The continuous horizontal lighting signature underlines the vehicle’s width and future-oriented appearance, while carefully integrated details and flush surfaces reinforce its modern, electric identity. Wide sliding doors and a large rear opening support easy access for passengers and luggage, whether in everyday urban use or during longer leisure journeys. Lineup and variantsAt launch, Hyundai introduces two configurations of STARIA Electric to reflect different usage profiles: LUXURY (7-seater) for private, family and leisure use WAGON (9-seater) for larger families, group travel or shuttle operation Powertrain and PerformanceFrom everyday commuting to long-distance travel, STARIA Electric combines quiet operation with confident performance. The 800-volt high-voltage system used in STARIA Electric, which is rare in this segment and already established in IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6 and IONIQ 9, enables rapid charging and consistent power delivery for predictable everyday use. The electric drivetrain contributes to a calm and refined driving experience, with very low noise and vibration levels inside the cabin. Structural enhancements to the suspension and additional sound-absorbing materials further improve ride comfort and interior quietness, particularly on longer journeys or at motorway speeds. Optimized front and rear suspension tuning enhance driving stability and ride quality, ensuring confident handling under varying load conditions. Together, these measures create a relaxed and predictable driving character that suits both private and professional use. What is the core powertrain concept behind STARIA Electric?STARIA Electric is equipped with an 84-kWh battery and a 160-kW electric motor driving the front wheels. The 800-volt electrical system allows high power flow with minimal heat generation, enabling repeated fast charging and reliable performance on extended journeys. Proven battery modules from Hyundai’s latest EVs contribute to durability and thermal efficiency. How fast can STARIA Electric charge? On long journeys, short charging stops make a difference. Under optimal DC fast-charging conditions, STARIA Electric can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in around 20 minutes. For everyday charging at home or work, an 11 kW AC onboard charger is available. A heated charging-port cover improves usability in cold conditions. What range performance does STARIA Electric deliver in everyday use? With an estimated WLTP range of up to 400 kilometers, STARIA Electric ranks among the longest-range electric MPVs in its class. The combination of battery capacity, efficient motor calibration and 800-volt architecture delivers stable, predictable energy use across urban driving, motorway travel and mixed conditions. What can drivers expect from STARIA Electric’s on-road behavior?Smooth, linear acceleration is essential when carrying passengers and luggage, and it comes from instant electric torque. Predictable handling is supported by front wheel drive, while the vehicle’s high speed capability allows relaxed motorway cruising. How does STARIA Electric cope with high payloads?STARIA Electric is engineered to deliver stable and confident performance even when fully loaded. Its robust electric drivetrain provides consistent torque delivery, ensuring smooth acceleration and predictable handling under high payload conditions. A reinforced body structure and a suspension setup tuned for load-bearing applications support ride comfort and vehicle stability, while intelligent energy management helps maintain efficiency and driving range during demanding everyday use. Optimized thermal management systems, including advanced cooling and battery conditioning, help maintain consistent performance during high-load operation or repeated fast-charging sessions. This ensures reliable towing capability without compromising driving comfort or overall system efficiency. Design and ExteriorSTARIA Electric carries the STARIA design language into the electric era based on Hyundai’s “Inside-Out” approach, which extends the spatiality and openness of interior design to the exterior, creating an exterior image that stands out with high-tech sensibility. The signature one-curve silhouette, low beltline and expansive glass surfaces create a distinctive appearance while forming the foundation for the vehicle’s generous interior space. What defines STARIA Electric’s design approach?EV-specific elements, including a closed front design and simplified surfaces, enhance aerodynamic efficiency and give STARIA Electric a clear electric identity. A tall roofline, two wide sliding doors and a large rear opening simplify access and loading, whether for everyday errands, leisure gear or passenger transport. Extensive glazing enhances visibility and creates a bright, open atmosphere on longer journeys. The front-mounted charging port improves convenience at public charging points and campsites alike. Across the front STARIA Electric also introduces a continuous horizontal light band. This single, uninterrupted lighting element enhances visual coherence, emphasizes vehicle width and contributes to a more clearly defined, technology-oriented front design. Which wheel options and colors are available? All variants feature 17-inch wheels optimized for comfort, efficiency and load capability. Eight exterior colors are available: Abyss Black Pearl, Creamy White, Classy Blue Pearl, Shimmering Silver Metallic, Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Cast Iron Brown Pearl, Dynamic Yellow, Galaxy Maroon Pearl. Depending on trim level, multiple interior color schemes can be selected: Black one-tone, Black/Ecru Beige two-tone, Black/Anthracite Brown two-tone, Black/Bordeaux Brown two-tone, Gray/Rotorua Cream two-tone. Interior and RoominessInside, STARIA Electric opens as a calm, light-filled living space designed to make room for people, movement and everyday life. A wide, horizontal interior layout creates a strong sense of visual clarity and openness, allowing occupants to instantly feel oriented and at ease. The multi-open-space interior concept, a defining element of