Nel 2012 volskwagen presentò un piccolo suv di nome Taigun grande poco più di 3.8 metri.

Ora Volkswagen presenta il suo Taigun, che altri non è che è il T-Cross per il mercato Indiano. La base però è la versione a passo lungo della T-Cross che Volkswagen vende in diverse zone del mondo (MQB A0).

A muoverlo un 1,5 litri turbo benzina da 130 CV dotato di tecnologia di disattivazione dei cilindri. VW afferma che Taigun farà 0- 100 km / h in 9,9 secondi e raggiungerà una velocità massima di 183 km / h. Un motore diesel non sarà disponibile, Autocar India riporta l'utilizzo del medesimo 1.5 Turbo ma in abbinata al metano.

The made for India mid-sized SUV, Volkswagen Taigun is a perfect combination of style, practicality and sophistication for a modern Indian consumer. Built on the MQB A0 IN platform, Taigun will be up to 95% localized and powered by TSI engine with two engine options, 1L TSI and 1.5L TSI and three transmissions offering a wide array of choices to the customers. Se nella versione indiana mettono il vero faro posteriore su tutta larghezza mi arrabbio, lo voglio anche sulla versione UE.

Interessante la motorizzazione 1.5 130cv che sembra verrà proposta anche a metano, che cosa cambia rispetto all'1.5 proposto in UE? 

Sarebbe interessante anche per T-CROSS/Arona/Kamiq come motorizzazione a metano.

Ecco la variante di produzione. Il faro anteriore è quello del Tiguan pre FL o semplicemente si sono ispirati molto?

L'avevo totalmente rimossa! Quindi la Skoda Katuxa non ha nemmeno la fiancata proprietaria, perché condivisa con questa variante indiana (oddio, adesso ogni volta che scrivo "variante" penso ad un patogeno..).
