  3. Non c'è Colorado senza Canyon, ed ecco infatti anche il cugino a marchio GMC!

    Uno stile ancora più duro, enfatizzato dal frontale con faro sdoppiato, probabile nuovo segno distintivo del brand americano che potremmo vedere anche sul prossimo Acadia.

    Gli allestimenti, rispetto allo Chevrolet, sono di meno e si differenziano in AT4 (bianco), AT4X (rosso e nuova introduzione votata all'offroad più difficile) e Denali (nero) l'immancabile variante più lussuosa.

    AT4X, in particolare, offre 272 mm di altezza da terra e angoli di avvicinamento, partenza e breakover di 36,9, 25 e 24,5 gradi.

    Il motore è sempre il 2.7 Turbo a 4 cilindri ma qui è presente soltanto nella versione più prestante con 310 cv e 582 Nm, su tutti gli allestimenti proposti.

    Gli interni ricalcano quelli visi su Chevrolet, ma qui troviamo ancora più ricercatezza specie nel Denali, dotato di quadro strumenti digitale più grande da 11 pollici, sedili anteriori in pelle riscaldati e ventilati e volante riscaldato. Completano il quadro anche finiture in legno a poro aperto incise al laser, inserti stilizzati sul cruscotto e un sistema audio Bose a sette altoparlanti,  display head-up da 6,3 pollici e il cruise control adattivo.

    DETROIT – The official vehicle of nowhere is here: the 2023 GMC Canyon midsize truck. Boasting a fully redesigned exterior with a standard factory lift and widened track across the lineup, a new premium suite of advanced technology and an all-new interior design, the next-generation Canyon is built from the ground up to conquer any terrain.

    The 2023 model year Canyon introduces the first-ever Canyon AT4X option to its lineup. Building on the success of AT4, the AT4X sub-brand is the ultimate expression of GMC’s commitment to delivering serious off-road capability. First introduced on the 2022 Sierra, the AT4X trim has quickly become synonymous with robust off-road credibility.

    The 2023 GMC Canyon will be the first midsize truck on the market to offer a suite of segment-first key features, including:

    Introducing Canyon AT4X

    Canyon AT4X is purposefully engineered to be a premium, no-compromises, off-road midsize truck. With a higher factory lift than every other Canyon trim, Canyon AT4X offers serious off-road equipment and advanced technology for enhanced capability and convenience — no matter the destination.

    Inspired by the Canyon AT4 concept first introduced in 2021, the Canyon AT4X boasts a factory lifted, ultra-wide track to elevate the off-road performance and capability. Canyon AT4X comes standard with 33-inch MT tires, Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear e-lockers, underbody skid plates and the AT4X-exclusive Baja drive mode.

    Elevated Exterior and Interior Design

    The 2023 GMC Canyon features an all-new look, emphasized by its bold stance, aggressive exterior styling and elevated interior.

    Each 2023 Canyon trim sits higher and wider than its previous generation, providing improved approach, departure and breakover angles. For this new generation of Canyon, the front air dam was removed for elevated approach angle while the front axle was moved forward for improved proportions and a more planted, level stance. A simplified short bed, crew cab configuration comes standard across the 2023 Canyon lineup.

    The 2023 Canyon’s exterior is pronounced by its high clearance, trimmed corners and the all-new integration of sheet metal for a completely unique look. The front fascia features full LED exterior lighting, relocated fog lights and daytime running lights. The 2023 model year also introduces an available sunroof — a first for the midsize truck.

     

    GMC CANYON DENALI EXTERIOR

     

    Under the vehicle, the Canyon AT4X includes a large front heavy-duty AT4X skid plate, a transfer case shield and rocker protectors to tackle the most rugged terrains. The 2023 Canyon also introduces a water-tight tailgate storage system for increased bed functionality.

    On its interior, the 2023 Canyon delivers premium appointments and intentional design executions to evoke premium craftmanship and precision. Across the lineup, no one interior is the same. Each Canyon trim is designed with its own unique identity. The Canyon Denali trim is outfitted with laser etched wood décor and leather appointments, while Canyon AT4X boasts the signature, trim-exclusive, Obsidian Rush interior with Ceramic White accents.

  4. Il mercato dei pick-up di taglia media è in forte crescita in America ed era anche ora che General Motors aggiornasse il suo Colorado, per capirci concorrente di Ranger e Tacoma.

