With 1,190 kg of weight just as the i20 Coupe WRC, the power-to-weight ratio is one of the best in class. The all-new i20 N delivers a maximum speed of 230 km/h, and can go from 0‑100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. The engine offers flat power, which ensures high responsiveness and improved acceleration for even more fun on the road or on the racetrack. Flat power provides more torque and power at lower RPMs, thereby utilising more of the engine’s potential in everyday driving situations. The all-new i20 N keeps maximum torque between 1,750 and 4,500 RPM, and achieves maximum power between 5,500 and 6,000 RPM. This improves acceleration in the mid- and high-speed range and delivers consistent high performance in a variety of driving conditions.   2. Ciao a tutti, da qualche tempo la mia Afa 159 (del 2011, 2.0 MJTD, con solo circa 65,000km) ha iniziato a fare un rumore che mi preoccupa un po'. Soprattutto a freddo, se la faccio salire un po' di giri (diciamo, una partenza in salita, dove abito ce n'è molte), il turbo inizia a fare un rumore strano: una sorta di ronzio che cambia con il variare della pressione nel circuito, e che a volte sparisce quando il motore si scalda, a volte no. In genere però sparisce sempre se faccio un bel tratto a regime costante, in autostrada o simili. Chiariamo che non è il semplice "fischio" del turbocompressore! Quello l'ha sempre fatto, ovviamente, e non c'è nulla di strano. Dato che proprio in questo periodo mi sto chiedendo se non sia ora di cambiarla, vorrei cercare di capire se devo forse aspettarmi qualche sorpresa, o se avete suggerimenti o esperienze a riguardo.   3. Doppia geometria variabile: se n'è sentito parlare più di qualche volta, a mio avviso con poco fondamento. Sinceramente infatti devo ancora capire possa funzionare la G.V. sul lato compressore, visto che non ne vedo l'utilità. Che vantaggi potrebbe portare se a variare sono palette su statore come avviene per lo scarico... Qualcuno sa esattamente come funziona?

Un motore simile lo ha in produzione anche Toyota.   5. Salve, ho visto l'ultimo facelift della Giulietta e mi ha ispirato una versione v6 di 2000 cc che ho immaginato aggiungendo delle prese d'aria aggiuntive per raffreddare il turbo. Che ne pensate?
  6. Salve a tutti del forum e grazie agli amministratori per aver accettato la mia iscrizione! Vorrei da tutti voi che, come me, siete appassionati di auto, un consiglio sul mio prossimo acquisto; premetto innanzitutto che vi sarò grato se vorrete darmi dei pareri in quanto reali possessori dell'auto che mi consiglierete, e non per sentito dire, letto, visto o testato per 15 minuti presso l'autosalone. Allora comincio: l'auto che mi interessa deve essere del segmento C, lunga al massimo 430cm perché più grande non mi sta' in garage. I punti per me fondamentali sono: abitabilità (per 4 adulti non anoressici e non nani), insonorizzazione (mi piace ascoltare musica classica mentre guido e quindi non mi piacciono i fruscii, gli scricchiolii, e i rumori esterni oltre una certa soglia) e l'affidabilità. L'auto deve avere 5 porte e, anche se faccio molti km all'anno, vorrei un benzina, ben dotato, che non tentenni nei sorpassi o nei pendii montani. Quindi meglio se turbo e con almeno 120/140cv. Non mi importa se l'auto ha il baricentro basso (berlina) o altro (piccolo suv), l'importante è che non faccia l'effetto gondola. Se poi è convertibile a GPL o ha il 4x4 o entrambe le cose meglio. Chiedo la luna? forse.... Grazie 1000 a tutti quelli che sprecheranno un po' di tempo per me!

  8. Prendendo ad esempio come confronto il motore della civic type-r (2.0 da 200cv aspirato) e il tfsi della golf gti (2.0 turbo) secondo voi a parità di potenza massima qual'è il migliore? ed estendo il discorso in generale, a parità di potenza meglio turbo o aspirato?
  9. ...secondo voi che auto consuma di piu? per farvi capire meglio...avevo in mente ad esempio: - grande punto abarth (1.4 turbo 155 cv) - mini cooper S (1.6 turbo 175cv) - opel corsa OPC (1.6 turbo 192 cavalli) - per i 1.8 turbo nn so che esempi fare usciranno solo prossimamente, cmq per esempio 1.8 turbo del gruppo volksWagen. leggendo sui 'giornaletti' pare che consumino piu o meno uguale , ma stento a credere che, se la punto 1.4Turbo consuma circa 12/13km/l nel misto, la CORSA OPC faccia gli 11 .... cioè è un1.6 e ha 40 cv in piu!!! se consuma quasi uguale e costa uguale allora conviene la OPEL! (infatti a me attira un casino...) in linea teorica pero pensavo...essendo tutti turbo...cmq quello di cilindrata minore consumera sempre meno di quello di cilindrata superiore no? PREMETTENDO CHE IO NN FACCIO QUASI MAI AUTOSTRADA....(in tal caso beve meno il motore piu grosso) altra cosa che volevo chiedere....ma il motore della opel OPC sarà affidabile? a me un 1.6 con cosi tanti cavalli da l'idea di un motore fragile e che dopo pochi chilometri inizia a dare seri problemi.
