  4. GERALDINE INGHAM MANAGING DIRECTOR, RANGE ROVER Announcing the next stage in its modern luxury electrification journey, the first fully electric vehicle from Range Rover will amplify its modern luxury credentials. Its exemplary British design remains distinctive and unwavering, while its go-anywhere capability will ensure towing, wading and all-terrain technology surpass any other luxury electric SUV. THOMAS MÜLLER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, PRODUCT ENGINEERING, JLR Range Rover Electric will deliver performance comparable to a flagship Range Rover V8 and the all-terrain capability developed in-house by Land Rover experts that has been a hallmark since Range Rover’s inception in 1970. Physical prototype testing is under way, as engineers target the quietest and most refined Range Rover ever created, with a unique active road noise cancellation configuration, sound design and level of cabin comfort. After a year of virtual development spanning front-end robustness, multi-body systems analysis that considers the demand on the chassis, and virtual wading at up to 50km/h, the first physical vehicles have been built. Global on-road testing has started, from Sweden to Dubai, in temperatures ranging from -40C to +50C. The global physical testing programme has been adapted for Range Rover’s first fully electric vehicle to ensure robustness of the electric drive system, including its underfloor, battery durability, chassis integrity and vehicle dynamics tests for thermal derating. New Range Rover Electric will be designed, engineered and built in the United Kingdom, on the flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) in Solihull, alongside existing mild and plug-in hybrid Range Rover vehicles. For the first time, batteries and EDUs will be built and assembled at JLR’s new Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, as Range Rover electrifies ahead of its 2039 net-zero carbon ambition. NOTES TO EDITORS 1 Always check route and exit before wading 2 Towing will substantially affect EV range

The P300e plug-in electric hybrid enables clients to complete their average daily journeys in EV mode, with zero tailpipe emissions*. It is capable of up to 62km (39 miles) of electric-only driving according to the WLTP cycle, with new battery chemistry ensuring improved real-world range of up to 48km (30 miles)4. Every P300e features rapid DC charging capability as standard, for fast top-ups. A further choice of Ingenium petrol and diesel Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) engines provide a comprehensive range of refined, fuel-efficient powertrain options13. CAPTIVATING DESIGN New Range Rover Evoque features a subtle evolution of its reductive exterior design, with unmistakable hallmarks including its coupe-like silhouette, floating roof, continuous waistline and flush deployable door handles. The latest family grille design now provides a unified look across the Range Rover brand. The exterior design is accentuated by new super-slim headlamps with the latest Pixel LED1 technology, featuring a jewel-like effect, crystal clear vision and complemented by chiseled new daytime running light graphics. PROF GERRY MCGOVERN OBE CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER, JLR Design sophistication and innovation work in harmony with a redesigned interior. A clean centre console design features a tactile new gear shifter for automatic transmission models, while Pivi Pro2 infotainment is accessed via a crisp new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen, from which clients can seamlessly control key vehicle functions. The cabin is made even more inviting with a panoramic roof16 – which bathes the cabin in natural light – and the availability of tactile leather-free textile options. Reductive new centre console design and tactile new gear shifter. Range Rover Evoque is the only SUV in its class available with KvadratTM 3 wool blend fabric** - a luxurious, tactile and contemporary alternative to leather. Tactility with a contemporary twist is provided by the leather-free KvadratTM 3 wool blend and Ebony perforated Ultrafabrics™ seating, with polyurethane textile inserts featuring a distinctive new perforation. Inspired by bespoke tailoring, the wool blends are 58 per cent lighter than leather and provide a contemporary appearance and tactility. The innovative textile is the subject of extensive in-house durability testing in the Range Rover materials lab. To ensure it provides longevity and robustness, the materials go through 60,000 cycles of abrasion testing – the equivalent of 10 years of use – with UV testing that simulates three years’ exposure to harsh sunlight in just one month. Sophisticated new detailing and traditional leather. Innovative material options are available in addition to traditional leathers, while sophisticated new detailing – including Moonlight Chrome found on the steering wheel, centre console trim and air vents – provides a new air of refinement. Moonlight Chrome complements new trim finishers, which include Technical Light Anodised or Dark Anodised Aluminium (depending on model), with Shadow Grey Ash Veneer providing an elegant finish on Range Rover Evoque Autobiography. The Range Rover Evoque’s colour palette