[h=2]Called HQ3 Cross[/h]Brand new Chinese carmaker Qoros has released a clip previewing a future sporty compact SUV.

The HQ3 Cross will ride on the sedan's platform that was developed in collaboration with Austrian firm Magna Steyr. It is expected to be 4.6 meters (181 inches) long and could possibly get a 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter TGDI engine that was co-developed with Chery. This powericon1.png unit will be connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed dual-clutch unit.

The first model to be launched by Qoros will be the GQ3 sedan which will go on sale in late 2013 in China, followed by Europe in early 2014. It will be 4.7 meters (185 inches) long, 1.8 meters (70.8 inches) wide and 1.42 meters (55.9 inches) tall, with a wheelbase of 2.7 meters (106.2 inches). The sedan along with all upcoming Qoros models will be engineered to get maximum NCAP crash ratings.

Qoros says that in 2015 they will launch a performance SUV by the name of XQ3 that will be 4.8 meters long.
