FCA Bank and DR Automobiles Groupe: a new partnership in financial and mobility services

FCA Bank will deploy a wide range of innovative and flexible financial and mobility services designed to make DR brand cars more accessible.

DR Automobiles Groupe is proving increasingly popular with customers, with a y-o-y growth of over 191% in the first quarter of 2022.

The partnership includes all DR brand models and will be operational in all European countries where DR Groupe is active.

 

DR Automobiles Groupe, an Italian company that began manufacturing cars in 2006, is today engaged in the implementation of a far-reaching and wide-ranging business and commercial plan that resulted in a year-on-year increase in sales of over 191% in the first quarter of 2022. These are the reasons that prompted FCA Bank, on the strength of almost a hundred years of experience in the car financing and mobility sectors, to enter into a strategic partnership with the DR Group, confirming its commitment to the Italian automotive industry, an excellence recognized and appreciated around the world.

These vehicles have enabled the Macchia d'Isernia-based Group to consolidate its position on the market and to grow, thus beginning a journey to the main European markets, thanks also to a network of approximately 5000 dealers under contract with FCA Bank. The rapid expansion that the DR Automobiles Groupe is experiencing has allowed it to carve out a place for itself among the great automotive brands, with prospects for further growth determined by the launch of new models and of 2 new brands in the coming months.

Stellantis, unions agree to further 480 job cuts in Italy

Stellantis is offering an extra incentive of $21,000 to Mirafiori workers who leave the automaker by Sept. 30.

 

MILAN -- Stellantis has agreed with unions that it will cut 480 jobs this year at its Mirafiori facility in Turin through voluntary layoffs, Italy's FIM-CISL union said.

The deal was signed by all major metal workers unions with the exception of the leftist FIOM-CGIL.

Stellantis had already reached a similar accord with unions in February over more than 700 voluntary layoffs, for a total of nearly 1,200 job cuts this year in Italy.

Davide Provenzano, head of FIM-CISL for the Turin area, said on Monday that while the deadline for the voluntary layoffs was the end of the year, there was an extra incentive of 20,000 euros ($21,000) for people who leave the company by Sept. 30.

A spokesperson for Stellantis, which currently employs about 50,000 people in Italy, confirmed the accord over the job cuts, saying the company had no further comment.

In announcing new model allocations in March, Stellantis confirmed it will build a successor to the Fiat New 500 small electric car at the Mirafiori factory. The plant currently builds the Maserati Levante SUV as well as the New 500.

In addition, the factory -- the group’s oldest in Italy, dating to 1939 -- will also get two new Maserati models.

sembra piu una acquisizione di "capacità", inclusi posizionamenti logistici nelle grandi citta e nei punti chiave tipo aereoporti ecc.

Bella domanda, si potrebbe ipotizzare che le due fabbriche producano le eredi dei modelli attualmente in linea. Ma vorrebbe dire impiantare due linee per la piattaforma Large, una per stabilimento, dato che Brampton fa le muscle car e Windsor fa un bestione da 5.20 metri, che dubito "ci starebbe" su Medium. Airflow pertanto potrebbe effettivamente essere made in Canada.

Ma sono tutte mie supposizioni, basate sull'ipotesi che i nuovi modelli sostituiranno direttamente le produzioni precedenti, ma non è scritto da nessuna parte che debba essere così.

E in effetti le tempistiche annunciate stridono un po' con le mie ipotesi: le nuove produzioni partirebbero a Brampton dal 2025, le nuove Dodge grandi non dovrebbero arrivare prima?

Secondo me prima o poi le uniranno, viste le politiche del gruppo non credo vorranno tenere due società che fanno la stessa cosa.

Anche se è un argomento trasversale per tutte le aziende automotive, scrivo qui perchè la collaborazione più stretta in termini di Parco auto aziendale lo abbiamo qui in Austria con Stellantis ( In Italia invece siamo con Vag).

Volevo sapere, magari da qualche insider, come è la situazione componentistica e cosa dobbiamo aspettarci.

 

Io ho i leasing di 10 500X scaduti oramai da 2 mesi e rinnovati mensilmente perchè sostanzialmente non posso ordinare 500X con il minimo di optional che considero indispensabili ( sensori parking posteriori, Navigatore o disposizione per apple e Android auto). Non so quando torneranno nuovamente disponibili. Il tipo che ci segue di Stellantis è un cane (al solito da quelli di Porsche, che ha Audi, vw e Skoda otteniamo decisamente un servizio migliore).

Ho visto sul sito di Fiat che hanno fatto uscire la 500x Cult, sostanzialmente una versione con niente, nemmeno autoradio. Si sa qualcosa?

A livello flotta stellantis ti confermo che c’è un bel caos come disponibilità … la sola buona notizia è che da venerdì arrivano proposte per noleggi per aziende su Tonale mhev e a fine maggio anche diesel.

Tonale ne dobbiamo ordinare 1, stiamo aspettando che aprano gli ordini in Austria. Si sanno già i tempi di attesa? Le versioni mhev che arrivano non sono castrate di roba vero? ( sensori etc)
