How do you recognize an Alfa from behind in general? Actually I think the Junior rear has more distinct elements than other Alfas, that could connect the range: 3+3 light signature, the black spoiler element. You just have to get used to it. Of course black logo and light-spoiler on black car is like a balaclava.

I do agree, a postponed model hurts Alfa much more than BMW. Those dreamy PowerPoint product plans ended with FCA though. Alfa under Stellantis promised one new car every year for the first five years and so far they delivered with Tonale, 33 Stradale, Junior. Currently Stelvio, Giulia and Tonale II are in the official pipeline, plus the study of "E-Jet". Anything else is just rumours and dreams.

Your perception might be playing tricks on you. They have delays as well. I think of recent VW and Audi models that have delays of many months and the much hyped Trinity project that got delayed again from 2026 to 2032. It's not. Just continuous production of Stelvio until Gen 2 is ready would have been nice. Maybe we can compare the new Stelvio with introduction of STLA Large 800V and STLA Brain plus AutoDrive to BMW's software-defined "Neue Klasse" project with iX3 as the first product. After teasing the platform project for years, the car will be presented at IAA in September. Let's see when it's on the street.

The German Alfa Press release from January which looked back at 2024 already mentioned the Stelvio premiere as the closure of 2025. So no change since then at least. But all the American STLA Large models (Charger, Wagoneer S, Recon) got postponed for a few months and it's important that STLA Brain really works when Alfa introduces this break through. I just don't understand why they can't offer Stelvio and Giulia without a gap. Don't they have two lines in Cassino? Can't the Alfas and the Grecale run on the same? Maybe sales are simply too low for the effort.

So they can sell another 27 Grecales until then. The latest Maserati designs are simply too boring for a brand which is regarded as exotic, expensive and bitchy. As an underdog, they won't win anyone with "save" designs. And they shouldn't have gone down to D segment while leaving their classic F segment space QP empty.