the STARIA line-up, is further enhanced by the packaging advantages of the electric powertrain, resulting in one of the most spacious cabins in its segment. Generous headroom and legroom across all seating rows, combined with a flat floor layout and intelligently integrated storage solutions, allow the interior to adapt effortlessly to changing needs. Large glass surfaces, a low beltline and expansive window areas flood the cabin with natural light, reinforcing the airy and welcoming atmosphere. The feeling of space is not limited to dimensions alone, but is experienced in the ease of movement, the open sightlines and the relaxed seating geometry throughout the vehicle. Whether used for family travel, professional passenger transport or leisure activities, STARIA Electric offers an interior environment that feels open, calm and surprisingly flexible. Functionality is seamlessly integrated into this sense of roominess. Dual 12.3-inch digital displays combine the instrument cluster and infotainment system, presenting key information clearly and intuitively within the driver’s natural field of view. Physical controls for frequently used functions ensure confident, distraction-free operation while driving, striking a deliberate balance between digital innovation and everyday usability. In higher specifications, features such as the column-mounted Shift-by-Wire selector further enhance ergonomics while freeing up valuable storage space in the centre area. Throughout the cabin, thoughtfully designed details support practical daily use, from intelligently placed storage compartments to seating layouts that prioritize comfort, accessibility and flexibility. These elements make STARIA Electric equally well suited for families, shuttle services and active lifestyles, turning interior space into a functional asset rather than a mere dimension. At launch, Hyundai introduces two seating variants tailored to different customer needs: 7-seater LUXURY for family and leisure applications, focuses on passenger comfort while maintaining high flexibility. The spacious cabin allows generous legroom and headroom across all seating rows, while adjustable seating layouts enable the interior to adapt seamlessly to changing travel and storage requirements and a luggage capacity of up to 435 litres behind third row. 9-seater WAGON for larger families, groups or shuttle services, offers a luggage capacity of up to 1,303 litres behind third row. Thanks to sliding and foldable seating, the interior can be quickly reconfigured to balance passenger comfort and cargo space, making it ideal for larger families, group travel and shuttle services. Which seat features are available?Depending on the selected variant, Hyundai STARIA Electric offers a range of seat comfort features tailored to different usage profiles. The Wagon variant offers both heating and ventilation for the front seats as an option. In the Luxury configuration, heated and ventilated front seats as well as heated and ventilated second-row seats are fitted as standard, delivering a higher level of comfort for longer journeys and multi-passenger travel. How is space arranged inside STARIA Electric? The long wheelbase and tall body structure provide generous headroom and legroom across all rows. Hyundai STARIA Electric is equipped as standard with two sliding side doors and a lift-up tailgate, ensuring easy access for passengers and effortless loading in everyday use. This configuration is available across all passenger variants, providing convenient entry to all seating rows as well as practical access to the rear luggage area. Depending on the selected version, electrically powered operation further enhances comfort: in the 9-seater configuration, power sliding doors and a powered tailgate are available as an option, while the Luxury variant features electrically operated sliding doors and tailgate as standard, delivering added convenience for frequent passenger use and daily mobility. How does STARIA Electric enhance comfort on journeys? The quiet operation of the electric drivetrain reduces noise levels in the cabin, contributing to a calm and relaxed travel experience. A bright interior and a spacious layout further increase comfort for passengers in all rows, whether during daily commuting, family trips or outdoor activities. Some infotainment and air conditioning systems are operated by physical buttons, to further enhance operational convenience and intuition while driving. A horizontal centre air vent is applied to the centre fascia to enhance climate and space comfort, and a large open tray storage space at the top of the high crash pad improves in-car space utilization. In addition, a passenger assistance handle at the driver 's seat further enhances the convenience of getting on and off. Technology and FeaturesHyundai offers the best level of convenience in its class by applying various infotainment and convenience specifications. Whether used for weekday routines, family excursions or shuttle operation, STARIA Electric integrates digital features that make daily mobility intuitive and flexible. Its technology focus centres on ease of use, clear information flow and practical functionality for life on the move. How is connected, up-to-date driving achieved in STARIA Electric?STARIA Electric is equipped with Hyundai’s latest Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), to enable faster response speeds of key functions such as AVNT (audio, video, navigation), and vehicle settings. A column-mounted Shift-by-Wire system frees up space in the centre area and contributes to an open, uncluttered cabin layout. To further support communication and awareness inside the vehicle, STARIA Electric offers a rear view and talk function. A discreet camera mounted behind the first row transmits live images of the rear seating area to the AVN display, allowing the driver to keep an eye on rear passengers. At the same time, the integrated talk function amplifies the driver’s voice through the rear speakers, enabling clear communication with passengers in the second and third rows without turning around or raising one’s voice. Lancia Ypsilon 2024
