La Skoda Superb Wagon è stata sottoposta al Test dell’Alce, dove non ha ben figurato. L’auto non si è ribaltata come la Citroen Nemo, ma il comportamento del retrotreno non è risultato ottimale, in quanto ha perso aderenza tanto da far fuoriuscire i cerchioni dagli pneumatici.

Stando alle dichiarazioni di Skoda, il problema c'è solo sui cerchi da 18" con la gommatura specifica per auto Svedesi: la gommatura con mescola più morbida avrebbe problemi di tenuta su quei cerchioni...

Sembra sia successo sia ad una ruota anteriore ed in un'altra prova a quella posteriore.

Se pure Skoda ammette il problema...

Prof. Dr. Winfried Vahland (53) has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Škoda Auto effective September 1, 2010. His successor as President and CEO of Volkswagen Group China is Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann (49), currently the Group Chief Officer for Electric Traction based in Wolfsburg. Reinhard Jung (59), the incumbent Škoda Chairman, is taking retirement.
Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft, said in Wolfsburg today: “Reinhard Jung has been successful in further developing the traditional Škoda brand. The Group would like to express its sincere appreciation of this achievement and also thank him for his services in previous management functions.” He added that Jung’s successor Winfried Vahland has outstanding experience in managing companies and brands. “Winfried Vahland has been instrumental in making China Volkswagen’s second home market,” Winterkorn underscored. “Karl-Thomas Neumann, too, will break new ground in China – both in terms of business development and as an expert in future technologies.”
Winfried Vahland joined Audi in Ingolstadt in 1990 as Head of Company Planning, Profit Analysis and Sales Controlling. The industrial engineer moved to Wolfsburg in 1993 as Director of Group Controlling. In 1995 he took responsibility for Sales Controlling of the Volkswagen Group and the Volkswagen brand. He was Vice President for Finance and Corporate Strategy at Volkswagen do Brasil from 1997 to 2002. He subsequently moved to Škoda as member of the Board of Directors responsible for Commercial Affairs and was made Vice Chairman in 2003. Vahland took up his present post in July 2005.
Karl-Thomas Neumann studied electrical engineering. His research work at Fraunhofer Institut from 1989 to 1993 specialized in vehicle electronics. He subsequently moved to Motorola Semiconductor as an engineer and head of strategy for the automotive industry. Neumann joined the Volkswagen Group in Wolfsburg in 1999 where he was Head of Electronics Research and Electronics Strategy, later also assuming responsibility for Electrics/Electronics at the Volkswagen brand, before becoming a member of the Executive Board, Automotive Systems Division, at Continental AG in 2004. He was Chairman of the Executive Board of Continental AG from August 2008 to September 2009.
Reinhard Jung studied mechanical engineering and joined the Volkswagen Group in 1974. As a project engineer, he held various management functions before becoming Head of International Production. Having been responsible for various departments in Central Planning in Wolfsburg and Salzgitter, he was given charge of Volkswagen brand production management. He held the post of Plant Manager in Brunswick from 1996 to 2001, and was subsequently named President of Volkswagen de México. Jung was appointed member of the Volkswagen brand Board of Management responsible for Production and Logistics in 2004. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Škoda Auto since October 2007.

quando si dice il troppo successo.....
Indubbiamente Skoda una delle perle gruppo Vw, in 20 anni è passata dall' essere materia di barzellette ad un marchio solido con buoni prodotti ed un ottima redditività ( skoda nel primo trimestre del 2010 ha avuto un margine del 5% con il 2,1% del marchio vw). Purtroppo sembra che skoda stia andando fin troppo bene : in una sfida tra superb e passat su autobild i giornalisti hanno dichiarato vincitrice il modello ceco e ciò ha fatto infuriare il ceo di Volkswagen Winterkorn. Grazie all' octavia e all' inaspettato successo della superb skoda sta pestando i piedi al marchio vw mentre sta colpevolmente lasciando campo libero alla skoda e ai marchi coreani nei segmenti a e b. Il nuovo ceo Vahland ha il compito di dare una nuova missione a skoda distanziandola maggiormente da vw e cercando di abbassare di molto i prezzi d'ingresso.

Perdonate l'ignoranza ma questi test li fanno sempre tutti alla stessa maniera? Ora non mi riferisco precisamente al problema-pneumatico.. però osservavo questa manovra e mi è sembrato di vedere l'auto decisamente impacciata, come se fosse pesantissima e pertanto sottoposta a trasferimenti di carico che la impegnavano al limite (mi sembrava ben più impacciata della media di ciò che ho visto finora). Poi ho notato che a bordo sembrano essere in cinque... ma i test li fan sempre tutti con cinque persone a bordo? A me non pare mica.

Io condivido l'amministratore.. una gomma troppo morbida con assetto morbido tende a impuntarsi sull'asfalto, senza lasciare un pò di sottosterzo o sovrasterzo che eviterebbe lo stallonamento del pneumatico, perchè quest'ultimo dissiperebbe parte della forza del trasferimento di carico strisciando, nei suv, ma nessuno lo fa notare lo stallonamento è un fenomeno più frequente,
Anche a me sembra che su quella vettura siano in almeno 3 persone..
