TIGUAN

  • Fari a LED
  • Volante multifunzione
  • Sistema di intrattenimento informativo touchscreen da 6,5 pollici
  • Servizi di connettività We Connect e We Connect Plus

LIFE (aggiunge alla precedente)

  • Assistenza luce per abbaglianti
  • Active Cruise Control ACC
  • Barra del tetto longitudinale
  • Climatronic climatizzatore automatico
  • Cerchi in alluminio da 17 pollici

R-LINE (aggiunge alla precedente)

  • Luci a matrice di LED IQ.LIGHT
  • Quadro strumenti da 10 pollici Digital Cockpit
  • Illuminazione ambientale regolabile multicolore
  • Pacchetto invernale (volante riscaldato)

L'autonomia in modalità solo elettrica è pari a 50 km secondo ciclo WLTP.

  • New Tiguan now also available with plug-in hybrid: Tiguan eHybrid02 can reach speeds of up to 130 km/h fully electrically and thus generates zero local emissions
  • New R model: Volkswagen R has developed the most dynamic Tiguan since the debut of the product line – the Tiguan R02
  • New all-wheel drive: 4MOTION system with selective wheel torque control lends the Tiguan R a new level of SUV driving dynamics
  • New infotainment systems: third-generation modular infotainment matrix03 (MIB3) offers the best possible online connectivity for the Tiguan

The Volkswagen Tiguan is Europe’s most successful Sports Utility Vehicle and one of the top-selling SUVs in the world. More than six million units have been produced to date. In 2019, the Tiguan was again the most popular model of the brand and entire Volkswagen Group, with around 911,000 units produced. Volkswagen is now showcasing a comprehensive update of the best-selling vehicle as part of its world premiere. Ralf Brandstätter who has today been appointed the new CEO of the Volkswagen brand: “We launched our global SUV strategy with the second-generation Tiguan in 2016. It served as the basis for many successful models worldwide. Volkswagen is now taking the next step by electrifying, digitalising and networking the new Tiguan. This will equip the compact SUV to handle the challenges of the modern era.”

All key technology on board the bestseller is set to take a significant step forward. Volkswagen is electrifying the Tiguan with a new, state-of-the-art plug-in hybrid drive. The SUV will now also be available as a separate Tiguan R model for the very first time. Volkswagen R’s performance experts have developed a new all-wheel drive with selective wheel torque control for the extremely dynamic, top-of-the-range model. The so called “R-Performance Torque Vectoring” enables totally new SUV driving dynamics by distributing the drive power variably between the front and rear axles as well as the left and right rear wheels.

Volkswagen’s use of twin dosing now ensures that the turbo diesel engines01 (TDI) in the Tiguan are among the cleanest combustion engines in the world. With the new Travel Assist0301 system in the Tiguan, the compact SUV is now capable of assisted driving at speeds up to 210 km/h. The Tiguan also applies the most recent generation of infotainment systems (MIB3) to bring a completely new range of online-based services and functions03 on board. Also new: the optional 480-watt sound system by audio specialist Harman Kardon03.

A new steering wheel generation featuring touch controls03 is also among the highlights of the new Tiguan. Volkswagen has also digitalised the climate control functions by means of touch sliders03 and touch buttons03. And last, but by no means least, the Tiguan’s new IQ.LIGHT – LED matrix headlights03 guide drivers through the night with enhanced convenience.

One of the characteristic, new exterior features of the new Tiguan includes the redesigned front end. Klaus Zyciora, Head of Design for the Volkswagen Group and Chief Designer for the Volkswagen brand: “At the front, Volkswagen’s new SUV radiator grille forges a visual link between the Tiguan and models such as the larger Touareg and the Atlas Cross Sport05 sold in North America. It really lends the new Tiguan a significantly more confident appearance.” The bonnet is more concise in its appearance and the new radiator grille with LED headlights is wider, with the new Volkswagen badge positioned centrally at the front. The eye-catching bumpers have also undergone a makeover. At the rear, the Tiguan lettering is now in a prominent central position below the VW badge.

Like its predecessors, the new Tiguan is versatile. It is a genuine SUV capable of towing loads0301 – a Volkswagen that can handle every motoring situation with aplomb. This is truer than ever, thanks to the new range of drive, assist and infotainment systems on board the Tiguan.

