So... - Europe: everybody has at least 3 calibrations: homologation (focus on emissions) press (focus on performance) and customer (focus on reliability). - US: the most severe is CARB, where the software (code + parameters) are part or the homologation. Then everybody has tricks. Old one was "open hood" signal until Toyota (?) was caught. Who is next ? - I am far to be a VAG fanboy. But the fee they risk is enormous. How many european jobs at risk? - About corporate culture, nobody is perfect: the EGR from the 1.6 JTD is crap by design. How does it survive? I heard voices that it is stopped after 20000 km. For euro5, emissons are supposed to be ok during 80000 km.

This time I will write in english, since it seems well accepted on this forum (thanks). So I voted that I work (since 14 years) in automotive and yes passion is still there. But as TONI wrote, passion would not have been there, I would have tried something else since a while. What is difficult: quite low technical level of many engineers, general disorganization (even at the germans...), I could earn much more working somewhere else. What is good: that I can see the result of my work in streets and show it to my children, that I have a very good understanding of how is working the object of my passion, and, maybe, simply, that this is the thing I am doing the best. @TonyH: some of my colleagues are true assholes, but I have never been directly insulted. I guess I would feel like you do if it would have happened regularly.

Ho avuto questa idea in mente da un po ', ma i recenti avvenimenti dargli più senso: - Chevrolet lascia l'Europa, lasciando qualche spazio per un altro marchio americano - Marchionne ha dichiarato che Chrysler possa tornare in Europa - Tofas sta sviluppando due vetture che avranno bisogno di un marchio per essere venduti - Fiat vuole andare nel segmento di mercato più elevato - I concessionari hanno bisogno del volume per mantenere il loro reparto manutenzione esistente - Tutto è pronto a vendere la Viaggio in Europa (è in eper da un po ') - Discussioni Europa-USA in materia di tasse di importazione stanno andando avanti Quindi, la mia proposta per il marchio a basso costo è ... Dodge - Buona immagine (è americano, non è "merda italiana" ) - Gamma di modelli pronti (Punto?, Tofas B, Ottimo / Viaggio) - ... Solo la mia idea, nessuna informazione top secret dietro

Se non fa rumore (pshiiit) quando si spinge il pedale del freno, è un buon segno. - Trovare un grande spazio con nessuno - Guidare a 30 kmh - Poi frenare molto forte. Non ti sentire un "buco" al pedale del freno. Nel mio caso mi sentivo un "buco", ho rifatto il test diverse volte, infine, non più servofreno 700 € è il prezzo ufficiale Fiat qui in Lussemburgo. Sono alla ricerca di una soluzione più economica. Il problema è che Bosch ha smesso di produrre il numero di articolo di quest'anno. Se si dispone di un prezzo migliore, mi interessa.

Confermo che la Viaggio "made in china" non è una Dart. Ho brevemente guardato sotto e ho potuto vedere che il bilink è sostituito da un ponte torcente. Mai visto la Dart dal vivo, ma questa è "cheap" (aspetto del cruscotto, carrozzeria suono "bong bong"...). Io sostengo i miei dubbi sul fatto che i materiali utilizzati sono gli stessi. IMHO, questa vettura è destinato solo ai mercati emergenti.Ho mostrato l'immagine alla mia ragazza che è avvocato specializzato in patent. Se questa immagine è un brevetto, allora sarà inutile. Per un semplice motivo, i cerchi sono visibili. Basta cambiare i cerchioni e disegno è considerato essere differente. Se si guarda il patent per la Panda 4x4, i cerchi non sono visibili ... IMHO epic fake
