Taurus...... 156 don't use double wishbone in the front suspension...Is that true? They are using Μcpherson in the Front.The departement of marketing choose the name double wishbone in order to impress despite the first generation of 156 was called ''quadrilatero deformabile''....it is sth more better than mcpherson,simiral because it leaves space for engines for transerse engines but not double wishbone. What about 159?

le versioni ufficiali saranno tre 1.4T 130cv che non e' versione ne sportiva ne sportiveggiante 1.4T 150cv Sporting sportiveggiante 1.6T 180cv Abarth disponibile pero' anche con kit potenziamento opzionale da 230cv La Abarth avra' un differenziale a controllo elettronico. When 1.4T engines will be intoduced?....2006?

Taurus.... I am interested to buy in 1.5year the new Maserati coupe.If it will use premium platfrom for cost saving reasons i will go for 911 s.My other option is Brera Gta but i think Maserati will be better(rwd-translaxe-more hp)-what do you think? 1)Maserati coupe will be introduced in the second half of 2006? 2)Do you know price in Italy? 3)Why it won't have Uniair?....will it be fitted after with the introduce of 159/Brera Gta in 2007?.....In general,do you know which cars will use Uniair technology?

Taurus... I read that the new blocks are not made from Fiat-Gm Powertrain but only from Gm. The High Feature GM V6 engine family, as has been named, was designed by General Motors in the US with ZERO input from Alfa, Saab, Holden or any other GM subsidiaries. The engine started development back in 01 It was already in the CTS in 2004 Alfa use the bottom end and have designed their own head, etc outsourcing most of this to companies like Bosch The engines are built in Aus off GM's design and will be exported to Italy for modification/final fitting. Thats all she wrote in Aussie media There are rumours about who helped with development, some say Honda because of GM buying the L66 engine from them (for use in Saturn), but the designers were pretty much the same guys responsible for the Ecotec, so mainly Opel engineers

....Ok but i compared 1.9jts with 320i when Taurus said that the right comparison is 1.9 vs future 318 and 320 vs 2.2jts...... All this years from 1997 when 156 was introduced,why the magazines compared 156 1.8 with 318(2.0) and 156 2.0ts with 320(2.2)?....the same thing happened with nowadays Gt coupe 2.0jts compared not with 318ci but with 320ci....All these years,journalists were comparing different things for bmw's favour......is this fair to you?....now it is alfa's turn to do the same-Revenge is a dish best served cold i have driven both 318(2.0) and 320(2.2) and beleive me Gt coupe 1.8ts,Gt coupe 2.0jts despite have less cylinder are a lot faster engines,more torque and better reving......I would say that 318(2.0) is as fast as 156 1.6ts. Also in Greece they tested Gt 2.0jts,MB sports coupe 230!! and 320ci in the track and Gt coupe was the fastest,1 turn behind was the strong Merc and a half lap behind was the bmw.
