  1. 4090 From screen shoots you have posted I see 2 different project codes for Ghibli. M157 and 4006.
  2. Thank you! I think that we can connect it with the following slide: I would say that "generic hybrid" is nothing else than a P1F 48V BSG. eBooster should be related to a P2 48V. And finally 8C is most likely a P2P4 Performance PHEV. Of course we do know if they fir GME T6. In any case. My opinion is that GME T4 with eBooster is sufficient for a D segment cars but for a E segment and especially for US market it would be much better to use a 6 cylinder 350 HP engine. From what I've heard GME T6 is not planned for Italian brands. But who knows...
  3. In 2014-2018 product plans V6 with 450 and 520 HP was mentioned. Maserati application. I doubt it was a current V6 60°. Do you have a link? That would be an interesting reading. That's a PHEV. Electric power + internal combustion engine. If we look at Alfa's presentation MHEV with eBooster is mentioned. More than 600 HP. Can it replace a V8 engine? Let's speculate in this one. For sure Ferrari F160 engine will be retired. What will replace it? I don't believe it will be 2.0 PHEV. So in my opinion that leaves with a 2.0 GME T4 with an eBooster and in my opinion the other option could be a GME T6. But what do I know. Ah. And I'm speaking strictly about 350 HP engine. For 450 HP they can still use detuned 2.9 V6 as was most likely planned in the past. The other candidate is a GME T6.
  4. This new engine is called Alfa Romeo 690T. Right? Actually this was previewed all the way back in 2014-2018 plan. Gradual shift from Ferrari sourced F160 engine to a FCA sourced 690T. Back then 450 and 520 HP versions were previewed. This was long time ago. I believe that something has changed.
  5. Of course it can lead to a wrong conclusions. If anyone out the most effort into this JV it's a Israeli firm called Mobileye. ADAS and autonomous driving is their specialty. We are talking about Level 3 ADAS. I don't know if anyone is offering fully operational Level 3. Certainly nobody from Europe. Even of they are labeling it as Level 3 it's a Level 2+.
  6. BMW? LOL It's not a BMW. It's a JV with Mobileye, BMW included. But surely for LEVEL 2+ they will collaborate with Aptiv, not Mobileye.
  7. LOL In any case 2020 should be the year when we'll start to see 10.25" infotainment screens on FCA cars.

  11. AFAIK PSA doesn't have specific platform for a BEV under development. They will use smaller of their two modular platforms for such a products. That's in contrast with FCA which will have dedicated BEV platform starting with a new 500e. It's a superior solution if we are strictly taking BEV use into account. Manley did mention PSA but only in relation to Sevel capacity expansion.

