  8. A few days after Leapmotor launched its C10 more details are emerging of the Stellantis backed company’s next car. The C16 will launch later this year and will come in six and seven seat versions. Fast Technology say the C16 can be seen as a half price Li L8, just as the C10 can be seen as a cheaper L7. Certainly Leapmotor make no pretensions of learning from Li Auto. Zhu Jiangming, CEO of Leapmotor, recently said: “Every detail of LeapmotorC10 learns from the Li L7. In terms of understanding user needs, product control, comfort, car machine display mode, etc., Li Auto is worth studying.” Recent spy shots give us more information about the upcoming C16. The C10 was Leapmotor’s first car designed as a world car and the C16 follows on with this using the new Leap 3.0 architecture and design language. Both externally and with the interior the C16 closely follows the C10 formula with a very obvious family relationship, something that cannot be said for earlier Leapmotor models. Exterior styling is not only similar to the Leapmotor C10 but it is also quite similar to that of the L series SUVs from Li Auto. There are light bar taillights which wrap around the whole rear. Inside the front is very similar to the C10 with an LCD instrument panel and large floating centrally mounted infotainment unit. There is still no separate entertainment screen for the front passenger, however, channeling the L series from Li there is a fold down entertainment screen on the ceiling for second-row passengers. The spy shots are of the six seater and we can see that the second row has individual seats with armrests. Details about the car are currently quite limited however the C16 uses CTC 2.0 to integrate the cells to the chassis so making them load bearing and reducing the overall weight of the car. There will be a new oil-cooled electric motor and the car will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 to control the cockpit. The Li L8 currently retails for 339,800-399,800 yuan (47,250-55,600 USD) and so if the C16 is to be a half price L8, as rumored, we should expect prices around the 200,000 yuan (27,800 USD) mark. The C16 will come in both EREV and BEV versions. To keep costs down the C16 will likely follow the route taken by the C10 and be only available as a RWD car, power though is likely up on the 170 kW electric motor in the smaller car. The range extended version will probably use the same 1.5L H15R petrol engine as a power generator. Battery packs will almost certainly be lithium iron phosphate as in the C10. We should also expect the C16 to come in smaller than the Li L8, and probably a bit under 5 meters in length. Stellantis acquired 20% of Leapmotor in an October 2023 deal. As part of the deal the two companies formed a joint venture called Leapmotor International (Stellantis holds 51% and Leapmotor controls 49%) to sell and manufacture Leapmotor vehicles outside China.   10. I grandi cinesi tutti hanno in programma una gamma Phev, quindi per i Cinesi, ecetto i piccoli start up come Nio, e uguale come procede Europa. Il bando delle ice = phev (per i cinesi) va in vigore 2060, quindi abbastanza tempo per loro di combattere gli Europei.

  12. ...dove vedrete questo cambiamento? il green deal e il bando delle ice e ancora legge valido e la stupida Leyen candidarsi per una seconda legislatura come presidente della commissione, poi tutti sapiamo quanto tempo durano deliberazione per un decreto/legge in questo aooarato mostroso a Bruxelles. E tutta la grande nave "industria automotive europeo" e a direzione bev, questa direzione non si cambia da un anno ad altro senza danni gravi.
  13. Cifre come sempre globale senza Middle East (per le Ferrari questa regione significa ca. altri 10% in piu, penso che questa si puo assumere anche per le Porsche). Le cilindrate 2000/3000... sono sempre Giappone che classificano cosi, le "-1" sono da mercati che non danno le specifiche dei motori. Totale incluso medio oriente direi ca. 175.000 fino oggi.

  17. 2023 erano 61k globale, di cui ca. 24k in Europa. Vedo piu problemi per i quasi 60%, oggi vendute fuori Europa e che forse non sono sostituibile con modelli bev in volume simile. Per me strano perche la base tecnica delle ice con le LR e esistente e sara prodotta anche in futuro con l'altro brand.

Domanda 1: no, non ha la possibilita di muoversi solo elettrica Domanda 2: come sempre dipende molto dalla stile di guida e il profilo di uso, ma in genere con una stile di guida molto defensiva e tranquillo e senza uso a distanze breve e possibile di raggiungere il consumo WLTP. Piu realistico e un consumo tra 6l e 7l//100.

