Dipende da cosa ti aspetti, ma a me personalmente ha una velocità che tende a dare fastidio.

Non tanto l'ambiente, che funziona bene, ma il deploy di applicazioni non banali, magari java, ha tempi fastidiosi.

La userei per sviluppare solo come macchina di backup.

Beh, quello sicuramente :D

È anche però un discorso di requisiti: un mio ambiente di sviluppo satura come niente 8gb di ram, ma non so cosa sviluppi tu :)
