That's not my understanding. AFAIK 500E is on a dedicated BEV platform. That's one of the reasons why there are no ICE variants. BEV platforms are offering superior packaging in comparison to classic platforms suitable for ICE. Just imagine once again a B segment car with around 3.8 meters in length as it once was. If I'm not mistaken Fiat 120 concept is a B segment car. And some words from John Elkann suggested that FCA will very soon offer a car on a dedicated BEV platform. I haven't seen any press material mentioning eMini.500E is on the Mini platform? I thought it was on all new dedicated BEV platform. Speaking about Jeep and Fiat B-UV.
