Nissan GT-R: per Porsche 25" più lenta al 'Ring

A proposito di tempi al Ring e Nissan GT-R, come dicevo da tempo...leggete un pò qua:

Porsche has accused Nissan of cheating in the GT-R's record bid at the Nurburgring racetrack.

Porsche has just run its own back-to-back tests with the Japanese company's GT-R supercar and says it could not get within 25 seconds of Nissan's claimed record time of seven minutes 29 seconds in April.

It also found its 911 Turbo and GT2 were both quicker than the GT-R.

"This wonder car with 7:29 could not have been a regular series production car," says August Achleitner, the 911 product chief for Porsche, speaking to the CARSguide at the Australian press preview of the latest 911 Cabrio.

"For us, it's not clear how this time is possible. What we can imagine with this Nissan is they used other tyres."

He believes the time achieved by Nissan with ex-Formula One driver Toshio Suzuki would only be possible with a semi-slick race-style tyre.

Achleitner says Porsche took a standard GT-R, running on regular road tyres, and ran it around the Nurburgring within two hours of its own cars, on the same day with exactly the same weather conditions.

He says there was no tweaking of any kind and the GT2 and Turbo both ran on regular Porsche road tyres, the Michelin Sport Cup.

"We bought the car in the US. We drove a GT-R with new tyres," he says.

Achleitner was initially protective of the exact lap times, which were run during a program when Porsche also compared its upcoming four-door Panamera with a range of potential rivals.

But he eventually revealed his team clocked the GT-R at 7 minutes 54 seconds, with the 911 Turbo managing 7:38 and the GT2 getting down to 7:34.

The laps were not run by Porsche's usual hot-lap specialist, former world rally champion and race winner Walter Rohrl, but one of the company's chassis development engineers who is an expert on the Nurburgring.

Achleitner says the back-to-back comparison was run because Porsche was concerned by Nissan's claims for the GT-R, which is heavier than the 911 with similar power.

"The Nissan is a good car. I don't want to make anything bad with my words," he says.

"It's a very consistent car. But this car is about 20 kilos heavier than the Turbo . . ."

In the end, Porsche believes its testing has achieved the right lap times for the Skyline GT-R and benchmarked it against its own 911 heroes in the right context.

"For us it has been clearly the result. This technical puzzle now fits together. With the other numbers we had problems to understand it," he says.

I miei sospetti trovano così conferma.

il 7 e 29 versus 7 e 44 PRESCINDE TROPPI FATTORI:

-Pilota (coon possibilità di vedere dove sbaglia o meno)

-Giornata

-Messe a punto fini

io qui ho dubbi non su gtr..ma su QUALSIASI macchina....che poi fuori dal concessionario non faccia 7 e 29 con NESSUNO alla guida non ci piove.

Poi sulle specchietto delle allodole ok...loro cercavano pubblicità e per averla bisognava veramente andare forte..da bravi jap si son messi a posto per poter veramente ANDAR FORTE col materiale che avevano (Suzuki e la Gtr euro spec)

però non hanno fatto le cose di cui sono accusati in giro (o da Porsche)

Se non si è chiari in ciò che si propone, è palese alla lunga ricevere critiche.

IMHO lo ha cercato di conseguenza a nissan.. e tutta la tiritera dei tempi di efettuati da Gt-r...

La critica si annulla da sola....Porsche stessa con un altro prodotto, si giutifica da sola..

non ho capito la distinzione tra gente scema o non scema....

per me sono ANNI che redattori di riviste tedesche o gente vicina a Porsche questi giochetti al Ring li fa....

adesso arrivano questi qua a far ste cose e si grida allo scandalo

i tempi al Ring per me valgono quello che valgono (poco)* però non è che Nissan ha fatto niente di nuovo.

io non vedo scandalo...tranne forse organizzare conferenze stampa per sbandierare....però quello è una questione di classe, non di onestà in più o in meno....

però per far parlare (vedi qui ) forse dovevano per forza far così

* è il Ring che vale come pista perchè è veramente speciale e puoi fare confronti DIRETTI (cioè girare insieme e scambiarsi d'auto) e capire molto di una macchina

Guarda... non hai preso bene il punto,forse perchè probabilemnte confuso dai discorsi di certa gente non so....

Porsche, da metà anni '90, ha reso possibile, anche grazie sicuramente all'informazione di certe testate automobilistiche di informare il lettore di cosa erano in grado di ottenere le proprie vetture nel loro anello di casa.

Un pò è stato, negli anni dichiarato da ciò che Rorhl ha divulgato alle testate un pò quello che è stato divulgato ufficialmente.

Ricordati una cosa molto importante, che da anni a questa parte Porsche ha, ed è, dovuta rimanere dentro alcuni paramenti di confronto e proporzionaili allo sviluppo dei pacchetti, che da come dicevo, a cavallo del '90 ad oggi si sono susseguiti, nelle varie versioni 964, 993, 996 e oggi 997.

Bene, avendo tutto un pacchetto ti tempi, e tutto un pacchetto di sviluppo, e IMHO facile intuire dove hanno mentito (se così possimo dire) o dove han dichiarato dalla parte onesta.

Secondo me, riferito a Turbo, partendo da una base, che 993 Turbo era in grado di effettuare un giro da 8 e 12, oggi una 997 Gt2 si permette di arrivare quasi a 7 e 30. Non vedo DOVE Porsche abbia mai fatto carte false nella dichiarazione dei loro giri al Ring, scusa...

(lo stesso vale per le RS e GT3 e produzione normale)

Insomma,c'è una certa linea di collegamento, una correlazione tra un pacchetto e l'altro, solo in adeguamento, suvvia....

IMHO è Nissan maggiormente che si è butatta alla ricerca di mangiare il mondo SUBITO.... per poi livellarsi più in alto (sempre ottimo Cmq)

Basti pensare, ad esempio, alla Carrera GT.

Non ha mai parlato di riscontri cronometri diversi da quelli noti, compresi cioè tra i 7.28 e i 7.32, e quando a Basseng hanno dato una vettura privata, ha ottenuto proprio 7.28.

Questo dimostra che la Porsche è stata assolutamente onesta.
