The person who wrote the article also knows that the 8C Spider built two years ago was a model, so I don't know why he made this mistake. From what I have heard, the Spider mock up built 2 years ago was based on a regular 8C Competizione model, and they simply cut off the roof? I have forwarded the error notice. On the topic of the 8C, I was discussing with my colleague a few months ago how many prototypes have actually been built - can you shed any light on this? Thanks.

I agree about the looks - it just doesn't work in my photoshop. Especially the rear end of the GT Wagon is very unique and would be very difficult to convert into an Alfa. Another problem with my photoshop, is that there is no space for the registration plate - But this also seems to be a problem on the Visconti (which I used as inspiration)?- 735 risposte

They should use design hints from the beautiful W30 prototypes from 1937.aha - grazie!The situation is a logistical nightmare. I have also heard that the casting plant in Australia might close down. Why don't they simply use one of Teksid's casting facilities in Italy to cast the basic blocks, and assemble the Alfa bits whilst they are there - and then send them by truck to the factory? It would surely be more convenient and less expensive?
