I don't understand why FIAT hasn't synergy with Tata. I mean common platform for upper segment Alfa/Maserati/Jaguar and different SUV for Alfa/Jeep/Land Rover. Ratan Tata is been independent director in FIAT Group Board of directors since 2006! Its great possibility for saving cost for two auto-groups with good technical solutions

But Tipo2 was very flexible: 1. FWD (with viscoLSD on Lancia and FIAT) and AWD (2 different types: Dedra - with airlocking rear diff and 155 with Torsen) 2. McPherson at forward and longitudinal arms and coil springs at the rear. Multilink at rear on GTV/Spider. Electronicaly controlled dumper on Dedra (2.0) and 155 (2.5V6, Q4) 3. I think Pentastar 3.0 V6 410 hp with direct injection and turbo is suitable for Maserati. And why Autocar wrote about ZF 8 speed, but not about new Chrysler 8 speed gearbox (550-760Nm)?

But... Did anybody of Italians found this defect in real life? Who's from differences internet forums Alfa, FIAT, Lancia around world, found this defect in real life? Who knows any real cases court between insurance company and FIAT or between user of FIAT's car and FIAT? If I remember correctly Stilo was made from 2001. And nobody knows real problem with accelerator. I think its stupid question from Autobild, without real life case. Please, somebody, give me one fact about with problem from 2001!
