  1. I think this might be a good change. While the original Tonale front looks beautiful, the car needs some spice. I hope the rear becomes sharper as well. Don't know if it's possible to make the interior more Alfa-like, less bread-and-butter. And if you like the wheels or not – at least they offer something new. You can always switch to existing wheels. At last they invest in some facelift. Last we got (except coloured lines and LED lights) was the Mito bumper (that came too late). Last bigger facelifts were 156/147/166, right?
  2. My colleague got her GP Ibrida La Prima in lemon yellow yesterday. She was the 2nd (ibrida?) delivery by the dealer. I inspected this morning. Really well done, nice car for the segment. Great street presence, at least in that colour! She's over the moon with it, after driving a black Panda 1.2 for 10 years. She only wants 2nd boot floor/box when available, because it goes down really deep.
  3. So what does it show us? For sure: Upcoming light design with "compass" stripes in four directions and two 3D boxes at the end. Indications: STLA Small very flexible in dimensions, 82 kWh battery, electric AWD.
  4. You can't blame Stellantis for that. Giulietta, Renegade, Fiat B-segment — all should have had successors in development long before Stellantis was born. FCA decided against it in the 2010s. I remember that they also announced to give up A segment. It's not the fault of "the French". You can blame Stellantis for the big bet on BEV without a plan B (hybrids) in time. Others like Porsche did the same mistake but it's easier to handle from a strong position.
  5. I'd think it's a concept for the next Corsa. The car row from 1:00 is all Corsas. Edit: I just watched with sound. They clearly talk about a Corsa concept. No need to guess. 😁
  6. I always had the impression that Smart Car is just a stopgap and every small car will move to different versions of STLA Small when it's ready.
  7. I don't believe Astra is going to Pomigliano. Maybe a niche variant, but not the main hatchback/wagon. Some compact coupè/crossover. Where did that story come from at all? Building the core models in Germany is way too important for the brand image and political backup. I just read a recent interview with CEO Huettl who pointed out the importance. And Opel/Stellantis is just in the process to rebuild their German head office and 30,000 sqm R&D as a "Green Campus" in Rüsselsheim.
  8. secondo me no brand should leave opportunities to protect Lancia. Lancia is almost Italy only with tiny sales, future has to be seen. Apart from that Opel's style center is in Rüsselsheim, not Turin — so maybe the design teams can't crib so much like in Officina '83.
  9. I thought the compact 2028 is the Manta. Or should a Manta be D segment? Opel can be glad they don't have a late EMP2 car like the 408. That's not much of a success, is it?
  10. https://www.media.stellantis.com/em-en/opel/press/opel-teases-stunning-new-concept-car-for-iaa-mobility-2025 Just a general concept for future product direction or next step for the Manta that's allegedly still in the works? Or the next Corsa? If the rumour about an Opel from Pomigliano is true I suppose that's the model.
  11. The replacement of 2 segments with 1 car never works well. Current BMW X1 or VW Tiguan are still between 4.50 and 4.55, GLA and XC40 are shorter. So I hope Tonale stays where it is. If you love sporty premium D-SUVs and come from a RWD based Stelvio you won't be satisfied with a stretched compact.
  12. Is the 2.0 Evo actually used somewhere yet? What are the differences to the first 2.0 GME?
  13. Isn't the 1.6 the first Stellantis HEV that will debut in H2 with the Jeep Cherokee according to Antonio Filosa? Allegedly already produced in Dundee, Michigan: https://media.stellantisnorthamerica.com/newsrelease.do?id=6422&mid=
  14. Is Ciociaro Cassino? Is that so much smaller than Pomigliano? Well, Pomigliano is at least an original Alfa plant. Panda can move to Mirafiori then, where production with 500 is a no-brainer anyway. But the lines for STLA Large should be ready in Cassino, more or less.
  15. Do you have a source for these two claims? If they were true, there wouldn't be any excuse for late hybrid arrival.
  16. How? I just looked for articles and STLA Small production in Zaragoza is planned for H2 2027. Ypsilon is produced together with e-208 and Corsa and that should be the first cars to change. Maybe 2008, C4 and Mokka will go on until 2029, but in other plants.
  17. Doesn't make any economic sense though — if not combined with other models. The Tychy models yes, but nothing from Figueruelas AFAIK.
  18. So Delta does only exist on paper so far as the platform is still open. I guess they'll surprise us with a new Musa instead. 😜 I wonder what happens with Ypsilon production when the platform mates switch to STLA Small. Will they keep the line going for 10–15,000 cars a year? Or might it move to Tychy or a Smart Car (CMP variant) plant?
  19. The integrated navigation system is able to use car data. That makes a big different for electric cars with route planning, pre-heating the battery, station suggestions when battery gets low etc. And you get the view into the driver dashboard, which is not possible with standard CarPlay.
  20. I think the air intakes will be much more sculptured. Possible with the plate moved to center. Also the rear bumper insert is hopefully changed. Badges to be black/aluminium. I like the horizontal bars at the Scudetto, should be an option for the Junior too.
  21. That ASL concept looks rather similar to the N°8. Shouldn't No°7 be more of a classical SUV?
  22. Risultati commerciali in crescita per Alfa Romeo nel primo semestre 2025
  23. I don't see a future for an all-electric Alpine range in the current climate. With or without DeMeo.
  24. At least for Pandina you have to trade in an old car. Apart from that I'd say they take what they can everywhere. Sales of old Panda are low in Germany after 13 years and they have to conquer customers for Grande Panda after being absent from B segment.
  25. Well they (Olivier) changed their mind and they stay different models instead of generations. Panda just has to be cheaper for such an old construction and A segment. Current offers in Germany look fine: 13k for Pand(ina), 17k for GP. https://www.fiat.de/aktuelle-angebote