now features Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue and Corinthian Bronze, while contrast roof options enable clients to express their individuality, with Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze to choose from. Its exterior character is enhanced further with a total of eight alloy wheel designs up to 21 inches in size6 and five new finishes, with diamond-turned offered on the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography and Dynamic HSE. CONNECTED TECHNOLOGY Following its introduction on the New Range Rover Velar, the Range Rover Evoque features the latest generation Pivi Pro2 infotainment technology. Controlled via an elegant new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen, all major vehicle functions are incorporated into the new display, which appears to float seamlessly within the centre console. Controls for the climate, seating and audio volume are always visible via new sidebars, featuring multi-functional sliding controls on either side. These virtual buttons provide immediate access to frequently used items, including individual temperature controls for the front occupants, cameras, navigation and audio volume. At the beginning of every journey, drivers are presented with a Pre-Drive panel for fast access to commonly used features, such as window demisters and heated seats. Once on the move, it disappears to reveal the familiar three-panel home screen that can be customised with trademark Pivi Pro2intelligence and flexibility. New floating 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen offers full digital control over key vehicle functions. The next-generation infotainment was the subject of extensive testing and development, both digitally and physically with human testers, to reduce task and interaction time and deliver the most user-friendly experience possible. Approximately 80 per cent of tasks can be performed within two taps of the home screen. Pivi Pro2 supports effortless smartphone connectivitywith Wireless Apple CarPlay™8. Wireless Android Auto® is also supported, while Wireless Device Charging – from a new stowage area in the centre console – provides immediate fast charging and reduces the need for wires. New Range Rover Evoque is also Wi-Fi Enabled with a Data Plan9, ensuring occupants remain entertained and connected. Pivi Pro2 features twin embedded eSIM technology and cloud-based architecture, meaning it provides full access to a range of online apps9 – including Spotify and Deezer – integrated within the infotainment system. Amazon Alexa10 brings a new level of convenience, providing the ability to control various settings and features using natural voice commands while reducing the potential for distraction. Alexa is embedded in Pivi Pro2 and can simply be activated by saying “Alexa” or tapping the Alexa button on the touchscreen. Range Rover Evoque also offers one of the most sophisticated suites of camera technologies in its class** with 3D Surround View, ClearSight Ground ViewTM 18 and ClearSight Interior Rear ViewTM 19 offering greater driver reassurance. SUPERIOR REFINEMENT Customary Range Rover refinement is provided by advanced technologies that promote comfort and wellbeing, in addition to a comprehensive range of curated options packs. New Range Rover Evoque aims to provide the healthiest cabin environment possible, with one of the most sophisticated interior air quality technologies in its class**. Cabin Air Purification Plus is available for the first time on Evoque and an enhancement on the previous system. Available as part of the optional Comfort Pack, or standard on Autobiography, it features PM2.5 Filtration and CO2 Management which helps to promote wellbeing for the whole family, as well as heighten alertness for the driver by monitoring and controlling CO2 levels inside the cabin. It is activated by pressing the Purify button on the Air Quality page within Pivi Pro2 and works to reduce the level of allergens or particulates inside the vehicle. It uses nanoeTM X technology to combat pathogens and help significantly reduce odours, bacteria and allergens, while the Air Quality Index (AQI) app technology allows clients to monitor outside air quality at their location and their destination on screen.15 Enhanced visibility at night is provided by new Pixel LED Headlights with Signature Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)1. Standard on Dynamic HSE and Autobiography, the new system features three times as many LEDs as the previous Matrix LED headlights. Each headlight features four pixel modules, containing 67 precisely controlled LEDs. They accurately adapt to the road conditions ahead to provide the optimum forward beam. Dynamic Bend Lighting uses speed and steering data to respond to the road ahead and illuminate dark corners and verges, while the high beam range can focus light almost half a kilometre in front, for optimum visibility. Able to cast shadows around four oncoming objects and avoid dazzling, Adaptive Driving Beam automatically adapts to vehicle speed, casting a wide beam at low speeds and a more intense, longer beam above 70km/h (43mph). ELECTRIFIED PERFORMANCE New Range Rover Evoque continues to offer a range of plug-in electric hybrid and mild hybrid electric