Quest'anno è partito un programma pilota di Mazda EU, in cui le CX-60 e CX-80 3.3 Diesel saranno adattate all'uso di gasolio HVO100. In questo modo, Mazda punta ad allungare i tempi di permanenza del suo diesel sul suolo europeo. L'obiettivo è testare una flotta di vetture, per ora in terra polacca, per percorrere almeno 40mila km e valutare la resa del gasolio HVO sul motore revisionato. Se i risultati saranno quelli attesi, entrerà in essere la compatibilità.
