  1. Yes, but blue, green... In my opinion those on Tonale standout. In any case for both number of colours is very limited. Bit that's something which PSA brought in. One way of reducing production costs.
  2. For me this car is a missed opportunity. Even with CMP with few technical changes they were in position to make a much, much better product. But what bothers me are PSA exterior colours. At least they could be from ex FCA. I prefer those on Tonale.
  3. It's not just reputation. They simply aren't good. PSA engines. And we aren't taking just about 1.2 PureDreck. Don't forget all woes with Prince and now with 1.5 diesel both with timing chain and AdBlue system. They Punch transmission is all new and designed to be cheap and not sophisticated. As I said it's fine for entry level models with small engines but not for premium brands and for most C segment and D segment cars. Not to me Rio. That Punch for years only made transmissions under licence like ZF 8HP. They didn't have their own design.
  4. Here the fake DCT is one to blame, not the engine. But who knows, maybe in the long run both will be problematic. 😂
  5. Mah.... Engine lineup is just wrong and that 6 speed with PHEV... Aluminium 2.2 MJT with 160 and 210 BP would make a perfect sense, latter with Q4. Desirable transmission would be 8 speed Aisin. On the other hand petrol is fine, the one with 160 HP. But in addition to it would be nice to have 2.0 GME Miller with around 220 HP. And of course 2.0 with around 350 HP and Q4 as top of the line. And then interior with many choices if it's black. 😂
  6. Are there any plans for Sandero MCA with updated interior and 1.2 tCe?
  7. Correct. 1.6 HEV was planned for STLA Large but I wouldn't exclude it being used for Medium. HEV could be just in the name. It could be p2.5 MHEV. In the US MHEV brings a lot of negative connotations.
  8. @__P Correct. Very much like a Grandland.
  9. @__P The choice wasn't made because of number for cylinders. It was made because of supplier chain, because of installed production capacity, and above all because PSA went on cheap with Punch automated manual transmission which was ready for PSA engines. It would take time to made it suitable for GSE and/or GME.
  10. Yes, but 1.6 comes only as PHEV, not as MHEV. STLA Medium as 1.6 LHEV is overweight, around 1900 kg I think. And that's as P2 PHEV, P2P4 or P4 would be even heavier.
  11. New Stelvio is most likely around 4.85m in length Speaking about powertrains. 1.2 PureDreck? All other are expected to be blue whales. Very much overweight.
  12. Recon and Wagoneer S are both planned as BEV only. I'm not sure if they've made some changes.
  13. Guys... They have newly designed engines in GSE and GME. And what they did? Chose EB and EP engines over them on both sides of the pond to keep in the first place French engineering team and French supplier chain intact.
  14. @davos Shameful is to see completely wrong engine strategy and keeping PSA shite in production.
  15. And is coming into production more than 2 years later than initially planed.
  16. In my opinion we're underestimating influence of Peugeot family and French State on Stellantis and decisions they've made.
  17. 7 speed is not a double clutch. It's a single clutch transmission. Actually it has a 4 physical speeds, and dog clutch acts as a reductor and that way it has 6 or 7 speeds depending on application. The only reason is cheapness of making this transmission. I wouldn't exclude that cost of this even with electric motor is less that for Aisin 8 speed.
  18. @Alain Unfortunately we're seeing classic PSA mass market brand managing. Nothing new. This is so sad to see.
  19. Stellantis under Carlos the 2nd Le Cost Cutter killed a lot of engineering jobs especially at Auburn Hills.
  20. Give us FCA engines. They are here and they are ready. Speaking about 1.2 3 cylinder. To my eyes it seems that 1.5 Firefly 4 cylinders is a more compact engine, smaller in dimensions.
  21. Junior topic? Why not multilink for all versions? Why is it so small on the rear bench? Whey there is almost no sign of ex FCA engineering and/or suppliers? Why is it Peugeot-centric product? And we know that till this year Stellantis in general but above all brands like Opel and Citroen have more diminishing market share with each year. Record low year in 2023. And then French came in for leadership and product planing in general at the group level. Go figure.
  22. Put Lexus aside. But for example. Why would someone buy Junior instead of lets say Renault Capture? Cons and pros.
