Cmq con l'arrivo della XF la linea classica dell'XJ puo tranquillamente restare in gamma anche nelle prox generazioni (IMHO).

Si, però da un'anno a questa parte alla XJ hanno tolto le cromature attorno ai vetri. non vorrei che con questo restyling gli tolgano altre cose.

Secondo me non ha molto senso fare un restyling su un'auto dalla linea così "classica", dovrebbero semplicemente fare aggiornamenti tecnici (V8 diesel della Range Rover più adeguato al tipo di auto rispetto al 2.7 V6) e nella lista optional.

Jaguar is preparing a facelift for the company’s luxury model XJ. These photos are showing a prototype on a test drive near the Jaguar factory. It is featuring a new front- and rear end and a lightly remodeled interior. With this facelift, Jaguar hopes to get sales of its flagship back up again. Due to the current model’s old fashioned styling it is not really a best seller at this time.
On the photos one can guess already the styling of the new front grille which is said to adapt the design of the upcoming new Jaguar S-Type. The prototype also shows that the next XJ gets air intakes on the sides like the Range Rover or the Portfolio XJ.
The XJ restyling is scheduled for release at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2007.
