My 2 cents is that there will not be a successor to the MCPura. It wasn't successful (to put it mildly) and Maserati hadn't had a mid-engined sportscar in its range for many years. Talking about character, the M9X won't be a SUV. It could be a very interesting car, like the Purosangue

Make no mistake a V8 is also used in the brand-new Amalfi. And the SF90 succesor will be launched this year and also have a V8. Also the SP4 will have a V8. And I can't see why Ferrari would put an expiry date on its V8 given the current sociopolitical situation. So, secondo me it wouldn't be crazy for Ferrari to lend a modified version of Amalfi's V8 to Maserati, to be used perhaps in the next-gen Levante. After all, the last Maserati V8 was a modified version of the same Ferrari engine. I think that the V8 is as important to Maserati as the V6 is to Alfa, probably even more

First of all, the F2X will arrive before the F2U. Secondly, I'm not sure if there were plans for a summer reveal. A FIAT official had said to Autoexpress some time ago that the first model will be unveiled before the end of the year. Start of production is scheduled in spring for the F2X, and summer for the F2U if I remember correctly, so a late year unveil would make sense

I agree, I just think that an elegant gt like Montreal doesn't really fit with lightweight materials and that whole narrative but maybe it's just me. When you say more than 33 units, do you have info if it's much more (like 500?) or a bit more (like 100)

According to italpassion (I am not copying context from the text, because it's in french, and the translated versions are terrible), Ficili revealed on Tuesday, that some "very powerful, very special" cars will be unveiled in Q1 2026, which will use lightweight materials developed in cooperation with the Luna Rossa team. Obviously they will just be new versions of the current Giulia and Stelvio Q, like @__P implied, not a new supercar like AutoExpress foolishly reported (I just posted their article earlier, because it had some parts of what Ficili said to the media). It could be Montreal, but I think that Montreal will be a much more elegant and vintage car, with not much focus in lightweight materials and sportiness, in line with the original.
