The Junior might get a third electric version. The battery info database lists different versions with same capacity but different output: 136 kW > Elettrica 156, 150 km/h 155 kW > Unknown. Is it really so bad in Italy? As D segment vehicles mostly get leased by company fleets instead of private buyers, the electro rate should be much higher than in B or C segments, in Europe. In North America, I tend to think that Alfa's sales are mostly around metropolitan areas at the coasts where electro sales are also much higher than the overall sales including mid-west indicates.

Mixed feelings here. Why is it so much rounder than the original? I don't like the hollow (dead fish eye) lights and the bulbous rear window thing. Too bad many cars now have a fixed glas roof. The roll roof added to the original's charm and all generations had it. Interior looks alright.

It's no evolution of the last Alfas, biggest departure is the side with different C pillar. But I see Scudetto, V creases on the hood, typical shoulder line, rear lip like a Spider series 3, 3x3 lights and more. More orientated to 70/80s Alfas than 00/10s Alfas. Technically it has great Alfa-typical steering and handling, but bread-and-butter engines apart from the Veloce. While emotions aside the 1.2 is much better than the entry level versions of 147, Mito, Giulietta, which consumed 200%. They could still offer 19 inch wheels which should bring a good compromise. But the bigger effect could come from some lowering. Are aftermarket springs on Italian market yet? Didn't see anything from Eibach or H&R so far.

If they will use STLA Small for premium C segment, they have to upgrade the specs that got presented in 2021. 500 km range is not enough for a family car in 2028. But are we sure the Pomigliano cars are C segment? They call the Junior "compact" as well. I don't think the current 1.2 Hybrid is a bad engine. They just need a stronger option above 136 hp.

What the heck is wrong about having 1 or 2 models in the main segments? A 3–4 model range is not enough to support a global brand in the long run. Alfa can't go on half-dead like in the last 20 years. They just have to get new customers, fishing in the small classic Alfisti pond is not enough.