    GM ha presentato tutti gli allestimenti ZR2 Desert Boss (blu o beige accessoriato), ZR2 (blu), Trail Boss (rosso), Z71 (grigio), LT (khaki), WT (bianco), con un focus particolare a quelli votati all'uso in fuoristrada.

    Sia interni che esterni sono un gran bel passo avanti rispetto al vecchio e anche al fratello maggiore Silverado. La plancia è anche al passo coi tempi grazie a materiali migliorati, infotainment da 11.3'' e strumentazione digitale da 8''.

    A differenza della precedente generazione, Colorado è proposto unicamente come double cab con cassone "corto"; ottiene però un vano portaoggetti integrato nella metà inferiore della ribaltina: è un compartimento stagno che misura 1.143 mm di larghezza e 101 mm di profondità. Oltre a contenere strumenti e attrezzature come le cinghie di traino, può anche essere refrigerato.

    L'unico motore disponibile è il nuovo 2.7 Turbo a quattro cilindri abbinato ad un automatico a 8 rapporti, proposto in tre step di potenza: 240 cv, 310 cv e 512 Nm di coppia (standard su Z71 e Trail Boss), 310 cv e 582 Nm di coppia su Z72.

    La piattaforma è anch'essa nuova, benché condivida qualche parte col precedente Colorado.

    DETROIT – Chevrolet today introduced the all-new 2023 Colorado offering customers greater performance, capability and customization, plus a refreshed exterior and interior design.

    “The all-new Colorado is enhanced in every way,” said Scott Bell, global vice president of Chevrolet. “With its rugged and sporty styling, enhanced capability, new technology and customization options, it’s designed to do more for discerning customers and still offer them great value.”

    Designers and engineers focused on three key categories to take the Colorado to the next level: elevated design, enhanced performance and new and useful technology. Each category weaves into a streamlined lineup built around a single wheelbase and single cab configuration to create a unified Colorado pickup family.

    The 2023 Colorado lineup includes Work Truck (WT), LT, Z71, ZR2 and first-ever Trail Boss models. The lineup features three distinctive chassis stances to optimize each model’s capabilities. Together, they compose a more diverse range of choices tailored to the distinctive ways customers use their trucks for work and recreational activities, including off-roading.

    All-NEW DESIGN

    Along with new exterior styling and proportions, the 2023 Colorado introduces an all-new interior that blends refinement and functionality with work-ready durability and comfort. Across the 2023 Colorado lineup, there are now four unique interior trims choices for customers.

    The class-leading, standard 11.3-inch-diagonal color infotainment1 touchscreen is the centerpiece of the cabin and is accompanied by a segment-first standard 8-inch-diagonal fully digital color instrument display, both of which are customizable. The four distinct new interior options feature sporty round outboard vents, wrapped and stitched knee pads on the doors and center console for select models, and more adventurous contrast stitching on select models.

    “We set out to design the Colorado as a tough, muscular and capable midsize truck, which we think especially came through in the wide ZR2 trim with the aggressive grille shield.” said Phil Zak, executive design director. “Across all trims, the exterior’s presence and attitude is reflected in the interior, which is designed around the large center stack screen.”

    Leaning into the success from the current generation, the 2023 Colorado has a significant number of on- and off-road accessories available for any trim. In an effort to allow each customer to build their off-road dream truck, the off-road accessory portfolio has more than doubled from previous model years.

    A 2.7L Turbo engine, proven in the full-size Silverado, is new for Colorado and powers all five models with three distinct output variants that exceed the output of the current model.

    The engine receives several enhancements in the 2023 model year to help optimize performance and refinement. They include a more rigid cylinder block casting and a 30% stiffer crankshaft, which complement a fully forged bottom end as well as materials used in diesel engines to deliver the durability customers expect.

    This single advanced engine delivers more horsepower and torque than the previous three engines offered. The new base 2.7L Turbo engine, for example, offers 18% more horsepower and 36% more torque than the current Colorado’s base engine. In addition, the higher-output versions of the 2.7L engine line up produce more horsepower and torque than the current model’s available 3.6L V-6 and 2.8L turbo-diesel engines. 

    A second-generation eight-speed automatic transmission complements the new engine, with refinements designed to offer smoother shifting and quicker downshifts, for a feeling of greater comfort and power on demand. It also excels in low-speed mobility, particularly in off-road scenarios.

