Voi come li abbasserete i costi. Per chi non lo sa si va dagl' 80 milioni di euro per i team morti di fame ai 400 pr quelli che vincono ( Ferrari / Maclaren/ Bmw) Una cosa che so e' che , durante una stagione a un team minore, entrano circa 35/40 milioni ( inclusi il contributo di Ecclestone!) Fatevi i calcoli. Gia' 2 o tre team sono in brutte acque. Una F1 o quello che sia con meno di 20 macchine nel grid perderebbe credibilita' e leggittimita'.( secondo me)

Congress voted to give cheap loans to Ford, General Motors and Chrysler to help them adapt to new emissions rules. European car makers had already made it clear they saw the US package as a form of disguised subsidy. No repayments will be required during the first five years. Europe's car industry wants a similar aid package to ensure that it is not at any competitive disadvantage. Industry gloom PSA Peugeot Citroen said the loans would help the industry finance "very heavy investments" to modernise their factories and meet European Union targets for cleaner cars. By 2012, car makers will have to cut the carbon dioxide emissions of new cars in Europe to an average of 130g per km travelled, from about 145-150g currently. Those that miss the target would face fines for each car breaching the new limits. The Paris motor show opened last week amid much industry gloom over the global financial crisis and the economic downturn in Europe.

Tata quits Nano factory 03 October 2008 Tata Motors has abandoned its new Nano factory in West Bengal because of violent protests by local farmers. The company, which recently put production at its Singur site on hold because of concerns over the safety of its employees, has decided to move the production line and machinery, but not yet finalised the new location. Tata Motors has received offers of land from other Indian states keen to host the factory, including a potential 1000-acre package from Karnataka in the south west of India. There have also been suggestions that it might manufacture the Nano in neighbouring Sri Lanka, but many analysts believe that it will move to Pantnagar in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, where Tata already has a truck factory and infrastructure.
