La Tipo ha venduto il triplo della Bravo e ha avuto grandi vendite per un'auto su cui FCA ha investito poco e che ha lanciato con motori vecchi. Cambiare i nomi dei modelli a ogni generazione è terribile per il marketing e la Multipla aveva una pessima reputazione. Stellantis non vuole che la Fiat diventi forte nel segmento C per competere con la Peugeot.

Alfa Romeo in the US will die for this shit rebadge. Just by changing the C-pillar on the outside, and using the Compass steering wheel this might've been a decent rebadge, different enough for the Tonale to have some success in the US. Now it is dead on arrival. I bet the Alfa Romeo dealers in the US are cursing Manley and Kuniskis. This is very bad for them.

Non riesco a credere che abbiano trovato spazio nel budget per luci posteriori leggermente diverse. /s Almeno questo è qualcosa.

The Tipo was a great success with the complete lack of support it got from FCA. It's amazing it did as well as it did. And, it sold decently in other european countries besides Italy. After the 500, it had the highest sales proportion in european countries outside of Italy. And this with the geriatric Fire engines for most of its career, and barely any hydridization strategy. It proved that Fiat also has a place in the C-segment market if the managers make rational decisions like actually developing and launching a C-segment vehicle that has hatch, station-wagon and sedan versions. If they had invested more on it, it would've done even better.

The lack of Fiat products is an outrage. It just starts on the B-cars. The Punto is gone for how many years?? Look at the sales of the Dacia Duster, Clio or 208. A new Fiat would sell as much or more than those. It's a disgrace that Fiat in Brazil has more products, and that better suit Fiat than Fiat in Europe.

E i sostituti della Punto e della Tipo? Spero davvero che ci sia un nuovo prodotto Fiat che sostituisca queste due. La Tipo in realtà era un'auto decente che aveva solo bisogno di un po' più di investimenti per essere un grande successo (motori GSE fin dall'inizio e più opzioni interne). Tuttavia, è un bel modello su cui costruire. Avere un portellone, SW e forme di berlina era qualcosa di grande e così ovvio che non riesco a capire perché non è stato fatto per la Bravo. Secondo me, la nuova Giulia dovrebbe avere una forma diversa. Dovrebbe essere un portellone come la BMW Serie 4 Gran Coupé e avere anche una SW. Ma se è qualcosa come la C5 Aircross... Bleah