    The 2023 Colorado lineup arrives re-engineered with three distinct chassis setups to support everyday tasks and off-road adventures, without sacrificing off-road capability, or on-road comfort:

    • Standard: WT, LT and Z71 trims
    • 2-inch Factory-Lifted, Ultra-Wide Stance: Trail Boss
    • High-Performance 3-inch Factory-Installed Lift & Wide Stance: ZR2

    “The new Colorado is a lifestyle enabler,” said Nicholas Katcherian, vehicle chief engineer. “Because outdoor activities are a big part of our Colorado customers’ lifestyles, we’ve made the truck even more capable to support them — from increased bed functionality to comprehensive performance enhancements that help take them farther.”

    All models are built on a new chassis that gives the 2023 Colorado a 3.1-inch-longer wheelbase than the current Crew Cab/short box model. A shortened front overhang that contributes to a more aggressive stance also significantly improves the truck’s approach angle.

    The Trail Boss features a 2-inch lifted suspension and wide chassis that produce more ground clearance and a 3-inch wider front track than WT and LT for enhanced off-road driving capability. ZR2 is the most capable of them all, with a high-performance 3-inch lifted suspension and upgraded Multimatic DSSV dampers.

    The increased clearances enable customers to tackle more challenging terrain. With the increased approach angle, for example, the Colorado can climb more vertical terrain than before, without suspension or bodywork interference.

    SELECTABLE DRIVE MODES

    To support the new Colorado’s increased off-road and trailering capabilities, up to five selectable drive modes, depending on the model, are offered. Each is tailored for different driving conditions, and they are accessible using a knob located on the center console, to the left of the gear selector. The five drive modes include:

    • Normal: A balanced mode for everyday on-road driving
    • Tow/Haul: Transmission shift points, throttle response and additional calibrations optimized for trailering and hauling
    • Off-Road: Specific tractive and other dynamic performance features designed for general off-pavement driving
    • Terrain: Designed for low-speed rock crawling, with specific throttle control, brake performance and other calibrations, with three settings 
    • Baja: Developed for high-speed desert running, with specific throttle control, transmission shifting and other body/drivetrain control calibrations.

    Enhanced Driver Awareness Technologies

    Colorado’s technologies also include an enhanced roster of safety and driver awareness features. The standard Chevy Safety Assist2 package includes Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator and IntelliBeam® automatic high-beam assist.

    Available features for all models include Blind Zone Steering Assist2, Rear Cross Traffic Braking2, Adaptive Cruise Control2, HD Surround Vision and Rear Pedestrian Alert2.

    New and Enhanced Technologies

    Colorado’s new 11.3-inch-diagonal infotainment screen is the gateway to new and innovative technologies designed to make the driving experience more enjoyable and more intuitive — especially when trailering or driving off-road. Highlights include:

    • Customizable and configurable screens with higher resolution than previous models
    • Segment-first available Google Built-In2 for accessing maps, music, vehicle functions and more
    • All-new Off-Road Performance Display: an available app that helps drivers monitor their real-time off-road performance with different readouts for Overlanding (altitude and GPS guidance), Terrain (pitch, roll and tire pressure) and Baja (g-force, wheel slip indicator and transfer case status) driving situations
    • More camera views than any competitor in its class, with up to 10 camera views2 accessible on the infotainment screen — including a segment-first available underbody camera on Z71 and ZR2.

    Colorado’s camera technologies are also integral in a suite of trailering technologies4 pioneered on the Silverado. Hitch Guidance2 is now standard, while Hitch View2 and Chevy’s Trailering App5 are new in 2023. Hitch Guidance features a guideline to help line up the trailer and hitch, and Hitch View provides a zoomed-in view of hitch to help with alignment with the coupler.

    The Trailering App is designed to help drivers with all stages of trailering, from hitching to on-road assistance and even responding to potential hazards. The features are accessible from the built-in infotainment app or through a smartphone.

    Coming in Early 2023

    Production for the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado begins in the first half of 2023 at General Motors’ Wentzville, Missouri, assembly facility. Pricing and additional details will be released closer to the start of production.

    CLASS-LEADING BED AND TAILGATE FUNCTIONALITY

    Standard on the ZR2, and available on other models, the system is the segment’s first built-in tailgate storage solution, offering secure and watertight storage. When the tailgate is down, the lockable lid opens to a 45-inch-wide (1,143 mm) and 4-inch-deep (101 mm) compartment with a drain.   5. Anche questa non mi sembra di averla vista da alcuna parte: l'aggiornamento di Z4 è così leggero da non potersi considerare proprio come un LCI; andiamo perciò a vedere cosa cambia.