  15. Maserati Plans New Model Every Six Months Until 2022 APR 22, 2019 BY JARED ROSENHOLTZ INTERVIEW https://carbuzz.com/news/maserati-plans-new-model-every-six-months-until-2022
  16. It's HEMI Day, and what bigger news could there be than some spy photos from our friends at KGP Photography of a new HEMI-powered vehicle. The long-awaited Jeep® Wagoneer has finally started it's testing phase. Originally announced in 2013, the Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer (WS) has been put on hold so many times that the public has had doubts about the vehicle ever making it into production. The Ram 1500-based Wagoneer marks a historic rebirth of the legendary nameplate of the Jeep brand. Jeep brand, moving head to head with vehicles like the GMC Yukon Denali and Lincoln Navigator. This test mule uses a chopped up body from at 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab, however, a quick look at the vehicle tells a lot First of all, the structure of the city is the one that is the most suitable vehicle to be used as a mule for SUV duty. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) engineers have hung material hanging behind the rear suspension, to hide That this vehicle has ditched the Ram 1500's solid rear-axle in favor of an independent rear axle setup, and the vehicle is riding on a set of the 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport's 22-inch aluminum wheels showing the Jeep is going full after the luxury market SUVs from the Ford and General Motors brands. This test is based on the short-wheelbase Wagoneer model. Yes, there will be two wheelbases offered on the WS-platform to do battle with the Yukon / Yukon XL and Navigator / Navigator L models according to our sources. Now, originally the Grand Wagoneer nameplate was originally thought to be an extreme luxury variant of the new vehicle, with a starting price of well into the $ 100,000 USD range. Again, according to our sources that is also false. The long wheelbase variant of the WS-platform will wear the Grand Wagoneer nameplate. While there will be luxury trim levels offered, we expect the pricing of the Grand Wagon to be very competitive with the Yukon XL Denali. The power under the hood will come from an array of powertrains according to our sources. The 5.7-liter HEMI V8 is likely to make it’s appearance, as is the all-new GME-T6 turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine. Our friends at WK2Jeeps.com, stated back in 2016 that the Grand Wagoneer could feature the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 (BGE or Big Gas Engine) from the Ram Heavy Duty lineup, as an offering. It is also possible we might see the Ram 1500’s version of the updated 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 also make its debut. We also expect that all powertrains will be backed by the ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic TorqueFlite transmission lineup. The Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer (WS) models will be produced at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant (WTAP) alongside the current Ram 1500 Classic models in late 2020. While there is a three-row Jeep vehicle that has been announced for production at the upcoming Mack Avenue Assembly Plant that FCA is currently planning on constructing out of two of their former facilities in the City of Detroit, that vehicle will be a unibody SUV about the same size as the current Dodge Durango model. This body-on-frame SUV does not have the ability to be built on the same assembly line as that vehicle. As you may remember, we broke the word that the next-generation Dodge Durango (codenamed SD) would also join the Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer on a Ram-based platform, has put on hold to allow for additional capacity at the WTAP. Durango will be in production alongside the next-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee (WL) at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit for an additional two model years according to our sources. Stay tuned as we continue to bring you all the news, information, and spy photos on the new body-on-frame Ram-based Jeep Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer lineup. https://moparinsiders.com/caught-2021-jeep-wagoneer-test-mule/

  18. A MAJOR INVESTMENT FOR WINDSOR ASSEMBLY PLANT But Cassidy says “nothing has changed with regard to the notice but we will continue fighting for our members and community until we have a resolve.” That means FCA will continue with its plan to eliminate the third production shift at WAP at the end of September, putting 1,500 employees out of work, “in order to better align production with global demand.” Sales of the Pacifica this year are down 54 per cent in Canada through February and 24 per cent in the U.S. Sales of the Grand Caravan are down more than 20 per cent in both countries over the same period. Both minivans are built at Windsor Assembly. Unifor represents the more than 6,000 employees who work at the Windsor Assembly Plant, plus hundreds more who work at automotive parts plants who will also be affected by FCA’s move. Cassidy says Wednesday’s meeting was “the first high level meeting with FCA since we received official notice on the loss of the third shift. Cassidy adds the company has asked for further meetings, and the union is going to explore options with FCA to maintain jobs at the plant that are threatened by plans to reduce production. FCA says it is not commenting on the meeting. The Windsor Assembly Plant underwent a $1-billion retooling in 2015 to start building the Chrysler Pacifica. When operating at full volume, the Windsor plant produces nearly 1,500 minivans per day. http://www.iheartradio.ca/am800/news/update-a-major-investment-for-windsor-assembly-plant-1.9087396

  20. Mentioned media outlet is obviously in war with FCA and is trying to discredited it. Speaking about CO2 article. The truth is that with a current average fleet weight FCA is supposed to reach 91 or 92 g/km while Dumbler is aiming at 105 g/km. I But most cars which are homologated under Euro 6d TEMP have higher weight in comparison to Euro 6b. It's clear why. Also FCA is in a trend of shifting to a heavier cars like Jeeps or new Alfas. All this will rise FCA's CO2 threshold. Certainly I would not say that FCA is late to an electrification game. Actually they are spot in and they will start production of such a models around the same time as all competitors. Primarily I'm talking about PHEV with more than 50km of electric range, some BEV models, and MHEV models. And in my opinion FCA hs chosen the right tactic with small or performance BEV models, middle to large size PHEV models. But in my opinion the most important part would be diesel engines which should be further improved and of course P2 MHEV powertrains which according to 2018 plan will be on sale in 2021. P2 MHEV could offer a substantial CO2 reduction, at least on paper. Of course some will not agree. But... http://www.ecochamps.eu/class-c-passenger-car-renault-megane/ The harder part of electrification is how to get a customer to chose one over a classic ICE option. So it's realistic to expect that most European car makers will miss 2021 CO2 targets.
