To be honest I think the project was done before 1986, probably in 1982-83. In the IDEA brochure it was described as a project for a multi-shape vehicle developed by IDEA for Alfa Romeo. The engine and mechanics came from the Alfasud. It was designed for young people to use in town, on the beach or in the countryside. Built on the flat platform the Barbie vehicle can change shape using easily made materials at low cost.
Also the patent (by Alfa Romeo Spa) of the flat chassis was registered on February 13th of 1986. It means that the flat chassis was developed long time before the application date. This low-res picture from the brochure shows the flat chassis and two variants of the car, both designed by IDEA.

Dal tipo 2, per esattezza.
Che ha avuto tre revisioni
Tipo 2 Rev 1 : Tipo, Tempra, Dedra, 145/6 e 155 prima serie, Delta II prima serie.
Tipo 2 Rev 2 : 145/6 e 155 seconda serie, Bravo/a, Marea, Coupe, Delta II seconda serie, GtV/Spider *
Tipo 2 Rev 3: 156, 147, GT, Lybra**
* con sospensioni posteriori mlink
** con MacP anteriore e BLD posteriore.
Just curious what is the difference between Tipo 2 and Tipo3?
Also could you explain what mods the platform received from Rev 1 to Rev 2? I am really excited to know them!

I motori (vecchi) catalizzati?
Eh, ho capito.
It resembles me LuAZ 1301 from 1988

3 zero incentives to purchase.
I am always curious to know if without these advantages how much appeal would remain, if they had to play on equal terms with thermals.
I can tell you. In Canada, Saskatchewan, where electric car owners pay taxes ($150 per year) because they do not contribute for the road infrastructure through petrol taxes there are only 400 electric cars. The total quantity of the cars in the province is 1.4 mln

ma perché sempre e solo elettriche queste cose?
Because they do not have knowledge of building of cars with the internal combustion engines. I built electric powered scale model cars when I was 8 years old. The same example is here.

Just open two videos (Amg and Stelvio) and try to compare. First, Mercedes had a lap approximately 75 meters shorter and the timer started when speed of the car was 120 km/h. Stelvio timer started approximately at 50 km/h (1.5sec from standstill start). Also as I understand the paving was renewed, better asphalt.

Do you really like the Linea Accessori? the stickers? I understand that Fiat cannot probably change how the Mazda's chain works, but if it was possible at the an old style Maggiora (ex-Lancia) factory in Chivasso where the barchetta was assembled that was, I really can't understand how it can't be possible in a modern and technological factory in Japan where everything is supposed to work perfectly.
As you have the chance to choose the body colour you should have the same option for seats (on the 124 you can actually choose between black and leather) and the top, we aren't talking about a tiny component.
I agree with you about body and upholstery colors. The selection is limited. Might be not limited, but the colors are not the best
But if you look at accessories, they are almost equal to period Barchetta (hardtop, fog lights, electric mirrors, central lock, wind deflector, language rack, travel bags, light alloy wheels, chrome exhaust pipe, steering wheel in leather, radio, metal pedals, leather seats)

I think it is almost impossible to do from the supply chain point of view, as to customize the car takes a long time. However FIAT provides good variety of items in Linea Accessori, that should compensate lack of standard options.

Just because 124 is Japanese car, made in Japan. It has amazing customization for car made in Asia. Japan made cars are very limited in customization, so just be happy you got even 2-3 color options