    Per prima cosa, addio agli allestimenti d'accesso su sDrive20i ed sDrive30i: rimane soltanto la caratterizzazione MSport.

    A cambiare sono la mesh del doppio rene, adesso a nido d’ape ed il disegno interno selle prese d’aria sul paraurti anteriore.

    Nuova la palette colori, con il Thundernight metallic delle foto, il Portimao Blue Met. ed il Skyscraper Grey Met.

    Aggiunti nuovi cerchi da 19” e la Shadowline come standard.

    Dentro M-Sport Pack di serie.

Sotto l'ampio cofano della BMW Z8, costruita a mano, il motore V8 da 5,0 litri con 294 kW/400 CV, originariamente sviluppato per la BMW M5, ha offerto prestazioni spettacolari sia al cinema che su strada.

    La BMW Z4 incarna da 20 anni il piacere di guidare a cielo aperto per il guidatore e il passeggero. La prima generazione della roadster fu presentata al Mondial de l'Automobile di Parigi del 2002. Quattro anni dopo è stata seguita dalla BMW Z4 Coupé, anch'essa a due posti, dalla quale è stata sviluppata un'auto da corsa GT3 che ha riscosso un notevole successo nelle gare di durata del Nürburgring. Sulle piste da corsa, la BMW Z4 ha raccolto il successo registrato dal suo predecessore con una variante sviluppata secondo i regolamenti GT3. I team sportivi clienti hanno vinto con questa macchina da corsa in eventi come le 24 ore di Dubai e Spa-Francorchamps.

     

    La terza generazione: il motore a sei cilindri in linea la contraddistingue.

    L'attuale BMW Z4 è sul mercato dal 2020 ed è costruita dal partner di produzione del BMW Group Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik a Graz, in Austria. Il lancio sul mercato mondiale della nuova edizione avrà inizio nel novembre 2022. La gamma di motorizzazioni comprende una coppia di quattro cilindri e un sei cilindri in linea che danno alla BMW Z4 M40i (consumo di carburante combinato: 8,1 - 7,9 litri/100 km [34,9 - 35,8 mpg imp]; emissioni di CO2 combinate: 184 - 179 g/km nel ciclo WLTP; dati per il ciclo NEDC: - ) un punto di forza davvero unico nel suo segmento. Negli ultimi tempi, il modello BMW M ha rappresentato oltre il 30% delle vendite mondiali della roadster; in Germania, la BMW Z4 M40i ha raggiunto il 48%.

    Finora sono state vendute oltre 55.000 unità della BMW Z4 di terza generazione in tutto il mondo. Il mercato più importante per la roadster è la Germania, dove è stato venduto circa il 26% di tutte le auto dell'attuale generazione di modelli. Seguono gli Stati Uniti (con il 17%), la Cina, il Regno Unito e il Giappone. In un segmento di veicoli generalmente in calo, la BMW Z4 ha mantenuto volumi di vendita straordinariamente costanti da quando è stata messa sul mercato. Fin dal primo giorno, è stata di gran lunga il modello più venduto in una classe molto combattuta, popolata esclusivamente da marchi premium tedeschi. E da allora ha aumentato costantemente la sua quota di mercato.

    Il carattere di un veicolo orientato al piacere di guidare purosangue e costruito su un design atletico, un motore vivace e un'agilità che induce al sorriso sono alcuni dei fattori principali della forte popolarità della BMW Z4. Queste qualità hanno anche permesso alla BMW Z4 di vincere regolarmente i test comparativi condotti dalla stampa automobilistica. In effetti, la BMW Z4 ha goduto di una risposta positiva da parte dei media fin dal momento della sua presentazione. La rivista tedesca Auto, motor und sport l'ha proclamata "il ritorno dell'auto sportiva dell'anno", mentre Auto Bild l'ha descritta come la "cabrio più sexy dell'anno". La BMW Z4 ha ottenuto risultati eccezionali anche nei sondaggi pubblici. I lettori della rivista Motor Klassik l'hanno incoronata "futuro classico" già nel 2019. Inoltre, la roadster si è comportata bene su molti fronti nel sondaggio dei lettori di Sport Auto, con ognuna delle tre varianti che ha vinto uno "Sport Auto Award".

