I must once again said that Stellantis did a lazy job with so called CMP 2. Anyway, what does '2' in the name means?
They did not redo platform for FCA infotainment system.
They did not made it suitable for FCA engines.
I know that PSA want it cheap and sources in house. But was it so hard to make this car suitable for 1.5 MHEV engine? Engine which is ready au contraire to 1.2 MHEV solution from PSA which also has dubious choice of transmission. It's not double clutch even if they call it that way.
And one simple thing.
They did all of this products with shortest available wheelbase length. Why?

Also Avenger has dad lesser measured cargo space than 500X. It's the worst in the class.
CMP has many drawbacks, many tehcnical drawbacks. The only advantage is price.

I'm wondering if anything on PSA mechanics can replace FCA products. 😂
I mean, so poorly engineered, cost cuts at every step and so on.
BTW. There is none 4 cylinder GSE on CMP based products, not even in Brazil. It just doesn't fit. I presume it's due to position of ancillaries.

Questa 600 non sostituisce la 500X.
What does? Big nothing!?

Airflow was back at the drawing board due to regulation changes related to subsidize for BEV cars and SUVs. It's related to a ground clearance. Original Airflow has low ground clearance and thus was legally a car and not an SUV.

Most likely Wrangler will keep its unique platform/frame

Looking at how is all going with BEV demand and having a multienergy platform with STLA Large ex PSA management would be mad if they're going to offer BEV only models in the future. But to me ex PSA leadership so far look stingy and devoid of reality.

Come detto:
That's not stellantis' nomenclature. It's 100% PSA.

For me here is the prime example of a clear push of expensive French products.
France is first!

They did a lazy job with ex-FCA'a CMP based triplets.
They even didn't bother to implement FireFly engines and UConnect to it.
They even have no shame calling 1.2 PuteDreck a GSE and an infotainment a UConnect.

I could agree that 600 is replacement for a 500X in a case that it's using long wheelbase version of CMP.
One problem, and for me it's a major problem or issue. Using VW T-Cross as a benchmark is just wrong. IMO benchmark should have been Captur and 2008 which are both sitting ona (significantly) longer wheelbase than their hatchback siblings.

For me 500X is a better designed car, both inside-out.
About some technical solutions and engine choices...

Good luck if it's PHEV... God save us!

In general I'm surprised by 2 technical choices. They only show how cheap are French/PSA.
The first is omission of the brand new GSE/FireFly engine family.
The second is lack of UConnect infotainment system which is arguably better than PSA's system.
For me there is no logical explanation behind this except that French are cheap and stingy.
Ah... And that old and problematic 1.2 PureDreck with 100 HP. Ouch!

So basically we have...
- French engines, both petrol and electric
- French-Chinese platform
- French-Chinese hybrid transmission
- French infotainment system (bey bye UConnect)
What's Italian or FCA's on this car?

This transmission is called 8F30.

Uno? LOL
Anyway. I'm deeply disappointed with all of these French cars. CMP is a compromised platform both in terms of passive safety and packaging.Rear seat space/legroom is very small. CMP cars are big on the outside but small on the inside. I think that they are the worst in a B segment for this particular category.
On top of that we will get unreliable French 1.2 engine.

You don't know what are you talking about.
GSE is dead.
1.2 PureDreck is 100% PSA project.
