  1. I 18-21 mesi sono in Germania, nel mercato casa svedese situazione leggermente migliore...solo 16-18 mesi 😝
  4. Alfa Romeo, DS, Lancia dealers get more time to switch to agency sales Stellantis has revised the timeline of its switch to an agency distribution model, a move that will give brands and dealers more time to adapt to the change. TURIN – Stellantis has revised the timeline of its switch to a so-called agency distribution model, a move that will give brands and dealers more time to adapt to the change. The rollout of the agency model, in which the automaker rather than the dealer holds the inventory and sells directly to the customer, will first occur in July 2023 in four small markets – Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, Stellantis said in a news release last week. It will apply to all brands that Stellantis sells in those markets. In a change announced last week by Stellantis, premium brands Alfa Romeo, DS Automobiles and Lancia, and commercial vans under the Citroen, Fiat Professional, Opel/Vauxhall and Peugeot brands across Europe will move to agency from January 2024, six months later than originally planned. “Switching to agency is an epochal change, and we welcome the idea to have more time to fine-tune all the details,” a dealer involved in the negotiations with Stellantis told Automotive News Europe. Stellantis first unveiled the plan to switch to an agency model in an interview with ANE in autumn 2021. Other automakers are also moving away from the traditional model in an effort to lower distribution costs, better control their inventories and gain closer contact to their customers. A Stellantis spokesman told ANE that the change in timing will permit dealers and the automaker to analyze the outcome of the agency model after six months in operation in the four pilot markets. The January 2024 start date for premium brands and vans will also coincide with the start of a new fiscal year, avoiding a situation in which some dealerships would operate under both the existing franchise contract and the new agency model. The two models have different margins: Franchise contracts have higher margins, because dealers must pay for inventory and branding costs, while the agency model’s margins are lower, because the automaker assumes the cost of inventory and branding. Stellantis plans to move its volume brands – Citroen, Fiat, Opel/Vauxhall and Peugeot -- to the agency model in the following 24 to 36 months, or in 2026-27. Moving to the agency model is part of Stellantis’ plan to reduce its distribution costs in Europe by 50 percent by 2030, as part of the Dare Forward 2030 strategy unveiled in March. Under Stellantis's agency model, it would cover all distribution costs, including inventory and incentives. These expenses are estimated to account for about 30 percent of a vehicle's list price. It would also reduce the margin given to dealers per car, which is now 9 percent of the vehicle's price, with dealers now free to use part of that margin for discounts. The money they earn is also boosted by volume bonuses, another cost that the agency model would end. The new model could see dealers' margin for selling a car fall to 4 to 5 percent, Stellantis' head of sales and marketing for Europe, Maria Grazia Davino, told ANE in November 2021. Even small changes to the level of discounting on the vehicle and the financial support provided by the automaker to the dealer "are worth hundreds of millions of euros," Steve Young, managing director of UK-based automotive retail research specialist ICDP, said. Uwe Hochgeschurtz, Stellantis' chief operating officer for Europe, said in the news release last week that the group aimed to promote a "sustainable" distribution model and all stakeholders would benefit. Stellantis said it ran a comparative economic simulation showing that, under the agency model, dealers would enjoy "at least equivalent profitability" and reduced exposure to risks. Premium brands take the lead Luxury and premium brands are among the early movers to an agency model in Europe. (Franchise laws in the U.S. generally do not allow for such a sales model.) In December 2021, Mercedes-Benz announced that it had reached agreement with its European dealers to transition to an agency model, which it refers to as direct sales. It is expected to be rolled out in Germany and the U.K. next year. Britta Seeger, the Mercedes Benz management board member responsible for sales, said at the time that by the end of 2023, more than half of new Mercedes vehicles available in Europe "should be sold under the agency model." Mercedes conducted direct sales pilot projects in Austria, Sweden and South Africa. Smart, a joint venture between Mercedes and Geely Group of China, is using an agency model for sales in Europe of the new range, starting with the #1 small crossover. Existing Smart models such as the ForTwo as still sold in Europe under the existing franchise dealer contract with Mercedes. BMW and Mini may switch to the agency model in Europe, BMW Group's sales and marketing boss Pieter Nota told ANE in May. Autohaus magazine had reported in March that BMW planned to end its authorized dealer system in Europe from 2024 for Mini and from 2026 for the core BMW brand and instead rely on agency sales for new cars. Nota said that the timing is still under discussion and that the agency model could be applied to the BMW and Mini brands, but not to the company's Rolls-Royce ultraluxury brand, which will stay with the current franchised dealer model. Audi uses an agency model for its e-tron electric cars only. (ANE)