     

    Più dinamica che mai: pacchetto M Sport di serie, griglia a doppio rene BMW dal nuovo design.

    Con proporzioni muscolose, un'estetica perfetta guidata dall'attuale linguaggio di design BMW e una serie di dettagli individuali, il design esterno della BMW Z4 racchiude l'interpretazione moderna della classica auto sportiva aperta. Le caratteristiche distintive del frontale includono le grandi prese d'aria, i fari a LED con sorgenti luminose disposte verticalmente e posizionate ai bordi esterni, e il lungo cofano che si estende sopra i passaruota. Le ultime modifiche al design mettono in risalto la larghezza e l'assetto possente della roadster.

    Un ruolo particolarmente importante è svolto dalle caratteristiche esterne del pacchetto M Sport, che ora sono incluse di serie anche nei modelli a quattro cilindri. Tra queste figurano le prese d'aria a tre sezioni nella grembialatura anteriore, già note in altri modelli M, il caratteristico profilo dei brancardi laterali e la grembialatura posteriore con bordi decisi su entrambi i lati. Le prese d'aria laterali, che convogliano l'aria in entrata verso le barriere d'aria, riducendo le turbolenze nei passaruota, sono state rimodellate. Sono stati apportati aggiornamenti al design della griglia a doppio rene BMW, che ha guadagnato notevolmente in impatto visivo. I reni hanno ora una struttura interna orizzontale, che rafforza l'impressione di un frontale ampio. Il carattere prestazionale della BMW Z4 M40i è sottolineato da caratteristiche quali le calotte degli specchietti retrovisori esterni in Cerium Grey e le finiture trapezoidali dei terminali di scarico.

    Contribuiscono all'autenticità sportiva dell'aspetto esterno della BMW Z4 anche le superfici chiare delle fiancate della vettura (con due linee di carattere che portano la struttura in modo dinamico), le grandi prese d'aria dietro i passaruota anteriori, lo spoiler integrato nel cofano del bagagliaio, le sottili luci posteriori a forma di L e l'accattivante elemento diffusore nella grembialatura posteriore. Il classico soft-top in tessuto della roadster è azionato elettricamente e può essere aperto o chiuso - nell'arco di 10 secondi - con la semplice pressione di un pulsante mentre l'auto è in movimento a una velocità massima di 50 km/h (31 mph).

     

    Esclusivi cerchi in lega leggera M da 19 pollici, tre nuovi colori esterni.

    Tra le novità dell'equipaggiamento di serie figurano i cerchi in lega leggera M da 18 pollici con design a doppie razze. Questi cerchi bicolore sono dotati di pneumatici di dimensioni miste: 225/45 R18 sull'asse anteriore e 255/40 R18 su quello posteriore. Tra le opzioni ora disponibili per i clienti ci sono i cerchi in lega leggera M in formato 19 pollici progettati esclusivamente per la BMW Z4. Il design a razze a V, la finitura opaca Jet Black e i bordi dei cerchi lucidati al diamante conferiscono un'aura estremamente suggestiva e sofisticata alla vista laterale della roadster. I cerchi in lega leggera M da 19 pollici sono equipaggiati con pneumatici in formato 255/35 ZR19 sull'asse anteriore e 275/35 ZR19 su quello posteriore.

    La gamma di verniciature esterne per la BMW Z4 è stata accuratamente rivista, con l'aggiunta di nuove e audaci varianti espressive. Oltre ai colori di carrozzeria Thundernight metallic, Portimao Blue metallic e Skyscraper Grey metallic, disponibili per la prima volta per la roadster, la selezione comprende anche altre quattro varianti che abbracciano un ampio spettro tra il bianco, il nero, il rosso e il grigio, tra cui la scintillante verniciatura opaca BMW Individual Frozen Grey metallizzata. Il soft-top in tessuto della BMW Z4 continuerà a essere offerto nell'effetto Anthracite Silver in alternativa al nero standard.

    Tra gli optional sono stati aggiunti anche i fari M Shadow Line, che possono essere ordinati insieme ai fari adattivi a LED, anch'essi opzionali. Gli inserti scuri dei fari contribuiscono a conferire alla parte anteriore della vettura un'aura discretamente sportiva. E formano una composizione ben calibrata con le finiture esterne Shadowline lucide M con elementi estesi.

