    Hyundai-Kia could buy a transmission from Aisin but usually they have their own transmissions. For me this is a very attractive 5 door car against Škoda Superb, new Opel Insignia or even a future VW Arteon. RWD is a unique selling point but they'll need 2.2 200 HP diesel.

    We are "smarter" after today's words from Sergio. He said that next Grand Cherokee is likely moving to Giorgio. He will know it in 60 days. That also means that next Dodge Durango is very likely going to Giorgio. Maybe launch of Alfa E-SUV next year is connected to that or they are connected to Alfa.

    I just watched whole videos from today. Sergio said that Stelvio production for US will start in 2nd half of March. Interesting that next Grand Cherokee is also very likely going to Giorgio.

    Normal segment D even if this is a RWD. RWD makes unique selling point of this car in a non-premium part of D-segment.

    Official fuel economy for 280 HP Giulia in the US is out. And it's roomier compared to German trio.

    With lower volume comes more flexibility .... relaxed pace of assembly and less automation.

    Theoretically E-SUV could use same assembly line and paint shop as Levante but unique body shop if they are on different platforms. Why not?

    But that C-segment cars have just a single turbo and they do not have a 48V tech. This 350 HP engine will be quite different than anything which is currently market. IMO, it will prove a technological dominance for a Giulia in this car segment.

    You got something wrong. Direct replacement for current Journey will not be a Dodge. It will most probably be a Chrysler 7-seat crossover. It could be based on upcoming Chinese produced K8 7-seat Cherokee and it could be made next to classic KL Cherokee in Belvidere. Chinese K8 Cherokee will get a PHEV version. When we are talking about Journey replacement in Dodge line up than we are talking about completely different vehicle compared to current one. It will be 2 row, 5 seat vehicle, it will be RWD based...

    Chrysler compact model??? Someone on Allpar just told that plans will be made official most probably in the early spring of next year and that it will substitute Dodge Fart in the FCA US line up.

    Those are not the real torque and power curves. They calculate it and very often they are wrong. P.S. It's just ludicrous how BMW is so optimistic about low end torque figures.

    It's important to mention that Giulia's 2.0 280 HP engine was nominated for Best engine 2017 in USA but did not won an award. And for 328i dyno: https://www.edmunds.com/car-reviews/track-tests/2012-bmw-328i-dyno-tested.html Max torque at around 4500 rpm although it's at the similar level from around 2750 rpm. Max power at 5250 rpm and they slowly goes down to 7000 rpm.