The basic Tiguan version includes elements, such as 17-inch Montana alloy wheels, LED headlights, leather multi-function steering wheel, Premium multi-function display, proactive occupant protection system in combination with Front Assist and the new MIB3 Infotainment system generation’s Composition radio (with eight speakers). Above this is the “Life” specification line. The two top-of-the-range lines in the new Tiguan are “Elegance” and “R-Line”. The more sophisticated equipment lines include additional features as well as assist and convenience systems as standard to either lend the Tiguan an elegant (Elegance) or more sporty appearance (R-Line). New assist systems, such as Travel Assist0304, thanks to which the Tiguan offers assisted driving up to speeds of 210 km/h, provide added convenience and are optionally available. The Tiguan can also be upgraded with numerous optional equipment, such as tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof or towing bracket or the vehicle is always online thanks to the most recent MIB3 Infotainment system generation.

Four engine and gearbox combinations are available from the outset: two petrol engines, the 1.5 TSI generating 96 kW / 130 PS02 featuring 6-speed manual gearbox or a further 1.5 TSI engine with an output of 110 kW / 150 PS (either with 6-speed manual gearbox05 or 7-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG)06). All new Tiguan models equipped with TSI and TDI engines fulfil the requirements of the Euro 6d emission standard. In addition, all such models – regardless of whether they have a petrol or a diesel engine – are equipped with a particulate filter.

Volkswagen will gradually launch more engine, gearbox and model variants on the market over the coming months in addition to the aforementioned engine variants.

The Tiguan has formed a firm part of Volkswagen’s product range since 2007. The compact SUV quickly evolved from newcomer to Volkswagen brand and Volkswagen Group’s most successful model. The Tiguan is among the world’s most popular SUVs and Europe’s most successful SUV with over six million vehicles produced since 2007. Volkswagen is now opening the next chapter of the Tiguan’s success story with a comprehensive technical and visual update.

Press Release R:

  • New: Volkswagen is launching the Tiguan as an R version for the first time with a powerful 320 PS01 turbocharged engine. Price in Germany: 56,703.53 euros02
  • New all-wheel drive: 4MOTION with R-Performance Torque Vectoring provides enhanced driving dynamics
  • Exclusive standard equipment: features such as the premium sport seats developed especially for the Tiguan R and a specific design define the individual character of this sporty SUV

Volkswagen is launching the most powerful Tiguan to date: the Tiguan R. With a power output of 235 kW (320 PS), the SUV accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Featuring a newly developed all-wheel drive system, the Volkswagen with a top speed of 250 km/h fascinates with outstandingly agile and confident handling. The new Tiguan R combines the dynamic performance of a sports car with the variability of a Sport Utility Vehicle. It is now available to order. Price in Germany: 56,703.5302 euros.

The latest generation of the EA888 evo4 – an icon among sporty turbocharged engines (TSI) – is responsible for delivering the SUV’s vehement power. The four-cylinder engine already provides its maximum torque of 420 Nm as low as 2,100 rpm; the TSI maintains this high torque at a constant level up to 5,350 rpm. This power is distributed tofour wheels by the new all-wheel drive system: 4MOTION with R-Performance Torque Vectoring. Volkswagen has implemented a rear final drive with two multiplate clutches for the first time. This system does not just distribute the drive power between the front and rear axles, but also distributes it variably between the left and right rear wheels. With the new all-wheel drive system, Volkswagen has noticeably improved handling agility when cornering in particular. With this system the Tiguan R sets a new benchmark for SUV driving dynamics.

The Tiguan flagship was developed by Volkswagen R. The sporty DNA is not just to be found in the turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive system of the Tiguan R, but also in its extensively customised equipment. Taking the exterior as an example: the standard equipment here includes bumpers in R design with aerodynamic elements in high-gloss black or the car body colour, exterior mirror covers in matt chrome, a unique and also high-gloss black rear diffuser, black wheel housing extensions and 20-inch Misano alloy wheels. And in the interior: the Tiguan R sets itself apart from the other models in the product line with features such as the premium sport seats with integrated head restraints and R logo developed exclusively for this model, a customised Digital Cockpit with integrated lap timer, as well as R-specific decorative trim (Carbon Grey). The decorative trim elements are illuminated via the background lighting. Also illuminated: the R logo in the aluminium front sill panel mouldings. The pedals are made of stainless steel.

