Io penso e spero, che a dipendenza del successo che possa avere questa nuova Twingo in Renault (nonostante il probabile veto da parte di MB) possa comunque decidere di fare la versione RS

Anche perché immagino che oltr'alpe in tunerzz ci metteranno relativamente poco a tirare fuori versioni più pepate

Di suo twing mi piace poco ed anche meno, però in veste GT e con 'sto motore posteriore che sa tanto di Renault 5 Turbo (o era la maxxi turbo? mi confondo)... hmmm salgono le pippe a mille.... ...

[h=2]Won't debut until 2016[/h] In a recent interview, Renaultsport bosses have confirmed a sports version of the third generation Renault Twingo is planned.

Speaking to Autocar ahead of the Moscow Motor Show, Patrice Ratti, RS boss, said such a car is considered and that the main challenge of the project is extracting more power from the model’s three-cylinder engines.

The standard Twingo is powered by a 0.9-liter TCe turbocharged gasoline engine outputting 90 PS (66 kW) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft) and a naturally-aspirated 1.0-liter SCe 70 unit which offers 70 PS (51 kW) and 91 Nm (67 lb-ft).

Ratti also commented that the hotter Twingo would be badged as the GT, not the RS, because the power will unlikely top the 133 hp (98 kW) of the previous generation RS. As reported before, the new French pocket-rocket will probably top at 110 - 120 PS (81 - 88 kW), just like the Brabus-modified ForTwo.

Autocar also reports work on the model is at a very early stage, but spy photos have already showed the car will come with an additional air intake below the front grille and a dual exhaust setup at the back.

The hotter Twingo could arrive as early as 2016.

Comunque una potenza tra i 110 e 120 cv su una cosetta come questa non sono pochini e un po di verve dovrebbero dargliela

Nutro perplessità sullo 0.9 tricilindrico, proprio non ce la faccio a digerirlo.

Poi vabbè è una segmento A pepata, frega nulla, però a questi livelli diventa quasi un'auto a sè stante viste le premesse meccaniche.
