  1. Il Flyfire offre la doppia versione, sorpresa Fca https://www.primopianomolise.it/citta/termoli/84180/il-flyfire-offre-la-doppia-versione-sorpresa-fca/
  2. I have a question about upcoming P2 MHEV for FCA. So if anybody knows. Upcoming system will be a Getrag sourced 7 speed dual clutch transmission with an integrated 25 kW electric motor. Am I right?
  3. Number od products plus sales network. Besides IMO Alfa must have a halo product.
  4. 1.5 was designed as engine for Alfa Romeo. 1.5 is the smaller engine capacity for which twin scroll turbo is available. Besides 1.3 is small for America. Turbo GSEs were first time presented at Vienna Motor Symposium. That was in May or April last year. They presented engine design but they've said that twin-scroll turbo version is under development for Alfa Romeo.
  5. Some of the future FCA engines will use this technology: https://www.comau.com/en/our-competences/powertrain/technologies-and-processes/plasma-transferred-wire-arc
  6. It seems to me that Pure-Dreck PSA engines are becoming surplus. Why to have 1.2 and 1.6 from 2 different engine families when you can have 1.0, 1.3 and 1.5 from a single one.
  7. Premium car brands are ice on the cake. Big profit margins in addition to high average transaction price. And big group like future PSA-FCA will already do much development for non premium brands.
  8. Fca, a Termoli verranno prodotti i nuovi motori ibridi Ultimo aggiornamento Dic 20, 2019 0 https://quotidianomolise.com/fca-a-termoli-verranno-prodotti-i-nuovi-motori-ibridi/
  10. Let's say that PSA is now flying high. It doesn't have much potential. Non existent outside of Europe and on top of its game in Europe. PSA has maximum value right now. They can be happy for 50:50 deal with FCA. FCA has higher potential than FCA. On the other hand Renault is on the bad run right now. Thus market value is low. But Renault has much higher potential than PSA. And that's even without Nissan. So Renault would be a better fit. FCA would get it cheap. But than France has interfered and all is history. Take in Nissan and that could be the last merger and takeover for FCA. Right now PSA could be just the first in lines of mergers for FCA.
  11. I still think that Renault would be a much better fit in the long run.
  12. I hope that moderators will start to punish trolls. Everyone has an opinion...
  13. During today's Conference Call mister Tavaresh didn't mention any platform by name. It's suspicious I must say. In addition to this he was very political and very obeyed to European politicians. For example about further CO2 reduction for 2030. On the another hand suppliers are all in for relaxed limits. On the other hand Mike Manley was much more keen to give direct answers. For example platform sharing is not necessary. Engines, electric motors, batteries can be shared across different platforms. Sheer volume will bring cost savings. I would say that between FCA and PSA it's still far from final arrangements. About future product development strategy. In addition to this they've said that because of antitrust laws they can't go in joint development before it's cleared. So maybe another year of wait for start of joint development and product planning. I must say that Elkann will not be satisfied with Tavaresh's behavior during Conference Calls if he stays on this course. Elkann could be in search for a new CEO.
  14. That news is a bullshit. Out of 8.7 million cars 5.6 will be on just 2 platforms. Something like that. On which platform or platforms will be rest 3.1 million cars? Even if count Ram that 2.5 billion cars on unibody platforms based on 2018 sales numbers. In addition to this there will be no common development till merger is official. That could be for additional 15 months.
  15. Fiat Chrysler CEO Manley will be part of new group after PSA merger, Elkann says https://www.autonews.com/automakers-suppliers/fiat-chrysler-ceo-manley-will-be-part-new-group-after-psa-merger-elkann-says
  16. PSA board signs off on Fiat Chrysler merger, report says https://www.autonews.com/automakers-suppliers/psa-board-signs-fiat-chrysler-merger-report-says
  17. Yet another poorly engineered car with lacking interior space?
  18. FCA, PSA boards meet to finalize merger, report says https://www.autonews.com/automakers-suppliers/fca-psa-boards-meet-finalize-merger-report-says
  19. That's not my understanding. AFAIK 500E is on a dedicated BEV platform. That's one of the reasons why there are no ICE variants. BEV platforms are offering superior packaging in comparison to classic platforms suitable for ICE. Just imagine once again a B segment car with around 3.8 meters in length as it once was. If I'm not mistaken Fiat 120 concept is a B segment car. And some words from John Elkann suggested that FCA will very soon offer a car on a dedicated BEV platform. I haven't seen any press material mentioning eMini.
  20. 500E is on the Mini platform? I thought it was on all new dedicated BEV platform. Speaking about Jeep and Fiat B-UV. If they end up around 4 meters in length it could be a market disaster. Just look at which direction is competition heading with Captur, 2008 and Kamiq.