power, delivering fuel-efficiencies and performance. This includes the advanced P300e plug-in electric hybrid, available alongside a range of Ingenium petrol and diesel engines which all feature the latest Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology to boost efficiency and responses13. The P300e electric hybrid offers clients the best of all worlds, enabling Range Rover Evoque drivers to complete their average daily journeys* with zero tailpipe emissions, thanks to an electric-only range of up to 62km (39 miles) from its 14.9kWh battery. The electric hybrid powertrain combines an efficient three-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with an 80kW electric motor, providing a total power output of 309PS, 0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds (0-60mph in 6.1 seconds). Updated battery chemistry offers an improved real-world driving experience, with an expected real-world electric range of up to 48km (30 miles). On longer journeys, this means a total real-world range of up to 651km (404 miles) with CO2 emissions from 31g/km.4 Rapid DC charging is standard on the Evoque P300e, ensuring swift charges away from home in as little as 30 minutes***, meaning the next electric-only drive is only a short charge away. Using a 7kW home charger, 0-100% charge can be completed in around two hours11. Advanced mild-hybrid electric (MHEV) petrols and diesels complete the line-up. The technology enhances efficiency and responsiveness by using a Belt integrated Starter Generator (BiSG) to harvest energy that is normally lost under braking and deceleration. It is stored in a 48-volt lithium-ion battery beneath the loadspace and is redeployed when accelerating, delivering a more refined operation of the fuel-saving start-stop system. Trademark Range Rover engagement and composure on all terrains is provided by advanced chassis technologies. Adaptive Dynamics – where fitted12 – ensures suspension stiffness is optimised for the driving conditions, improving ride comfort and handling. There’s even a specific calibration for off-road driving, while altering driving parameters via the Configurable Dynamics system delivers exceptional performance and agility on-road. Supreme all-terrain breadth of capability is guaranteed by the intelligent torque on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD) system, providing the optimum torque distribution to suit the conditions, whether driving dynamically on the road or pulling away from a standstill on slippery surfaces. Terrain Response 2® is accessible through Pivi Pro2 and allows the driver to adjust vehicle settings to suit the driving environment, with a choice of Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic and Automatic mode. 13. Infografiche e Tecnica: Sketches: Press Release: THIERRY BOLLORÉ CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, JAGUAR LAND ROVER DESIGN IN DETAIL The sophisticated exterior is unmistakably Range Rover Sport with taut surfacing, a dynamic stance and instantly recognisable profile, perfectly accentuated by stealth-like detailing and muscular proportions – giving the impression the vehicle is poised and ready. Dramatic proportions accentuate the Range Rover Sport’s distinctive character, with short overhangs, an assertive front-end and steeply raked glazing at the front and back. These trademark elements provide a strong and imposing road presence that communicate power and performance. The sculpted exterior is detailed with exquisite finishes such as a stealth-like front grille and Digital LED lighting units, which create a distinctive Daytime Running Light (DRL) signature. The eye-catching designs, the slimmest ever fitted to a Land Rover, sit above a sculpted, double-aperture lower bumper that incorporates a horizontal bisecting body-colour element that creates greater visual width, enhanced by black detailing. Perfectly honed design elements are echoed at the rear, incorporating a sculpted tailgate with a full-width feature bearing the Range Rover script. Uninterrupted LED light graphics introduce surface LED technology to a production vehicle for the first time, providing a crisp and contemporary look at night that is vivid and consistent when viewed from any angle. A characteristic shoulder line runs the length of the vehicle, accentuated by new lower fender details and the longest spoiler ever fitted to a Range Rover. The clean lines of the exterior are enhanced by beautifully executed flush glazing and door handles, a hidden waist rail finisher and laser-welded roof for a precise, technical and sophisticated appearance. These design-enabling technologies contribute to excellent aerodynamic performance, with New Range Rover Sport delivering a drag coefficient of just 0.29. The new Dynamic model brings an even sharper focus to the performance SUV’s purposeful character with unique exterior design elements. Satin Grey alloy wheels are joined by Satin Burnished Copper finishes for the bonnet louvres and side ingots while the front grille and Range Rover lettering are finished in Matte Graphite Atlas. With unique front and rear bumpers and bespoke lower cladding finished in body colour, the Dynamic delivers the most dramatic interpretation of the Range Rover Sport formula. PROF GERRY MCGOVERN