  6. BMW Group to invest more than 2 billion euros in Hungarian Plant Debrecen by 2025 +++ In addition to vehicle production, BMW Group builds high-voltage battery assembly at Plant Debrecen +++ More than 500 additional jobs to be created by 2025 +++ Production of NEUE KLASSE starts here +++ Debrecen, Hungary. TheBMW Group is building a high-voltage battery assembly for the vehicles of the NEUE KLASSE at its site in Hungary. The battery assembly will be located on the site of the Debrecen vehicle plant, which started construction about six months ago. The company will create more than 500 additional jobs and invest over two billion euros in the construction and launch of the entire plant by the end of 2025. Milan Nedeljković, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Production, said: “In Debrecen, we are building the most advanced plant in the world. With our iFACTORY, we are setting new industry standards for vehicle production. Our investments underline our systematic approach to implementing e-mobility.” The new announcements were also welcomed by the Hungarian government. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, said: “The BMW Group plant in Debrecen is a symbol of the successful Hungarian economic policy of the past twelve years. The plant combines environmental protection and competitiveness, and that is much more than we have originally planned.” BMW Group hiring and training in Debrecen. “We are currently recruiting new colleagues locally and from all over Hungary, so we can build the future of BMW Group Plant Debrecen together,” explains Hans-Peter Kemser, President and CEO of BMW Manufacturing Hungary Kft. The plant, together with local partners in education, will launch a dual education programme in autumn 2023 at its in-house Training Centre. László Papp, the Mayor of Debrecen, emphasised the role of the BMW Group for the city: „With its investment in Debrecen, in addition to creating new jobs, the BMW Group makes a long-term commitment to the community of our city. We are building a thriving future together.” Short distances: high-voltage battery assembly at vehicle plant. The assembly of high-voltage batteries will be located on the site of the Debrecen vehicle plant. Markus Fallböhmer, Senior Vice President of Battery Production at the BMW Group, explains: “The BMW iFACTORY is also about ensuring short distances for logistics. The close link between battery assembly and vehicle production is part of our strategy.” In Debrecen, the next-generation round battery cells will be assembled into a battery housing – a metal frame, which is later integrated into the underbody of the car. The official start of production for the sixth generation high-voltage batteries will be in 2025 – in parallel with the start of vehicle production. All batteries for the vehicles from Plant Debrecen will be assembled on site. The new production facility will extend over an area of about 140,000 m². Construction work recently began. Gen6 batteries: major steps in customer benefit and sustainability. The battery is decisive for the competitiveness of electric vehicles. With the next generation of batteries for the NEUE KLASSE, range will improve by up to 30 percent, and the charging speed will be up to 30 percent faster. The BMW Group is particularly focused on keeping the carbon footprint and consumption of resources for production as low as possible, starting in the supply chain. Cell manufacturers will use cobalt, lithium and nickel that include a percentage of secondary material, i.e. raw materials that are not newly mined, but already in the loop, in production of battery cells. Combined with the commitment to use only green power from renewable energies for production of battery cells, the BMW Group will reduce the carbon footprint of battery cell production by up to 60 percent. 11. Stellantis starts European dealer network shake-up As part of its efforts to cut costs and support investment for electrification, Stellantis will move toward an agency sales model. Stellantis said it would reorganize its European dealers' network in July next year, starting in Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. "The rest of Europe will progressively follow in the implementation of the new distribution scheme," Stellantis said on Thursday. As part of its efforts to cut costs and support investment for electrification, Stellantis last year said it would end all current sales and services contracts with European dealers for all of its 14 brands, from June 2023. The plan is to move toward an "agency model" in which carmakers take more control of sales transactions and prices while dealers focus on deliveries and servicing, no longer acting as the customer's contractual partner. Uwe Hochgeschurtz, Stellantis' chief operating officer for Europe, said the group aimed to promote a "sustainable" distribution model and all stakeholders would benefit. Stellantis said it ran a comparative economic simulation showing that, under the new planned distribution model, dealers would enjoy "at least equivalent profitability" and reduced exposure to risks. A spokesman for the company said Stellantis' light commercial vehicle brands would enter the new distribution structure from Jan. 1, 2024. (Reuters)
  12. Tu ti riferisci al fatto che Ferrari fino adesso non ha iscritto per 2026?

  18. Peugeot to debut Inception concept at CES in 2023 Peugeot will reveal the full-electric Inception concept at CES in Las Vegas in January 2023. PARIS -- Peugeot will reveal its Inception concept vehicle, which will hint at the Stellantis brand’s future design direction, at CES in Las Vegas on Jan. 5. The concept “will give a taste of the next generation of models,” Peugeot said in a news release. The brand’s future models will be headlined by the next-generation 3008 compact SUV, which will be revealed next year. Peugeot did not offer any images of the Inception. It said the concept would show how Peugeot is “taking advantage of ‘BEV-by-design’ next-generation electric platforms.” Those platforms include STLA Small, STLA Medium and STLA Large, with the first vehicles on the architecture expected to debut in early 2024. Peugeot will become a full-electric only brand in Europe by 2030. The Inception will be presented in Las Vegas by CEO Linda Jackson and design chief Matthias Hossann, former head of Peugeot’s concept cars. It was not displayed at the Paris auto show in October, where Peugeot’s offerings were led by the new 408 compact fastback. Peugeot's last major concept vehicle was the E-Legend, a full-electric coupe shown in 2018 that evoked the 504 Coupe from the 1970s. Even though the Inception will be revealed in the U.S., Peugeot has not said it will re-enter the North American market, which it left in the early 1990s. Under PSA Group, which merged with Fiat Chrysler in 2021 to form Stellantis, the brand was to return to the U.S. by the mid-2020s in an effort to expand PSA’s reach beyond Europe. But that plan was superseded by the merger, which brought the U.S.-based Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands to the combined group. (ANE)
  19. Il brand, con una Lambo ...il brand per se...almeno in Europa centrale/nord se hai una professione seria non ti potresti mostrare con una Lambo che in vista di molti una macchina per tamarri e gente con professione dubbiosa oppure semicriminale.
