  1. Thanks for the correction. Can you give me any answers for Brera vs TT-2006 http://www.autopareri.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10723&page=188&pp=10
  2. An Alfa Dealer from england wrote...8c CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Sorry for the repost! Why you don't compare new TT with Brera?Because of the platform and smaller dimensions? Also it has multilink in the rear suspension(not independent),alouminum chassis and 2 differential torsen c generation like 159/brera....Maybe you were talking for nowadays TT and not for the new TT-2006 Also you are saying all the time that mcpherson of Βmw/Audi/porche is ridiculous but why WRC uses them and after great developement and with the help of electronics a mcpherson suspension could be as competitive in the presice of a turn as double wishbone. Also i cannot understand why a steering wheel with 3 turns is not as good as alfa's with 2 turns...For example Bmw M3,elise,STi,Gt2/3,evo have more presice steering wheels than alfa romeo despite having more turns.I know that Germans don't use so sophisticated solutions like Italians but after their great developement they achieve to have competitive cars. Aluminum TT Audi will extend its industry-leading aluminum technology -- showcased in the A8 L -- into the next-generation TT coupe and roadster. The announcement was made by Audi AG quality manager Manfred Sindel. He noted that aluminum will reduce the new TT's body structure weight by about 42% and increase rigidity, contributing directly to improved driving performance. The all-aluminum TT is expected to go into production in 2007. http://www.germancarfans.com/spypho...001/audi/1.html The platform already underpins all of VW’s marks, which include the Skoda Octavia II, the Seat Altea, Audi A3 and VW Golf V. The new platform will be offered with FWD or with Quattro four-wheel-drive. The new multi-link suspension will be carried over from the Golf and will over class leading handling. A wider track and longer wheelbase should also improve handling and ride. Engines are said to be new transversely mounted in-line four-cylinders and narrow-angle V6 engines. This will include the new naturally aspirated 150hp unit and the upcoming 2.0-litre turbo charged FSI. The 3.2-litre V6 will be reworked and FSI injection will be added to increase power to 255hp. Not to be out done by AMG, Audi is planning on introducing a RS version of the TT that boasts an incredible 350hp from the reworked turbo-charged 3.2-litre. A 6 speed manual will come standard and a 6 speed DSG will be option on all models except the entry ones. The next-generation Audi TT will get its first diesel engine and a range-topping 280bhp twin-turbo petrol model as the German company looks to build on the phenomenal success of the current car. Audi wants to double the number of TTs it builds to 60,000 per year with the arrival of the Coupι’s replacement in the last quarter of 2006. The diesel version is pencilled in for late 2007 or early 2008. A new Roadster will follow around 12 months behind the Coupι. The 280bhp twin-turbo version is an development of the blown 200bhp 2.0-litre engine that will appear in the new VW Golf GTi, and will be added to the range in 2007, alongside a base-level 150bhp 2.0-litre. The diesel comes from the Golf’s 138bhp 2.0-litre TDi unit, pushed out to around 160bhp. The two launch models should be a 200bhp turbo 2.0-litre and a 3.2-litre V6, boosted by 5bhp from the current 250bhp. The car, codenamed AU353, could be unveiled at next September’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Audi is shying away from any radical changes to the now-iconic styling, but will apply the new ‘shield’ company grille. The TT is expected to be based on an aluminium spaceframe chassis with Golf running gear. -Autocar.co.uk
