La C450 AMG sarà probabilmente presentata a Detroit

[h=2]Entry-level performance line will battle Audi S & BMW M Performance models[/h]According to a recent report, Mercedes will introduce the C450 AMG at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Designed to slot between the C400 and C63 AMG, the C450 AMG will be the first in a series of performance models that don't receive the full AMG treatment. As a result, the car will only feature minor styling changes and an upgraded engine that doesn't offer the same performance as full-fledged AMG derivatives. In the case of the C450 AMG, it is expected to be an upgraded twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that develops approximately 367 bhp (274 kW).

The entry-level performance line is expected to expand over the years and eventually include versions of the CLA-, E- and GLK-Class.