     

    Classico abitacolo da auto sportiva con tocchi specifici M.

    Il design degli interni della BMW Z4 è guidato da una disposizione dell'abitacolo incentrata sul guidatore, da sedili sportivi con poggiatesta integrati, da linee chiare e orientate in avanti e dalla limitazione delle superfici decorative a un numero ridotto di aree. La BMW Z4 sDrive20i (consumo di carburante combinato: 7,4 - 6,9 litri/100 km [38,2 - 40,9 mpg imp]; emissioni di CO2 combinate: 166 - 157 g/km nel ciclo WLTP; valori per il ciclo NEDC: - ) è dotata di serie di pelle Vernasca, che può essere specificata in Nero, Bianco Avorio, Cognac o Rosso Magma. La BMW Z4 M40i e la BMW Z4 sDrive30i (consumo di carburante combinato: 7,4 - 7,0 litri/100 km [38,2 - 40,4 mpg imp]; emissioni di CO2 combinate: 167 - 159 g/km nel ciclo WLTP; dati per il ciclo NEDC: - ) sono dotate di serie di rivestimenti in pelle/Alcantara con cuciture a contrasto blu e profili blu. Gli interni della BMW Z4 sDrive30i aggiungono un volante in pelle M, sedili M Sport, pedali M e un poggiapiedi M per aumentare ulteriormente il piacere di guida sportivo.

    Inoltre, nella BMW Z4 sDrive30i il classico cockpit da auto sportiva è ora abbinato a un quadro strumenti in Sensatec. Il riscaldamento dei sedili, il paravento, il portaoggetti esteso, il sistema di carico passante, il Park Distance Control con sensori anteriori e posteriori, lo specchietto retrovisore ad oscuramento automatico e il climatizzatore automatico bi-zona sono inclusi di serie in tutte le varianti di modello. La BMW Z4 M40i e la BMW Z4 sDrive30i sono inoltre dotate di serie di illuminazione ambientale e di finiture M per le soglie delle porte.

     

    Motori ad alto regime, sofisticata tecnologia del telaio.

    L’immagine istantanea di potenza, la passione per numeri elevati di giri, l'efficienza esemplare e la fluidità per cui BMW è rinomata sono le caratteristiche dei tre motori a benzina disponibili anche per la nuova edizione della BMW Z4. Il motore a quattro cilindri della BMW Z4 sDrive20i è abbinato di serie a un cambio manuale a sei rapporti. Il modello base può essere ordinato come optional con il cambio Steptronic Sport a otto rapporti, di serie per le altre varianti di motore della gamma. Il cambio Steptronic Sport è dotato di palette al volante e della funzione Launch Control per ottimizzare l'accelerazione in partenza.

    Lo status eccezionale della BMW Z4 per quanto riguarda la tecnologia dei propulsori è rappresentato soprattutto dal modello top di gamma, il cui motore a sei cilindri in linea con tecnologia M TwinPower Turbo è ineguagliato da qualsiasi rivale e mostra caratteristiche prestazionali eccezionali. L'unità da 3,0 litri, 250 kW/340 CV, sviluppa una coppia massima di 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) e spinge la BMW Z4 M40i da 0 a 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4,5 secondi. Anche i due motori a quattro cilindri, entrambi con una cilindrata di 2,0 litri e tecnologia BMW TwinPower Turbo, si distinguono per le loro vivaci caratteristiche prestazionali. Il motore della BMW Z4 sDrive30i genera una potenza massima di 190 kW/258 CV e una coppia massima di 400 Nm (295 lb-ft), consentendo un'accelerazione da 0 a 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5,4 secondi. Con una potenza massima di 145 kW/197 CV e una coppia massima di 320 Nm, la BMW Z4 sDrive20i scatta da fermo a 100 km/h in 6,8 secondi (cambio automatico: 6,6 secondi).

    Insieme alle sue proporzioni compatte, al peso ridotto al minimo, al baricentro basso e alla quasi perfetta distribuzione dei pesi 50 : 50, l'immensa rigidità della struttura della carrozzeria e del telaio e l'aerodinamica altamente efficace della BMW Z4 forniscono la piattaforma ideale per una maneggevolezza sportiva che entusiasma. La tecnologia del telaio, che riunisce un assale anteriore a due snodi e un assale posteriore a cinque bracci, permette di ottenere una miscela irresistibile di agilità e comfort di guida. Le specifiche standard per tutte le varianti del modello includono anche lo sterzo sportivo variabile.

