RENAULT'S SECRET ALL-NEW 4X4

Renault has plans to get a sizeable cut of the lucrative SUV market with an all-new high-tech 4x4 which will go on sale in 2006.

Renault has said before that it won't build a successor to the Scenic RX4 SUV, which wasn't too big a sales hit. Instead the French car manufacturer will build a complete new off-roader with its own identity.

According to Auto Express Renault is considering naming its new SUV, Kilimandjaro, the French spelling of the legendary African Peak.

The Kilimandjaro will share its underpinnings with the award-winning Megane. Insiders say that Renault is also taking some technology from its Japanese alliance partner, Nissan.

This French SUV promises to be a real versatile number and will have real off-road ability.

It will also come with a range of engines which will include Renault's 1.5 and 1.9-litre diesels

ma vare, se trovi qualcuno abile con photoshop e con un po' di fantasia ti fa' anche il SUV fiat....

Non è vero dietro è come il prototipo be-bop...e poi renault è sempre in evoluzione....se fa sempre la stessa linea si critica...se nn centra cn le linee attuali anche...secondo me lo stile di questa kilimanjaro...più cross-over che suv è fantastico.