OBE CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER, RANGE ROVER New Range Rover Sport’s reductive design extends to its all-new interior, which features the trademark Range Rover Command Driving Position, the latest technologies and the finest materials, which combine for a compelling balance of sartorial elegance and visceral desire. The cockpit-like cabin sets the tone for the dynamic driving experience, providing excellent visibility while simultaneously cocooning the driver with a high, sloping centre console and intuitive technologies. Innovative and sustainable material choices include tactile and lightweight Ultrafabrics™ premium textiles finished in attractive new Duo Tone colourways, while a unique textile option that extends to the dashboard and door detailing is also available. Alternatives include luxurious grained, Windsor or soft Semi-Aniline leather options. These tactile materials seamlessly blend with new Moonlight Chrome interior finishers while elements like the integrated audio speakers, developed with Meridian and hidden behind the textile of the rear doors, contribute to the clean, crisp and modern aesthetic. ENGAGING ON EVERY JOURNEY New Range Rover Sport introduces more advanced chassis technologies than ever before, providing a comprehensive dynamic toolkit for the most engaging and dynamically capable driving experience. The inherent stiffness and strength of the flexible mixed-metal architecture (MLA-Flex) – which provides up to 35 per cent higher torsional stiffness than the previous Range Rover Sport – lays the foundations for this technology. It harmoniously works with a suite of systems governed by the Integrated Chassis Control system – all specially tuned for New Range Rover Sport. NICK COLLINS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR VEHICLE PROGRAMMES, JAGUAR LAND ROVER New Dynamic Response Pro works hand-in-hand with the latest generation Dynamic Air Suspension, which introduces switchable-volume air springs for the first time. Dynamic Response Pro provides ultimate roll control via a 48-volt electronic active roll control system, capable of applying up to 1,400Nm of torque across each axle, for a confidence-inspiring driving experience and new levels of body control and cornering composure. Dynamic Air Suspension is fitted to every New Range Rover Sport and the intelligent system enhances the bandwidth of the suspension. This works by varying the pressure within the chambers (higher pressure provides stiffer damping) to deliver traditional Range Rover comfort with the dynamic handling expected from the Range Rover Sport. To optimise responses, the vehicle monitors the road ahead using eHorizon navigation data to pre-emptively prime for upcoming bends. Adaptive Dynamics 2 technology contributes to dynamic capability by continuously controlling the Active Twin Valve Dampers to reduce unwanted body movements. It monitors external factors up to 500 times per second to deliver the perfect responses and, in harmony with the other chassis technologies, delivers the most precise and composed driving dynamics of any Range Rover Sport. New Range Rover Sport’s cornering agility is taken to a new level with All-Wheel Steering, Torque Vectoring by Braking and the Electronic Active Differential. All-Wheel Steering provides rear-wheel steering of up to 7.3 degrees out of phase with the front wheels to achieve enhanced agility and manoeuvrability at low speeds, while turning in-phase for superior stability at high speeds. This gives New Range Rover Sport the turning circle of a hatchback and on-road agility of a much smaller car. The very best of the New Range Rover Sport’s chassis systems combine in the Stormer Handling Pack, which includes Dynamic Response Pro, All-Wheel Steering, the Electronic Active Differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking and Configurable Programs. The latter provides the opportunity to personalise the driving modes, tailoring the driving experience both on and off road. All elements of this pack are standard on P510e Electric Hybrid and P530 powertrains. All New Range Rover Sport models are fitted with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, which intuitively anticipates where traction is required, efficiently engaging to provide the most effective progress in all conditions, while optimising efficiency. A second nanoeTM X device is fitted to the second row to provide consistent air quality throughout the cabin. An advanced CO2 Management function allows owners to purify the cabin before a journey, or while they are driving – ensuring increased alertness for every drive, and enhanced wellbeing for all occupants. Powerful Meridian audio options are available, and the Meridian Signature Sound System is the most advanced and powerful audio system ever fitted to a Range Rover Sport. It presents an enveloping sound experience using 29 speakers, a new subwoofer and up to 1,430W of amplifier power – including four headrest speakers that enable those travelling in the four main seats of the vehicle to experience personal sound zones. Next generation Active Noise Cancellation2 plays its part here, reducing the effect of road and tyre noise entering the cabin for ultimate cabin refinement or to allow occupants