    Le sospensioni M Sport, ora parte dell'equipaggiamento standard della BMW Z4 sDrive30i, ottimizzano la dinamica di guida grazie a una rigida regolazione degli ammortizzatori e delle molle. La BMW Z4 M40i è dotata di sospensioni adattive M con ammortizzatori a controllo elettronico e, come la BMW Z4 sDrive30i, di freni M Sport con pinze a scelta di colore blu o rosso. Il modello di punta è dotato anche di un differenziale M Sport sull'asse posteriore, disponibile come optional per la BMW Z4 sDrive30i.

     

    Sistemi di assistenza alla guida all'avanguardia, connettività intelligente.

    La BMW Z4 offre ai clienti una serie di sistemi di assistenza alla guida all'avanguardia per migliorare i livelli di comfort e sicurezza. La dotazione di serie comprende l'avviso di collisione anteriore con intervento sui freni, l'avviso di superamento della linea di carreggiata con ritorno alla corsia di marcia e la funzione di informazione sui limiti di velocità con indicatore di divieto di sorpasso. Tra gli optional figurano l'Active Cruise Control con funzione Stop&Go, l'avviso di cambio corsia, l'avviso di collisione posteriore, l'avviso di attraversamento della carreggiata, il Parking Assistant e la telecamera di assistenza alla retromarcia. È disponibile anche il BMW Head-Up Display, che proietta le informazioni di guida sul parabrezza.

    Il BMW Live Cockpit Professional assicura un funzionamento intuitivo e una connettività intelligente. Offre schermi personalizzabili per il quadro strumenti completamente digitale e il display di controllo, entrambi con una diagonale di 10,25 pollici. Le sue funzionalità comprendono anche il sistema di navigazione BMW Maps, un sistema multimediale basato su disco rigido, il BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, l'integrazione degli smartphone, un hotspot Wi-Fi e un sistema di allarme.

  6. Corsair Facelift ha debuttato settimane fa in America con un nuovo paraurti anteriore e calandra ridisegnata, adesso più grande.

    Non si segnala alcuna modifica a fiancata e posteriore; vengono però introdotti nuovi cerchioni e nuove tinte carrozzeria.

    Le novità più grandi si trovano all’interno, grazie ad un nuovo schermo infotainment da 13.2” dotato di SYNC4 e la strumentazione digitale portata a 12.3''. Nuova e semplificata anche la parte inferiore della plancia, che rinuncia a gran parte dei tasti fisici, clima incluso, adesso integrati nel pannello infotainment.

    Aggiornati anche gli ADAS grazie all'intoduzione del pack ActiveGlide 1.2, comprendente Lane Change Assist a mani libere, il Blind Sport Assist e il migliorato Predictive Speed Assist.

    La Corsair 2023 è disponibile solo con due propulsori, dopo l'addio al 2,3 litri turbo dalla gamma. Ciò significa che adesso si può optare per l' ibrido plug-in di punta con un motore a benzina da 2,5 litri e un motore elettrico per un combinato 290 cv, oppure per il 2.0 Turbo a quattro cilindri da 253 cv. Il secondo è offerto nelle versioni FWD e AWD con un cambio automatico a otto velocità, mentre il primo offre funzionalità e-AWD con un cambio CVT.

    DEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 12, 2022 – The new 2023 Lincoln Corsair makes its debut with segment-first features, including available Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2** hands-free features for speeds up to 80 mph, delivering an even more intuitive and effortless experience. With the addition of Lincoln ActiveGlide, Lincoln clients will enjoy even more capability and functionality in the new Corsair.   

    “Corsair is artistically crafted and expertly designed to attract younger Lincoln clients and give them the luxury experience they desire,” said Michael Sprague, North America director, Lincoln. “We want the drive experience to be even more effortless and personal and the new Corsair will deliver that with advanced technology and new features.”

