  1. Spider Automatic MY 1991, US version
  2. I do not know. I used to drive time to time X5 of first generation, X6 of the first generation, 328xi and M3 V8. All these cars have no steering feeling. I feel just heavy steering without good feedback, it seems as someone tightened the rack. It is not even precise, just heavy steering. The best steering feeling that I had was on my old 155. No filters at all, I could feel a butt on the asphalt. 156 had precise and quick steering, quite light in my opinion, but it had a lot of filters. 159/Brera had good medium-light steering with the same level of filters as 156, but I did not feel it quick. 159/Brera were good cars for long trips. Grande Punto and FIAT Bravo/Lancia Delta of last generation were almost awful. Like playstation. No feedback or electronic feedback. Now I drive Dart and Series 4 spider. Dart (I think Giulietta has the same system) steering is very good in a long trip. Arms do not fatigue. A lot of filters, but steering is precise. The main problem, I can not feel on what surface I drive. Even during front axle skid on ice the effort does not change, because steering is always light. It can not be lighter. Spider is another story. I have to learn how to drive, I have to think about arms and wrists position, I have to think how to turn and always have a response. However I still think that 155 had the best steering, almost without filters. It had one drawback, my hands were always tired after 200 km trip.
  3. I think it happened only because of North American market. They can not sell shit here and tell it is piece of gold. There are enough quality crap here from Japanese, American and Korean companies. They mentally can not sell FWD cars and call them Maserati or Alfa Romeo. FWD can be FIAT only. VW is shit in North America. People do not want to buy it because VW cars are shitty. They can not sell the same cars in US, so they need something real and special. Chrysler/Dodge sells mediocrity. They just do not want to be Scion
  4. Off Topic Car and Driver is not a magazine. It is just advertisement agency I remember before I bought Dart I read comparative article between Dart/Focus http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/2013-dodge-dart-rallye-vs-2012-ford-focus-se-comparison-test Then I had I chance to drive Ford Focus Titanium for several hundred km. Ford and Dart are cars from different classes. Ford is much smaller, with worse performance and awful using of internal space. Then I drove new Mazda 3, it feels like a bench on the wheels. Korean cars do not have a chance at all. I can not imagine how this magazine values cars. I just do not believe in their opinion
  5. Buyers of SW in US/Canada first of all are looking for a style. They do not care at all about trunk size (except Volvo buyers). For them is is a chance to have a car with attractive/sporty shape, with low center of gravity. Do you think E63 AMG Wagon buyers need trunk size?
  6. 1914, Merosi designed 16 valvole Twin Spark engine ☏ HTC One ☏
  7. I could not find details of the Giulia mechanics. There are no pictures or video from the presentation Could anyone provide the link to the pictures or video (I'm interested to watch full version ) I gave up to find anything
  8. And the most stupid. Practically on all of that cars used all-season tires with H speed index (210 km/h). Good tires are included in the performance package and buyers need to pay for all not necessary options included n the package and not only
  9. Weight of the competitors based on the swiss regulations BMW 320i Steptronic - 1525 BMW 320d Steptronic - 1525 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI multitronic - 1560 Audi A4 2.0 TDI multitronic - 1815 Jaguar XE 20t Portfolio Automatic - 1843 Jaguar XE 20d Portfolio Automat - 1899 Mercedes C 250 7G-Tronic - 1480 Mercedes C 250 BlueTEC 7G-Tronic - 1595 Infinity Q50 2.0 Premium Automatic - 1763 Infinity Q50 2.2d Automatic - 1880
  10. https://www.autoedizione.com/is-this-an-alfa-romeo-4c-trofeo/ I think, if it will be the serious project, the car prepared for USA 4C monocup
  11. In my opinion we will not see good sales with this type of body. People in America buy and need more practical cars, such as X5, Q7, Range Rover. Often they want 7 seats, not 4+. How much we can expect? 20-30% of Cayenne market share? In this case we probably will see 4800 annual sales of Levante in USA and 6000 in Europe. P.S. Without V8 Levante is nothing to do in America. Current engine line is good for Europe and Asia.
  12. The problem is americans and canadians prefer hatchbacks (SUV or hatches). Sedans are good for D-class premium only (along with full model line - coupe, wagons and SUV). For higher class cars buyers prefer SUV. It is really rare to see BMW 5 or MB E or Audi A6. Instead you can see a lot of X5, Q7, ML I think it was a big mistake to made Dart as sedan. They could sold much more if the car was a hatch and wagon. Buyers think that sedans for seniors, who older 65 years, who can not live active life.
  13. I saw it once, on a highway. In my opinion it was very ugly. I can say it about almost all road Porsche, they are 90% ugly looking cars. There are only 4 different styles through Porsche history - 356/911/Boxter, 914, 928/924, Panamera. Besides some high performance exemptions Porsche cars have no style, people value them by prestige only
  14. This is GAZ 53-12 from the late 90s. One of the most produced truck in the world. About 4 mln pieces were made.
  15. This is former Elkann 147 GTA LE by Castagna, as I understand new owner wrapped it.
  16. FCA postions the FIAT brand as premium in USA. In my opinion no future for Tipo in North America.