The extended technical R equipment includes a powerful 18-inch brake system including blue brake calipers (with R logo at the front), a DCC chassis (with adaptively controlled shock absorbers) lowered by 10 mm, and a driving profile selection enhanced for the Tiguan R with an additional R profile. This particularly sporty mode can be activated directly by means of a blue R button on the new multifunction sports steering wheel. This is also equipped with separate large paddles for manual control of the 7-speed DSG dual clutch gearbox (DQ500). The standard equipment also includes deactivatable ESC as well as a four-branch sports exhaust system. Optionally available: a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovič and 21-inch Estoril alloy wheels. The exterior of the Tiguan R can also be personalised with the Black Style design package; in this case, selected add-on parts are finished in black.

The Tiguan is Europe’s most successful SUV

A Tiguan left the production line every 35 seconds last year – a new record for the product line. The story of this bestselling model began in 2007 with its world premiere at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt. Later that year, the first Tiguan came onto the market. In 2011, Volkswagen unveiled a major update at the Geneva Motor Show. By then, 700,000 units of the Tiguan had already been produced. With the new version, the annual volumes passed the mark of 500,000 units for the first time. The IAA in Frankfurt in September 2015 provided the stage for the world premiere of the second Tiguan generation; the sales launch followed in April 2016. The importance of the product line increased further in 2017 with the debut of an XL version with lengthened wheelbase under the name Allspace. In 2019, one in seven of the 6.18 million Volkswagen cars manufactured was a Tiguan – 910,926 vehicles, to be precise. The annual volumes have therefore increased almost eightfold since the first full year of production.

Press Release eHybrid:

Cita

Volkswagen has kick-started an unprecedented electric mobility offensive and is currently launching numerous new electric and hybrid models. From now on, an electrified variant of the best-selling Tiguan is also available as part of this product offensive. An electric motor on board the new Tiguan eHybrid01 allows most everyday trips to be covered without generating any local emissions. Electric range: up to 50 km (WLTP)03. The Tiguan eHybrid is now available to configure and order. Price in Germany: starting at 42,413.11 euros02.

Electric motor and TSI join forces: In Hybrid mode, the electric motor supports the 1.4-litre TSI engine and acts like an additional booster. In this mode, the Tiguan eHybrid will temporarily also cover stretches fully electrically and thus without generating any local emissions, as so-called recuperation during braking recharges the battery. Consequently, there is enough electrical energy on long journeys to switch off the TSI engine depending on the situation, or support it with additional drive output. Tiguan eHybrid drivers can manually activate GTE mode – here, electric motor and TSI engine join forces, generating particularly dynamic results. Both drive units together generate a maximum system torque of 400 newton metres.

Electric start: the plug-in hybrid drive generates a system power of 180 kW (245 PS) and has been programmed so the Tiguan eHybrid can start in EV mode, provided the battery is sufficiently charged and its temperature is above -10° C.

Suitable for everyday driving – even when only electric: the Tiguan eHybrid01 covers up to 50 kilometres03 in electric mode – enough for almost all everyday trips. Assuming it is consistently charged, the Tiguan eHybrid could also be used as a fully-fledged electric vehicle for the majority of trips throughout the year. And it’s extremely simple. The battery – arranged in the vehicle floor in front of the rear axle – is exclusively charged by AC. It uses a charger with a connector for conventional, domestic sockets with a maximum of 2.3 kW, or with up to 3.6 kW at a charging station or home charging station.

eHybrid available as Life, Elegance and R-Line: the Tiguan eHybrid is available to order as the following three equipment packs: Life, Elegance and R-Line. At a basic price of 42,413.11 euros02 the Life version boasts the following standard features, amongst others: Digital Cockpit (digital instruments with specific e-displays), Air Care Climatronic (three-zone automatic air conditioning) including a new and digitalised control panel, leather multifunction steering wheel with paddles for the 6-speed dual clutch gearbox, ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), Front Assist (Autonomous Emergency Braking), Front and Rear Park Distance Control, 17-inch alloy wheels and roof rails. As a rule, all Tiguan models have also been equipped with features such as Lane Assist (lane keeping system), a mobile phone interface, rain sensor and LED headlights.

Innovative drives for lower CO2 emissions: Volkswagen is committed to the Paris Climate Agreement – with the objective of becoming a carbon-neutral company by 2050. On its “Way to Zero”, Volkswagen has launched an unparalleled electric mobility offensive with new, innovative electric and hybrid models making their debut in many product lines in quick succession.

Fuori un bel passo avanti, soprattutto all'anteriore.
