[h=2]Doesn't appear bound for production[/h]Audi has carved a nice little niche for themselves by turning the A4 and A6 Avant into ruggedized Allroad models. With this in mind, our artists have whipped up a rendering of an A3 Allroad.

Envisioned to battle the Volvo V40 Cross Country, the model has a familiar appearance but is distinguished by a new front bumper, plastic wheel arches and aluminum side skirts. There's also roof rails, an increased ride height and a revised grille with vertical chrome accents.

While the model is undeniably attractive, Audi's Australian General Manager of Corporate Communications told Drive "There’s no official word at all about an A3 Allroad-type vehicle." Anna Burgdorf went on to say "For someone wanting an off-road-styled car in the small segment, we suggest a Q3 with an off-road pack which is almost identical to this vehicle.’’
