Beckervdo Posted March 15 Share Posted March 15 Il sistema ibrido plug-in dell'Outlander PHEV è dotato di un motore a benzina a quattro cilindri da 2,4 litri che è responsabile della trazione delle ruote anteriori, fungendo anche da generatore di potenza per i due motori elettrici associati , uno sull'asse anteriore da 85 kW. e un altro nella parte posteriore, da 100 kW, quindi parliamo rispettivamente di 115 CV e 136 CV. Il set sviluppa una potenza massima di 250 CVp. Inoltre, a bordo del nuovo Outlander PHEV è presente anche il pluripremiato sistema di trazione integrale "S-AWC" di Mitsubishi con diverse modalità di guida che consentono di uscire con successo dalle situazioni più complicate. Utilizzando una manopola, il conducente può selezionare la modalità di regolazione della trazione in ogni circostanza - "Normale", "Asfalto", "Ghiaia", "Neve" e "Fango" - a cui se ne aggiungono altre due che corrispondono al funzionamento dell'ibrido sistema "Eco" e "Power" per le fasi di sorpasso . Il nuovo Outlander PHEV si unisce alla gamma di SUV più efficienti in termini di autonomia, utilizzando una batteria agli ioni di litio con una capacità netta di 20 kWh . Molto di più rispetto alla prima generazione che disponeva di 12 kW e 13,8 kWh quando venne sottoposta al relativo restyling quasi dieci anni fa, quindi l'autonomia in modalità elettrica sarà vicina ai 100 chilometri. The improved cargo compartment opening and expanded interior space make it easy to load and unload cargo in a variety of situations, and with 495 litres of load space, there’s now more room for all the essentials of daily life. And if you need more space, with the rear seats reclined (using the easy operation folding lever) volume grows to 1,422 litres with sunroof. Powertrain The New Outlander PHEV has been comprehensively updated to provide a superior offering for customers. Core to its updates is the completely revised PHEV powertrain, extending its EV driving range, delivering the instantaneous acceleration expected from EVs and an improved refinement that brings a quietness to the cabin. The system combines an efficient four-cylinder petrol engine, two high-power motors, and a larger lithium-ion battery pack linked to a shift-by-wire transmission to increase output over the previous generation vehicle by around 40 percent. While the drive battery now has a total capacity of 22.7 kWh meaning the new model can keep driving in EV mode and avoid starting the engine even longer. According to the official WLTP test EV-only mode delivers a range of up to 86km. The front-mounted electric motor produces 85kW/255Nm, while the rear unit delivers 100kW/195Nm but housed in a smaller volume thanks to an integrated motor control unit, simplifying the powertrain’s packaging. Advancements have been made to the D-SUV’s efficiency. The larger battery pack is now able to deliver continuous output 108% higher than the previous generation due to reduced internal resistance of the battery. The new liquid cooled allows the pack to unleash its full potential, ensuring strong starts and maintaining a quiet ride no matter what the conditions. The New Outlander PHEV also benefits from the in heat pump system, reducing power consumption even when the climate control is in operation and contributes to longer EV range, even in cold weather conditions. While the base elements of the combustion engine remain similar to that found in the previous generation; 2,360cc, 16-valve and DOHC, the development team have introduced exhaust gas recirculation, expanded cooling channels and an integrated exhaust manifold integrated to boost fuel efficiency and performance. The 100kW/203Nm unit works seamlessly with the electrified components to deliver an unbroken dynamic experience, with a combined output of 225kW or what is the same, 302 HP, and an increase in the capacity of the fuel tank to 53 litres has expanded the total possible range when combining EV driving with hybrid driving. Based on the official test cycle fuel efficiency of 0.8 litres/100km, emissions of 18g/km and 19g/km of CO2 for 18” and 20” alloy wheels respectively and a total range of 844km*. *Tentative figure Performance from the New Outlander PHEV’s powertrain enriches the driving experience, while making the vehicle even more practical in everyday situations. The increased output means 0-100km/h acceleration is now far swifter at 7.9 seconds, for easier motorway merging for example. Three drive modes help maximise efficiency and performance: EV mode, Series Hybrid mode, and Parallel Hybrid mode. Each designed to optimise the driving experience depending on the situation. EV mode: using pure electric power in low/middle speed scenarios Series Hybrid mode: engine generates electricity when needed, for example during uphill acceleration Parallel Hybrid mode: the electric motor and engine work in unison, during high-speed cruising The driver can also manually control how the vehicle uses the onboard power through four easily selectable options: Normal: automatically optimises EV/Hybrid drive EV: pure EV drive (when battery charge is sufficient) Save: prioritises maintaining battery charge level Charge: recharges the battery The uprated PHEV powertrain means that the New Outlander remains in all-electric mode even when the driving style is more enthusiastic at speeds of up to 135km/h, and drivers are assured of sufficient driving range even when using the air conditioner, while at the same time helping to reduce the frequency of charging. But when it is time to charge the New Outlander PHEV, users can choose from the convenience and efficiency of domestic options or use higher power public infrastructure with both a Type 2 and CHAdeMO connections built-in to the vehicle. And for extra piece of mind, a locking function is included that means users can feel safe while charging at a public charging point. And helping to make the New Outlander PHEV a complete part of the user’s life, it’s compatible with vehicle-to-home charging, so you can feed power between the home and vehicle when needed. Chassis and driveline The New Outlander PHEV gives incredible driving confidence to whoever is behind the steering wheel. The multilink design includes lightweight, high-rigidity aluminium knuckles at the front and rear, reduced weight with high rigidity achieved through the use of a hollow stabiliser and forged aluminium for the front lower arm and rear upper arm. The suspension also integrates a hydraulic-type front lower arm bush for a higher quality ride and a cross member that serves as anti-vibration support to provide a smoother ride. The enhancements to the New Outlander PHEV’s chassis extend to braking performance. The D-SUV uses larger brake discs then the previous generation to give it increased stopping power. Reduced braking effort and a safer, more reliable feeling during high-speed driving are all achieved with 350mm ventilated discs both front and rear mounted in the vehicle’s 18” or 20” alloy wheels. Another way to maximise safety. The New Outlander PHEV’s functionality also helps when towing with Trailer Stability Assist. The system continuously monitors the swaying of the trailer and applies the brakes to one or more of the car’s wheels when necessary.
