    It must have been certain for a while that the US Compass would be available as HEV. I remember that the press release that announced the production of the 1.6 HEV engine in America mentioned that it would be used in 2 Jeep models. It can only be Compass and Cherokee

    It will keep the SF90 chassis, but the design will be very different. Think of the difference between F12 and 812, or 458 and 488. It will be a new car. Also the V8 will be heavily renovated. And expect some interesting aerodynamic solutions at the rear

    My 2 cents is that there will not be a successor to the MCPura. It wasn't successful (to put it mildly) and Maserati hadn't had a mid-engined sportscar in its range for many years. Talking about character, the M9X won't be a SUV. It could be a very interesting car, like the Purosangue