  21. Previously, it was reported that the DOM is underpinned by Nio’s third-generation platform, NT 3.0. It will offer customers two optional batteries for 60 kWh and 90 kWh. The entry-level DOM will have a single electric motor developed by Nio. This decision was made to reduce its starting price. However, the DOM will also be available with 4WD. Same with every other Nio car, it supports the battery swap function. According to Nio officials, over a thousand PSS will be available for the Alps after the market launch. Previously, Nio’s co-founder and CEO William Li asked people who want to buy the Tesla Model Y to wait for the Alps DOM. He underlined that their car would be cheaper. The DOM is expected to start from 250,000 yuan (34,700 USD), while the Model Y costs 258,900 – 363,900 yuan (36,000 – 50,500 USD). William Li also mentioned that the Alps crossover will have faster charging and a bigger screen. There is no exact information about the launch of the Alps DOM. According to the report, Nissan would build the Fisker Alaska pickup in the U.S. Nissan Motor is in advanced talks to invest in electric vehicle maker Fisker in a deal that could provide the Japanese automaker with access to an electric pickup while giving the struggling startup a financial lifeline, two people familiar with the negotiations told Reuters on Friday. The deal could close this month, said the sources, who asked not to be identified because the talks are ongoing and have not been finalized. Terms being discussed include Nissan investing more than $400 million in Fisker's truck platform and building Fisker's planned Alaska pickup starting in 2026 at one of its U.S. assembly plants, one of the sources said. Nissan would build its own electric pickup on the same platform, the source said. Nissan has U.S. assembly plants in Mississippi and Tennessee. Fisker said on Thursday, when it announced it might not be able to continue as a going concern and would cut 15 percent of its workforce, that it was in talks with an unnamed "large automaker" for a potential investment and joint development partnership. A Fisker spokesman said the company does not comment on speculation, while Nissan officials were not immediately available to comment. The term sheet is ready and the deal is going through due diligence, one of the sources said. Nissan was an EV pioneer with its full-electric Leaf hatchback in 2010 but has since struggled in the face of nimbler new entrants. A deal with Fisker would help it move into the growing U.S. electric pickup market. Nissan's talks with Fisker come in the wake of the former's “rebalanced” relationship with its longtime alliance partner Renault. Last year, Nissan and Renault finalized terms of a restructured alliance after months of negotiations. They aim to have cross-shareholdings of 15 percent as part of the deal. The more limited alliance removes certain restrictions and has opened the door for Nissan to develop growth plans in areas such as EVs and software independent of Renault, said one of the sources, who is familiar with Nissan's thinking. The Yokohama-headquartered automaker is scouring “many, many opportunities,” the person said. For Fisker, the deal might be the lifeline it needs to survive at a time when aggressive price cuts globally by EV leaders Tesla and China's BYD are pressuring the industry, especially for startups like Fisker. Fisker has struggled to sell its flagship Ocean electric crossover after high interest rates led to a slowdown in demand. It said current financial resources were "insufficient" to cover the next 12 months and without additional financing it might be forced to cut production, decrease investments, scale back operations and slash more jobs. The Ocean is built by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria, the contract manufacturing unit of Canada's Magna International. Fisker also said Thursday it was in talks with a debt holder about a potential investment. Fisker said it aims to deliver between 20,000 and 22,000 Ocean vehicles in 2024. Fisker CEO Henrik Fisker previously told Reuters that the company was in talks with five automakers about a partnership to secure additional production capacity for its vehicles. On Thursday, he said talks had narrowed to one automaker and a deal would include joint development of one or more EV platforms, and North America manufacturing. Fisker unveiled the Alaska pickup last year with a price tag of just over $45,000 and said it was slated for production early next year. The Alaska platform is an extended version of the Ocean one. It and any related vehicle from Nissan would compete in a segment that includes the Ford F-150 Lightning, GM's Chevrolet Silverado electric truck, Rivian's EV and Tesla's Cybertruck. Henrik Fisker, however, said Thursday the startup would not spend money on additional projects until a strategic partnership was in place.