    Connected technology, refined

    The new 2023 Corsair is the first vehicle in the segment to get advanced, hands-free ADAS features*** for highway driving. Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2 introduces new available features to Corsair, including:

    • Lane Change Assist can help drivers move through traffic on the freeway with more confidence while using ActiveGlide. The system will perform a hands-free lane change when the driver taps the turn signal, and it can even suggest a lane change in slow-moving traffic.
    • Predictive Speed Assist automatically and smoothly adjusts the speed as drivers approach a sharp curve and will signal the driver ahead of time when a speed change is about to occur.
    • In-Lane Repositioning makes the hands-free highway driving experience feel more natural, keeping the vehicle in its lane while subtly shifting it away from vehicles in adjacent lanes – especially helpful when next to bigger vehicles.
    • Intersection Assist 2.0 helps clients avoid potential collisions with pedestrians while turning. Corsair will also debut Blind Spot Assist, which will alert the driver with a light on the sideview mirror, applying a nudge in the steering system to help caution against an unsafe action in a case where the driver has missed warnings from the Blind Spot Information System. This feature will detect other vehicles and motorcyclists in Corsair’s blind spots.

    Available Auto Air Refresh is a holistic air filtration and active air monitoring system. Using Corsair’s standard cabin particulate and odor filter, Auto Air Refresh helps clean the cabin air by filtering out particles caused by atmospheric dust, tobacco smoke, smog and some allergens, including pollen.

    Meanwhile, an enhanced interior places an emphasis on the brand’s horizontal, signature design. The center stack screen grows to an impressive 13.2 inches, and features SYNC®4**** technology and Lincoln Enhance software updates. The driver’s 12.3-inch LCD cluster will also come standard, with the Lincoln-unique Constellation digital interface.

    Corsair will also offer the Alexa Built-in hands-free experience with complimentary connectivity to Alexa for three years. Clients can use Alexa to listen to music, navigate, control smart home devices, add items to a shopping list and more, using voice commands such as “Alexa, find the closest gas station,” or “Alexa, play my road trip playlist.”

    New design, inside and out

    A new and larger grille and wing-shaped daytime running lamps give Corsair a fresh face and a more dynamic, youthful presence.

    The Corsair Grand Touring grille features a sundown satin metallic foil with blue accents that give a warmer tone. Coupled with new, available wheel options that enhance personalization, the new Corsair boasts a sleek, modern exterior look.

    “Evolving the design of the popular Corsair was an exciting challenge, and our team accomplished this in a dynamic way,” said Kemal Curic, global design director, Lincoln. “With the new Corsair we are offering a glimpse into Lincoln’s new exterior design language and introducing new and more youthful colors and materials that allow our clients make their vehicle their own.”

    Two new interior themes will be available on Corsair:

    • Smoked Truffle is a mid-tone, neutral space with medium-dark soft trim accents to create a warmer, rich environment. Smoked Truffle creates a restorative color space for clients – intended to be both contemporary and familiar.
    • Eternal Red is the tasteful new color that creates a more youthful, fresh look. Pista aluminum accents, exclusive to the Eternal Red theme, will also be introduced on the 2023 Corsair. Lincoln’s take on this red space is deeper and richer, providing a sense of warmth and calm, while still providing energy to the interior.

    Two new exterior colors are also available – Crystal Red and, new to Lincoln, Whisper Blue. The Jet Appearance Package is also available on Corsair.

    A streamlined lower instrument cluster below the center stack screen creates a spacious front row, making placing and accessing items in the media bin effortless. A new available backlit applique shines light through a perforated star light pattern, providing Lincoln’s signature constellation effect.

    “Color plays a major role in complementing Corsair’s beautiful design,” said Liam Butler, color and materials designer, Lincoln. “Refreshing colors and themes create an ambiance that shift the mood of the interior, creating a warm environment and a luxurious experience that is uniquely Lincoln.”

    Corsair will be available in both 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine with a 250-horsepower rating*****, and as the 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid Corsair Grand Touring with a 266 combined horsepower rating. The intelligent all-wheel drive system allows for enhanced all-weather capabilities and bold performance, optimizing efficiency by seamlessly switching between front-and-all-wheel drive, depending on road conditions.

    Drivers can further customize Corsair with Lincoln’s signature drive modes: Normal, Excite, Slippery and Conserve. Two additional modes enhance the plug-in hybrid electric driving experience:

    • Preserve EV saves the battery power while continuing to use both engine and motor.
    • Pure EV is designed to keep the driver in all-electric mode in many conditions. The hybrid engine seamlessly engages to provide additional power if needed.

    The Corsair is built at Louisville Assembly Plant in Louisville, Kentucky. Ordering for the new 2023 Corsair is now open at www.lincoln.com, and will begin arriving in showrooms in early 2023.
