Lotus Mystery Car Parigi 2010 (Teaser)

Just in time for the summer solstice, Lotus sent out a cryptic message to let us know that the next evolution of the brand will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. No other clues have been revealed, but we're guessing that a number of hints will be dropped over the course of the summer.

There are several possibilities, including the Evora convertible or a supercharged variant of Lotus' 2+2, both of which have been previously confirmed. Considering the Elise is growing long in the tooth and is slated to be replaced in 2012, the third-gen. model could be in the cards. But if we were betting men, we'd put a few bucks on Lotus finally unveiling the all-new Esprit after years of delays. The next Esprit will use a stretched version of the Evora platform and is expected to have V8 power, although it's not clear who will supply it. Regardless of what Lotus unveils, if these are the kind of teaser we can expect, it's going to be a long summer.

Sarei felicissimo se presentassero la nuova Esprit o la Evora spider, ma direi che è più probabile un'evoluzione del loro EREV o dell'Omnivore. Tra l'altro si parla di uscita di produzione del 1.8 sulle Elise/Exige, sostituito dal 1.6.

IMHO cercano di creare hype per una scorreggina che altrimenti passerebbe inosservata...
Una versione più potente della Evora sarebbe la ciliegina sulla torta (anche se dovrebbero pure ribassare i listini).

qualcosa di inaspettato.....allora non puo essere la Esprit o una versione piu potente della Evora perche non sarebbero "inaspettate"
nuova era .... quindi qualcosa mai visto in Lotus
Forse la prima Lotus elettrica o ibrida?? sarebbe una cosa inaspettata e che segue le ultime tentenze dei costruttori di auto sportiva
