  1. @Beckervdo I know it but for some reason they have fake news. New engine should be 2.0 330 PS BSG 48V MHEV.
  2. It should be a BSG 48V MHEV. Desirable versions of ZF 8HP MHEV and PHEV will be available in 2022. PHEV up to 160KW at 350V, MHEV up to 34kW at 52V https://www.zf.com/products/en/cars/products_55041.html
  3. I don't like this call and of course I prefer Canadians/Magna over Chinese/Punch.
  4. You are too much defending Manley. AFAIK Elkann is not so happy with some of Manley's calls. Than if you say that American market is important freezing of Alfa E-segment SUV program is contradicting. Not to mention that it was related to the next Grand Cherokee. If they wanted they could build it in the USA next to a Grand Cherokee.
  5. This is for front wheel drive based FCA cars. So for upcoming Tonale, also for Renegade, 500X, Tipo and Compass. ZF will stay for rear wheel drive cars. We will see it at the 2nd half of 2021. This is 48V P2 MHEV technology. FCA didn't have plans for 48V BSG/P0 MHEV on their FWD cars. The 2nd important novelty during the calendar 2021 is new engine, 1.5 liter GSE T4 DOHC.
  6. I've asked this some time ago but know I think that it's done deal. FCA will use hybrid Getrag DCT. It's 7HDT300.
  7. Actually at the time of crisis you just invest into the new models. Why? Such car makers will faster rebound after the crisis.
  8. Indian Compass does have SCR or at least it will have it. But they are also producing UK bound Compass which has SCR.
  9. It seems that the new 1.3 liter 130 PS engines is the same one as the new 150 PS engine. Both have maximum torque at just 1560 rpm Previous version with 150/180 PS had maximum torque at 1850 rpm. Are they using smaller turbo on these new engines?
  10. AFAIK on one line in Melfi they are producing Renegade and 500X. On the other one is Compass and Renegade PHEV.
  11. It's drama for North American market. Maybe not in Europe. Eventually 2.0 diesel will be back or it will be replaced by a P2 mild hybrids.
  12. Fiat Chrysler/Peugeot deal in spotlight after Exor setbacks https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-fca-exor-idUSKBN22Q1QI
  13. They are pushing PHEV for the time being. More will follow with MCA and we should expect P2 mild hybrids at that time. IMO, we now know base engines for Alfa Tonale.
  14. P2 48V is in the works. I repeat P2 48V. Or better said P2.5 48V. Google it. BSG 48V is not in the plans for FCA's FWD based cars. Someone on this forum had said that such technology will not hit the market before the second half of 2021.
  15. 48V BSG shouldn't be in the plans for FWD based FCA cars. P2 48V it is but AFAIK not before 2021. Maybe even late 2021.
  16. I have a question. Why is the upcoming 1.5 liter GSE T4 a DOHC engine? Is there any possibility that we will finally see DOHC+MultiAir from FCA?