to enjoy the undiluted soundtrack provided by New Range Rover Sport’s powertrain. This experience is heightened when the vehicle is in the Dynamic driving mode, when the advanced system brings the engine sounds to the fore. In normal driving, microphones and accelerometers inside each wheel arch constantly monitor the sounds passing into the vehicle, while digital processors calculate the level of noise-cancelling sound required to filter this from the cabin – much like a pair of high-end headphones. Instinctive convenience contributes to the sense of modern luxury and New Range Rover features Deployable Door Handles with Proximity Sensing, Soft Door Close and Approach Unlock, for effortless entry to the vehicle while preserving the clean lines of the exterior. Automated Walkaway Lock ensures security is guaranteed. Press Release: GERRY MCGOVERN CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER, JAGUAR LAND ROVER SOPHISTICATED DESIGN The distinct character and optimised proportions of New Discovery embrace more than three decades of design evolution. Discovery DNA design cues – including the clamshell bonnet, the stepped roof and the highly visible C-pillar – remain, but New Discovery delivers a bold exterior evolution optimised to project a more confident road presence. New signature LED headlights with a daytime running light signature set lower into the units create a more purposeful look, while animated sweeping front and rear indicators provide heightened visual sophistication and the body-colour front fender vent accentuates the premium SUV’s familiar broken waistline. A revised front bumper features a wider body-coloured graphic and new side vents combine for a more purposeful and dynamic appearance. At the rear, New Discovery features new signature LED lights, which are joined across the back of vehicle by a new Gloss Black panel. Following Land Rover’s reductive design philosophy, this panel incorporates the trademark Discovery script, providing a cleaner rear graphic. The new R-Dynamic model brings a more assertive character and purposeful stance with a series of unique design elements, including purposeful Gloss Black and Shadow Atlas exterior accents on the outside and two-tone leather and contrast seat stitching on the inside. CONNECTED TECHNOLOGIES Inside, New Discovery benefits from enhancements designed to highlight the premium position and craftsmanship of its full-size seven-seat layout, with a spacious cabin incorporating Land Rover’s cutting edge Pivi Pro infotainment. A completely redesigned centre console houses its 48% larger 11.4-inch, full HD touchscreen, which provides a fast and intuitive interface. With a simplified menu structure and pioneering design, Pivi Pro provides immediate responses – even when starting the vehicle for the first time. Its built-in back-up battery means navigation initialisation takes just seconds, while the logical menus allow the most commonly used functions to be accessed directly from the customisable home screen, to reduce driver distraction. Connectivity is provided by dual-sim technology, with two LTE modems enabling the system to carry out multiple functions at the same time – such as streaming media and downloading Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates – without compromising performance. Land Rover’s SOTA technology allows owners to update as many as 44 individual electronic modules, without the inconvenience of visiting a retailer. In combination with the 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display†, New Discovery provides high-definition 3D mapping within the instrumentation, leaving the central touchscreen free to control other applications. The high-resolution digital instruments can be configured to show a pair of conventional dials, full-screen 3D navigation guidance or a combination of the two, allowing drivers to customise the view to suit their preference. In addition, customers have the option of a full-colour Head-Up Display, putting high-resolution driving information directly into the driver’s eyeline, removing the need to look away from the road ahead. Smartphone integration is also simple, thanks to Apple CarPlay, while the advanced Bluetooth technology can connect two smartphones simultaneously. Android Auto is also available as standard, as well as wireless charging with signal boosting technology. Passenger comfort is supported by Cabin Air Ionisation, now available with PM2.5 air filtration* technology. It actively scans incoming air, measuring its quality and automatically uses advanced filters to reduce the level of allergens, toxins and harmful particulates in the cabin, enhancing driver wellbeing. Comfort and convenience are further enhanced by the introduction of Land Rover’s Click and Go tablet holders, incorporated into the front seatbacks. The easy-to-use system also includes USB-A charging sockets that are perfectly located to minimise trailing wires. Using the onboard 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, which is capable of linking up to eight devices, rear passengers can be entertained on even the longest journeys. Up front, the new-look four-spoke steering wheel features hidden-until-lit switches and metal gearshift paddles while a tactile new gear