La nuova Jeep Patriot 2.2 CRD fa il suo debutto sul mercato italiano e sostituisce la precedente versione di due litri, portando in dote una potenza incrementata a 163 CV, l’omologazione Euro 5 e consumi combinati pari a 6,6 l/100 km. A partire da metà novembre la Jeep Patriot 2.2 CRD è in vendita a partire da 26.300 euro negli allestimenti Sport e Limited, con in più la possibilità di avere nuovi pacchetti speciali di opzioni.

PIU’ COPPIA E POTENZA
Il cuore del rinnovamento è il 4 cilindri turbodiesel common rail di 2,2 litri dotato di turbina a geometria variabile e in grado di esprimere 163 CV fra 3.600 - 4.200 giri/min (+16% rispetto al modello uscente) e una coppia massima di 320 Nm (+3%) espressa più in basso, fra 1.400 e 3.600 giri/min . Abbinato al cambio manuale 6 marce il nuovo propulsore permette alla Patriot di consumare mediamente 6,6 l/100 km, di emettere 172 g/km di CO2 e di percorrere teoricamente 780 km con un pieno di gasolio.

HILL START ASSIST
Jeep Patriot adotta il sistema di trazione integrale Active Full-time Freedom Drive I con modalità di bloccaggio elettronico, arricchendosi al contempo di Hill Start Assist per le partenze in salita, dei poggiatesta anteriori attivi e della leva del freno a mano rivestita in pelle. Rispetto a questo allestimento che la Sport propone di serie, la versione Limited offre in più airbag laterali anteriori, clima automatico, sedile di guida a regolazione elettrica, vivavoce Bluetooth e sistema di controllo pressione pneumatici

DA 26.300 EURO
La Patriot 2.2 CRD Sport ha un prezzo base di 26.300 euro, mentre la Limited parte da 28.800 euro. La versione Sport può essere arricchita con un inedito pacchetto di accessori denominato Sport Plus Pack, che nel prezzo di 1.500 euro include fendinebbia, vetri scuri, cruise control, retrovisore interno autoanabbagliante, volante con inserti in pelle e comandi integrati, vivavoce Bluetooth, sedili anteriori riscaldabili, airbag laterali anteriori e controllo pressione pneumatici. Nuovo è anche l’Overland Pack pensato per rendere ancora più completa la Patriot 2.2 CRD Limited. Costa 2.000 euro e aggiunge sensori di parcheggio posteriori, cerchi in lega da 18”, sedili con inserti in pelle, sistema multimediale e navigazione UConnect GPS con hard disk e impianto audio evoluto. Unica opzione extra a pagamento è la vernice metallizzata/perlata (ma anche nera o bianca), che costa 480 euro.

New-for-2011 Jeep Patriot exterior highlights include an aggressive new front fascia with standard fog lamps positioned inside the headlamps; a new rear fascia that extends lower than on previous models; a body-color grille; new available 17-inch wheels; four new colors and 4x4 ride height that has been increased by 1 inch.
Interior upgrades for the 2011 Jeep Patriot include new soft touch front-door trim panels with a padded upper surface; new center armrest; a new Jeep steering wheel with integrated controls that allow the driver to operate the radio, cruise control, hands-free phone and other vehicle functions while keeping their hands on the wheel; new cloth interior, with premium cloth bucket seats in the front; standard speed control on all models; new backlighting of door switches, door locks, windows and power mirror controls and standard automatic temperature control on the Latitude X model.
Available as a stand-alone option on all models for 2011 is the Uconnect® Voice Command with Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music/radio/SIRIUS satellite radio control.
The 2011 Jeep Patriot offers customers more capability than any other vehicle in the compact SUV class. Capability features include low-range mode which generates a best-in-class 19:1 crawl ratio, brake traction control, 19-inch water fording capability, Hill Descent Control, 4x4 Lock shift-on-the-fly which sends 50 percent of torque to front and rear wheels, and a maximum tow rating of 2,000 lbs. The Jeep Patriot also boasts a retuned suspension for 2011, with higher spring and damping rates, added rebound springs, and an increased diameter of the rear sway bar. Io, invece, il Patriot l'ho sempre trovato piacevole. Non bello a causa della sciatteria e poca ricercatezza dell'insieme, ma a differenza alla Compass direi che è tutto sommato apprezzabile.
Mi piace molto il nuovo frontale, che ho sempre trovato abbastanza riuscito nonostante l'aria ebete.

Interni sicuramente migliorati, però continuano a non dirmi assolutamente niente.

Si, assolutamente, il restyling degli interni mi pare sia stato presentato in contemporanea con Caliber e Compass qualche mese fa.
