Beijing Auto Show: Changan Xingqing concept

Resembling a neon-green, modernized Honda CRX, this is the ChangAn Xingqing concept car expected to be unveiled this weekend at the Beijing Auto Show.

We hope to have more info about this diminutive two-door when the show opens, but the above illustration provides a little teaser for what will hopefully be a fully-formed concept.

ChangAn showed an intriguing concept two years ago in Beijing called the Chinese Dragon. That car is pictured after the jump, along with another rendering of the Xingqing.

Changan unveils Xingqing at Auto China 2006

Further on our previous news release, Chang'an Automobile introduced its new Xingqing concept at the Auto China Show today.

Xingqing which roughly translates as clear sky was inspired by the romantic mood which fills people when they look up into the stars on a clear night. It is an aerodynamically shaped multi-purpose vehicle aimed at young urban professionals. It can accomodate up to five people and their surfing equipment.
