  1. I guess they didn't want to become too dependent on VW — therefore another partner this time. And Renault needs more volume.
  2. Is the Sport Speciale "Milano Cortina" at dealers already?
  3. Yes, the ICE is simply the entry-level, decoy offer for the 500. Both Ibrida and updated Elettrica were planned to start in 2025, according to the Italian production plan. A cheaper Elettrica would push the upselling of course. And they might bring a facelift with the update.
  4. I don't think a L7e vehicle will be very agile with 4 persons, but more speed than 45 km/h will be a game changer.
  5. With a fat plastic block to adjust it straight forward.
  6. Still lightyears ahead of the North American factories in terms of lighting, cleanness and worker outfits. And worker BMI. 😄
  7. I read that the 500 Elettrica is waiting for a LFP battery from this plant.
  8. So the rear logo stays after all. For me the Astra is Opel's best design on the street, maybe the best-looking current C hatchback on the market. Like other STLA cars it would benefit from a stronger (non-plugin) hybrid. 1.6 HEV – we're looking at you! And is there room for a bigger EV battery?
  9. I don't know if they really left A segment out but STLA Small was always planned to reach the C segment. Check the EV day presentation from 2021. Also, on the Italia plan from 2024 they list the 2030+ factory platforms and cars on it. For Pomigliano it's Small and new Pandina plus compacts but no word about Mini or City.
  10. But where do they use that name? I think it's a Clubalfa or Italpassion creation. I don't find it at any official materials. Also it's not among the current/upcoming platforms: https://www.stellantis.com/en/innovation/our-vehicle-platforms
  11. STLA City does only exist in the internet AFAIK – but in no Stellantis materials. eMini is still eMini. STLA Small was planned to go down to 370 cm, cover A to C segment according to the original STLA Platform presentation.
  12. Hmm, this looks like a London cab in B segment. Hope it's much better without the camouflage.
  13. I think at the low expected sales volumes it's wise to channel the equipment into fixed special series. You have the illusion of variety but can build all cars in the same configuration. After three months another configuration for all.
  14. They officially announced that (apart from end date).
  15. But why? You can do steer-by-wire with a classic wheel as well. What benefit does this offer? Will it get a screen later?
  16. But the 159 got sold off cheap after a few years. I remember offers for a well specced edition for 24.000 € at the Alfa website in Germany. It got an image of slow and heavy with the GM engines in the initial years and the 1.8 TBI came too late to fix that.
  17. Does Smart have a market in China? Sales are close to zero in Germany (former home) and I wonder why they continue to invest. Only chance of a brand comeback is a new 42.
  18. Keep in mind that those interest charges and scrapping conditions are more market specific than by brand/company. For example you get an Alfa for 2%, 1% or even 0% in Germany. https://www.alfaromeo.de/angebote
  19. Two-tone doesn't enhance the 600 looks secondo me, but I like the black air intake and light inserts. Are the seats from Junior without contrast stitching? They could give the integral Abarth standard seats to some other models.
  20. The picture doesn't show the actual special editions anyway. The Junior is an Intensa and not a Sport Speciale alias Milano Cortina.
  21. But only for Sales & Services. The whole unit is under Imparato if I remember right. Napolitano was pretty much downgraded. Remember that he also had been global Sales & Marketing Officer since June 2024.
  22. AmpR Small is not a native BEV platform. It is just the renamed EV variant of CMF-B. If the cars are designed to allow ICE variants is another question.
  23. I wonder – when Imparato is fully concentrated at Maserati – why does it need Ficili as COO in addition?
  24. That's the question. The unification of the name, marketing, contacts would make sense then. Same question for racing. At heritage Alfa seems stronger already. I wondered why the 33 Stradale wasn't built in Modena after 8C and 4C. Maybe they thought they needed all the capacity for MC20 or the skills for that high-end project were not there?