selector provides instinctive control of the powertrain. VERSATILITY AT ITS HEART First-rate family versatility is a hallmark of the Discovery SUV family and the spacious and intelligent New Discovery is no exception. Its optional hands-free Gesture Tailgate†† can detect the wave of a foot beneath the rear bumper to open the boot while the Powered Inner Tailgate restrains loose items in the huge 2,485-litre loadspace (5 seats) and doubles as a handy bench. Even with seven seats in use, the boot provides 258 litres of luggage space and all occupants have somewhere to charge electronic devices Inside, Intelligent Seat Fold technology allows customers to effortlessly configure the seating layout using the central touchscreen, while Remote app technology lets customers keep tabs on the fuel status and location of their vehicle and even unlock and lock the doors. In the back, the second-row seats have been carefully redesigned for enhanced comfort. Improved lateral support, longer thicker cushions and careful seat profiling all contribute to greater under-thigh support and improved posture for occupants. Comfort is further improved by the relocation of the second row air-vents from the B-pillars to the centre console, providing increased airflow to second-row passengers who have their own hidden-until-lit ventilation controls and power supplies. Land Rover’s new second-generation Activity Key is also available. It features touchscreen controls, a digital watch and can lock, unlock and start the vehicle as an addition to the conventional fob. New Discovery is available in Discovery, S, SE and HSE trim levels, in sporty R-Dynamic guise or as a practical Commercial model with a 2,024-litre cargo area, additional underfloor stowage lockers and the same maximum 3,500kg towing capacity** as the rest of the range. ADVANCED POWERTRAINS New Discovery introduces a trio of new straight-six Ingenium engines, both petrol and diesel, featuring 48V Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology for enhanced efficiency, performance and smoothness. The new engines are available alongside Land Rover’s four-cylinder P300 Ingenium petrol powertrain and with a new Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. The straight-six engine family was designed and developed in-house and the advanced diesel is available in 249PS (183kW) and 300PS (221kW) outputs, while the powerful petrol delivers 360PS (265kW). Intelligent 48V MHEV technology ensures the new engines meet the most stringent global emissions regulations and deliver improved responses. The clever system harvests and stores energy generated during deceleration, and redeploys it to assist the engine when accelerating, providing six-cylinder performance and four-cylinder efficiency. The set-up also delivers more refined operation of the Stop/Start system. BREADTH OF CAPABILITY New Discovery is the ultimate family-friendly SUV for the road, delivering unrivalled, exceptional long-haul comfort for seven people and a confidence-inspiring environment for the driver thanks to the excellent visibility provided by its Command Driving Position, enhanced controls and cutting-edge chassis technology, which deliver composed and responsive road holding. All New Discovery models with six-cylinder Ingenium engines feature an advanced driveline which optimises the torque split between front and rear axles, using a range of sensors to distribute torque to suit the conditions. The new Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system maximises traction, on-road dynamics and driveline efficiency, resulting in improved fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions in normal driving, with no compromise to Discovery’s trademark all-terrain capability. In addition, standard air suspension provides cosseting ride comfort in all environments and features automatic speed lowering to improve aerodynamic efficiency and enhance economy when cruising on motorways. Adaptive Dynamics damper technology – fitted to all models – monitors vehicle movements up to 500 times a second, reacting to driver or road inputs almost instantaneously for greater body control, ensuring a composed, flat ride. With Terrain Response 2 technology, New Discovery is always automatically primed to suit the driving conditions while the new Wade Mode optimises the vehicle for deep water fording – even applying the brakes automatically when the driver disengages Wade Mode, to restore full performance from the first application of the brakes. The availability of Configurable Terrain Response allows drivers to fine-tune the Discovery’s throttle mapping, gearbox shift points, steering and suspension settings to suit their preferences and requirements, so customers can personalise the driving experience for off-road driving. MIKE CROSS LAND ROVER CHIEF ENGINEER, VEHICLE INTEGRITY New Discovery also benefits from ClearSight Ground View technology, providing drivers with a view of the obscured ground directly beneath the front of the vehicle using the central touchscreen and a combination of forward-facing cameras. The clever feature is the realisation of Land Rover’s futuristic transparent bonnet concept and supports the driver when negotiating steep off-road inclines or hidden urban obstacles.
