I am a Ghibli owner, using it as a daily. new Ghibli should come on the next plan with E seg sedan from Alfa. probably 2023. they gave priority to Alfieri, new Levante and New QP (2022 on the electrification plan) D-UV should come (2019 ?) before to push the sale so 2023 could be a good date

I’ve driven my Giulia Veloce on track. there is no Race mode on this car and the downshift are too slow for a track use now they might put the ZF8 with race mode as per Giulia QV, but still should not match PDK from cayman/Boxster which will be the target. for your information my Veloce oil overheated after 5 laps and processor reduced power, have to round 2 laps at slow speed to be able to do another 2 fast lap. this Veloce is a diva on open road but nowhere near a track day car. my previous 4C lapped during 30 minutes without any overheating
