sale in the UK next spring. But expect a CO2 figure of just over 100g/km, and more

Elimineranno l'attuale pozzetto per la ruota di scorta. Quindi dovrebbe restare sui 330 dmc.
In giro si parlava di un'unita' a benzina piu' piccola, intorno ai 1.0 litri.
Per motivi di economia si usa paro paro il gruppo motore di Insight.

fossero 330 non sarebbe neanche male: sarebbe il bagagliaio standard di una C berlina! se si guarda a consumi ecc, sarebbe davvero interessante come alternativa ai diesel. altrimenti, se si fa poca strada, io la prenderei comunque benzina: consuma poco, costa meno e hai più bagagliaio. e in termini "ambientali", non ti poni problemi per lo smaltimento in futuro delle batterie.

The Honda Jazz Hybrid will make its world motor show debut at 2010 the Paris Motor Show, further demonstrating Honda's continuing commitment to petrol-electric hybrid technology.
The launch of the latest addition to the practical Honda Jazz line-up will mark the first time a parallel hybrid vehicle has been available to B-segment consumers. The IMA hybrid motor and control system are shared with the Insight and CR-Z hybrids, taking advantage of the proven reliability of this important technology. With almost two decades of development and 10 years of sales behind it, the Honda IMA system has proven itself to be a flexible and dependable technology, with over half a million vehicles on the road benefitting from its combination of low emissions and fuel economy.
The new model will feature the same engine as the Insight hybrid, the 1.3 litre i-VTEC engine is combined with a CVT gearbox with an electric motor sandwiched between the two to create a parallel hybrid system. Like the Insight and Civic Hybrid models the Honda Jazz Hybrid will be capable of running on the electric motor alone under some medium and low speed conditions.
Much of the Honda Jazz's practicality is derived from its height but despite being taller than the Insight, the Jazz Hybrid manages to maintain fuel consumption and CO2 emissions on comparable levels.
Visually the Honda Jazz Hybrid is distinguished from the current Jazz range with revised headlights, with a blue surround, clear rear lights, new front grille, restyled bumpers and a chrome tailgate garnish. The new hybrid will also be available in a range of existing colours plus a bespoke Lime Green metallic.
Inside the cabin is also given a fresh look with darker single colour dashboard, which contrasts strongly with the blue lighting of the dials and stereo. The new hybrid is also available with leather trim, the first time this has been available on a Jazz model in Europe. The Honda Jazz Hybrid will go on sale in some European markets in the early part of 2011.

Premesso che sono un fan della Honda e che amo la Jazz che comprerei ogni minuto se avesse una versione a metano, 2 conti della serva per stabilire i costi di consumo in Italia:

1,2 benza = 5,5 lt/100 km
Hibrid = Consumi dichiarati 4,4 lt/100km - emissioni co2 104 g/km , fonte:

Una ibrida non al di sotto dei fatidici 100 g/km? Ha senso?

Confronti con il gasolio:

Jazz Hybrid equivalente = 4,93 lt/100 km (+12% x rapporto costo benzina/gasolio)
Polo 1.6 TDI = 3,7 lt/100km - emissioni co2 96 g/km
Punto Evo ECO Diesel 85 HP = 3,6 lt/100km - emissioni co2 95 g/km
Polo 1.2 Bluemotion = 3,3 lt/100km - emissioni co2 87 g/km

La Polo Bluemotion darebbe quindi un risparmio del 33% sul costo carburante, le altre del 26%.

Ha senso economicamente l'ibrido IMA in Italia? non mi sembra.....

secondo me la macchina ha tutt'altre prestazioni e fluidità di guida rispetto ai cadaverini che citi.

sul discorso consumi/emissioni invece non ci piove.
