    I think the greater indicator of performance forthcoming 4C is Torque/Weight ratio. Even if the engine wold have 340-350Nm (because they will use C635 gearbox) this ratio is 340/0.9=378 Nm/t. But if Alfa could stop weight on 850 kg this ratio will be 400 Nm/t Porsche 911 Carrera S has 299 Nm/t Ferrari 458 Italia has 391Nm/t Porsche 911 Turbo S has 421Nm/t

    3rd party? Who makes manual gearbox for RWD from external sellers? Codeveloping? With who? The using of external seller gearbox is not simple. In this case they will redesigned floor of the body. It's a lot of design and practical work. I think new MX5 platform is almost ready and using of big torque gearbox is question of money

    Maybe I'm not right, but M-Air doesn't works properly with revs more 7000. If this new engine has revs higher 7000 they must use double variable timing. 300 bhp/1.8 = 166.67 bhp/l. Its very good ratio! They planned 1750Tbi 265bhp for Giulietta GTA - 151,4 bhp/l
